I really enjoyed watching your video!!!!!! I am a 74 year old Nana and have always wanted to work with wood. I have done very little with a table saw. My husband helped me cut a few pieces for crafting a few years ago. He passed away years ago and half ago and I want to make me a book shelf for my bedroom. While watching you I think I could surely do this. You are fantastic and the shelves are gorgeous!! Thanks so much for sharing. I’m subscribing to your channel because if I learned this much in such a short time I’m excited to see what more you do. Thanks Nana Brenda
simple and highly effective. sometimes you don't need dovetails and castle joints to make something beautiful and useful.
Love this design Shara, the bookshelf is gorgeous! In my experience, the "haters of pocket holes", are generally woodworkers who have a shop filled with thousands of dollars of every high-end speciality carpentry power tool, the finest hand tools, and a stash of the most expensive wood on the market. I think they hate that Pocket Holes have.made the average DIYer capable of building so many amazing projects without all the expensive tools. It's a "tool snob" sort of thing in my opinion. Just silly!
Really love this bookshelf!!! It is such a clean, modern design. Good to see Bubby was overseeing everything to make sure it turned out so nice!
That is a cool book case! It allows for displaying taller items. Thanks for the idea.
Hey, Shara. The shelf unit looks really nice. I love the opposing/alternating shelf design.
I agree with you. Leaving it unstained was the way to go.
Thanks for the video.
That’s a beautiful grain pattern on the plywood, I’m so glad you saw that too. Beautiful work young lady. 👊
Absolutely stunning.
Great build! Love the design and the simplicity of it.
i love this simple but elegant shelf. Thank you!
That shelf looks great! I totally agree with you on using that type of saw rather than a table saw and moving a sheet of plywood around. Great work!!
No haters over here Shara, your style is your style. Keep rocking with the pocket holes💯 I'm really digging this book shelf! The clear sealer was a good way to go, very cool.
Very Cool. When I saw the shelf my first thought was my model cars would look great on that. Thank you for sharing. I now have a weekend project.
absolutely stunning piece...and just from some quality plywood. amazing.
You are true inspiration!
Pocket Hole Rebel! Love it! Great build, Shara! 😊
Thanks, Shara! Btw…I love pocket holes❤️
Great interpretation on the common book shelf. Well done😊
This is terrific! I need to make one this weekend
I like this design, modern and unique.
Something new. Great bookshelf tutorial.
Another great project, looks awesome
Excellent work i love the modern look of the shelf great job....🎉
That’s a pretty unique design, I like how it gives you places for tap and short items. I think you made the right choice putting the vertical support inset, that way it doesn’t stick out the back and prevent the unit from pushing flush against the wall (or as close as the trim will allow)
I love that design. Well done.
That is beautiful Maple plywood.
Love the maple! Looks great.. Thanks for the video..
I just did this build as my first wood working project that was meant to be seen! I have a background in construction and can frame a wall or build a deck but man did I underestimate this job! Respect to you and all other woodworkers that make it look so easy, it is very different from construction. Thank you for sharing!
Love the design and this build 💕
Beautiful job shara👏👍👍👍👍👍
Great job. For cabinets and sheet-good work the pocket holes work great. I wasted so much time making dadoes and rabbets building cabinets for several projects because I thought it was the “right way” and it is impossible to tell the difference from the ones I put together with pocket holes. I appreciate that many of your projects can be finished in a timely manner because as much I appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into fine furniture I do not have 6 months to a year to spend building one piece. Great work Shara!
Thats a very stylish, mid century look book case 😎
Easy steps but awesome results, thanks for sharing
So elegant! I love the design, and simple to build to boot!
Nice simple project. Great wood color too. Thanks.
Wow! I'm impressed by the way you carried that full sheet and set it on the table like it was nothing!
It's a great way to cut down your plywood, make it a lot easier handle .... and pocket holes definitely have there in woodworking .... always enjoy watching your video ., keep up the great work
So beautiful!!
Love this design!!
What a beautiful and neat design … Thanks sharah
Such a cool, easy build! Don't give the haters the time re the pocket holes. They're not for every application, but there's nothing better or more economical in terms of time OR money for builds like this. Thanks for the great ideas and clear instruction, Shara.
this is fantastic! thank you! I also learned what wood banding is today!
I built it, but scaled up in size a bit. Love the design. I used Appleply too (got a really great deal on some sheets at the lumber yard, randomly) but left the edges exposed and really like it. Awesome video!
I love using pocket holes. great project.
