Welcome back to the 5th and final build to go in my Dad's matching office furniture series!
This tall pantry cabinet/armoire/wardrobe cabinet build was made using standard 2x4 boards and some birch plywood. Even with lumber prices so high these days, this build still came out under $250 and I have plenty of leftover plywood to use for my next project :)

Your parents raised you well. Love the cabinet.
Thanks so much!
Thanks to your building methods my wife is getting a closet upgrade today.
Shara, It's good to see you're passionate about your vocation. It is very inspiring. Thank you for following your dreams. I like how you thought outside of the box in fixing your error. A mentor once told me, "The platform for success if built with the broken boards of failure, it's what you do with the broken boards that determines the outcome." You can either throw them away, or learn from them and use them in future projects. Great Job on the project and to your parents, Great job also in raising you.
This woman should have a lot more subscribers than what she has right now... Amazing designs. Will recommend this channel to a bunch. Thank you for the content
I really appreciate that! Thanks for following along and recommending!
Love the way you inserted the ad. It's probably the first time I sat through it on purpose, since you were still rolling in the background.
Sponsorships and ads are how I pay my bills. I know people don’t love them but tried to make it less obtrusive this way. Glad to hear some positive feedback on it! Thank you!
I tried to come up with a carpentry pun that woodwork...
I think I NAILED it but nobody SAW it.
😂😂 I love a good pun!
You make well made furniture from affordable lumber. The way you explain things. And explain to the critics. Is interesting. I've been doing woodwork for 19 years. And enjoy your videos and simplicity with amazing results. Just keep doing what your doing.
I really appreciate that! Thanks so much for watching. I’m glad to hear you enjoy the videos!
@@WoodshopDiaries wow a reply. That shows class and good manners. English is not my first language. When I said simplicity. It was not meant your designs. It's the tools and effortless way you put your work together. You make it look simple even though some of what your designs looks complicated. Your like a ballerina of woodwork. Great fundamentals. Good passion for what you do. Good finishing. Great end result . Thank you for your great videos. Just keep growing your skills. You inspired my niece to start woodworking she's 13.
Now you just need a lion and witch and your all set for an epic adventure!
Haha I LOVE the narnia books! 😄😄
My all set or her all set?
Great job!!! It's nice to see gals breaking the box they've been put it. Kudos.
That's a great piece. I'm always amazed at how creative you are with pine and a little trim.
I love making simple, beautiful pieces from simple, overlooked materials 🙌
looks gorgeous. Can't wait to see the full office suite together.
Thanks so much!! I’m excited to get it photographed!
I love the simplicity of your design. Thank you for sharing.

You’re so kind. Thank you!
I love the grain. Beautiful job getting that on the door and drawer front.
Thanks so much!! I love the natural birch grain and color variation too 😍
As I've come to expect, another fantastic piece!
Pointing out the hurdles you encounter are great reminders for us DIY-ers, playing at home, to not overlook the details on our jobs.
Thanks for sharing your project builds, warts and all.
I have come to realize mistakes are part of the process...for everyone even if they don’t admit it haha. So I like to admit mine ahead of time and confess that I definitely didn’t plan this out before I started building 🙈
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and the project. Thank you so much for watching!
Great job! I'm actually building this cabinet for my client. Cant wait to show the finish product.
absolutely it's magazine worthy, nice build
Thank you 😅 so glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much! 😄😄

Lovely! One lucky daddy. I say he is a proud man. Well how many dad's can get to say that his all office furniture my princess made it for me 👌👌. Well done girl as always and for i don't enjoy your mistakes but learn from it. So thanks for making easy for me and big thanks for sharing 🙏.

Great build Shara! This is a very nice armoire and I always enjoy your step by step explanations! Your mistake recoveries always look easy and one would never know they happened! Can’t wait to see a picture or short video of the entire build. Thanks and have a great weekend.
Thank you! I always appreciate you watching and following along. This one had a few mistakes (I failed to preplan anything 🤦🏼♀️😂😂) but thankfully nothing major. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great weekend as well!
This was a great series and your design and builds were fantastic. I always learn from your tutorials and enjoy watching them.

Beautiful Work!
Seu trabalho é incrível, amo cada um deles, assisto a todos, queria ter esse dom, mas amo assistir vídeos de marcenaria. Beijos do Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷❤
Excellent design Shara ! Simple, cheap and easy to build !
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it!
You should look into a 22 gauge pin nailer. Very handy for trim, and you can't even see the nails.
Another great project, Shara! You did a very nice job as usual and I can't wait to see all the pieces together. Very impressive build!!
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it!
You're videos are awesome! Some of the easiest how-to videos I've seen in a while. You're great at showing and talking about the key details that viewers need to understand when trying to learn these skills ourselves. Thanks for all you do!
So glad you enjoy the videos! I really try to make the process clear and answer as many questions in them as I can. Some are better than others, but I do hope they are always helpful!
Just love everything you build and your videos too! And Yes....your pieces are "magazine worthy".
You’re so kind. Thank you! 💕 so glad you enjoy the videos!
Always helpful n clean work
Great job lady. Impressive 👍
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!
You have mad skills..really enjoyed this.
Great work! Cove moulding adds some nice dimension. I'll have to try the pivot hinges someday. It looks clean and relatively uncomplicated.
I really loved trying out these pivot hinges. Not as much adjustment as a concealed hinge, but they're not too bad to install.
beautiful piece
Nice work again ,here is a trick of