You make the most amazingly useful and beautiful things!
Fantastic video, beautiful and simple build. I really like the modern look. Your judgy supervisor is adorable!
Beautiful ! And the grain pattern on the plywood really add a special touch, very stylish. Much love from Indiana ❤
What a cool and functional design 👍🏼
That’s a nice shelf, and such an easy build! Thanks!
Shara, I just love the simplicity of this project and the fantastic result! I think when I share it with my Sisters the sawdust will be flying. Since watching you build stuff for quite a while now I've adopted many of your techniques and processes as I've found them to work really well. I try to be open to new ideas and I can say I don't think your use of pocket holes, edge banding or rip cut tools is anything you need to apologize for. I am sorry to learn you've received some unkind feedback. I bet those people don't have a Bubby or Lucy to add balance to their life! The weather here has turned HOT so I've been working in the shop mornings and evenings. Midday I watch great You Tubes like yours or take a nap. Always a pleasure. Thanks for Sharing!
Exactly what I was looking for for my models as well, thanx.
Came out really nice!
Simply elegant. Nice work. 👍😸
Beautiful!
Nice.....even bubby approves... You also gave me a idea with this....thanks Shara
Nice video. I just built this today. Thank you!
So simple but beautiful furniture 🙌
Another beautiful project. Foreman bubby is keeping things safe. 😊
I really like your creative design and build project and the end result is stunning!
Well done!
Very nice and simple build. Thanks for sharing. I like using pocket hole joinery!!😊
Awesome design and build.
Another excellent build project Shara!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You are and very skilled builder and a very talented designer, an incredible combination.👍👍
I do remember when "someone" once said that when they moved to their new shop that they were going to build a rack for their scrap pieces? 🤣🤣🤣
We never have enough space LOL.😅
Thanks for sharing and stay blessed!😇🙏
Shara,
You have had some great ideas but this is really one of your best designs.
IT IS Beautiful !!!!!!
Plywood building queeennn. 👸
I dunno about QUEEN, but you know I love my PureBond plywood 😉🤣
Nicely done!
That is truly beautiful unit... Good job... Keep the videos coming, you are doing great...
Very pretty
Great work! I'm definitely going to try to make it this month!
That looks really nice!
Model Cars!!!!!!! I like your Dad! When I saw the thumb-nail, I was thinking that would be nice for my models!!
What a stunning book shelf thoroughly enjoyed the video 👌👍
omg this is awesome!!! Just found your channel. I love this shelf. :)
Wow! I like it, I like it a lot!
This looks so super stylish. I would never have came up with that split shelf design. This is so clever to store things of different hight. Shara, I love it!! And your cat, sooooo cute! Have a great weekend.
This turned out great
I love this! Great idea, beautiful look, love the 1-sheet aspect. Also, thank you for the cat images, really appreciate it. Great videos, looking forward to more!
Beautiful
Хорошо когда руки растут из правильного места 😊 Красота👍
Great idea. Thank you.
That turned out really cool I really like that idea. Great job
I really like this project ❤
Looks good! Keep up the good work.
Another WSD classic!
Nice design!
The open back gives it a nice light look--not like a heavy bookcase!
Great tutorial !
Way to work smarter! Much easier to push a saw through material than material through a saw, especially when that full sheet of plywood weighs a ton. Beautiful work!
Another great build. Keep sharing. Oh, I love pocket hole assembly!
Thanks so much! Team pocket holes all the way! 🙌🤣
Genuinely genius design! Thanks for sharing!
So glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate you watching!
Love the design of this shelf. I could see it made in other dimensions depending one ones personal needs. A very nice design and build.
This could definitely be modified really easily for bigger or smaller or different number of shelves. So glad you enjoyed it! 🙌
I own a Festool Domino. Pocket holes are still a great way to go for the right spot on the right projects. Most pocket hole haters probably don't own tools. Pocket holes were perfect for this job. And the project turned out very nice.
❤ amazing work 👍
Fab project
The bookshelf looks great and the design is a neat idea! Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching and hope you have a great weekend!
Great Project, nice and beautiful narration too, greetings from Tecate, Mx
I love your projects and also thank you for talking about MakeByMe. I have been using it for a week. Thank you, again and please keep up the great work.
Very nice job indeed. Would love to see it in place full of model cars!!
That is amazing! So simple yet looks so high end! I have to do this.
Waoo you make it so easy that one as a hobbyist is encouraged to do it, regards from Mexico 🇲🇽.
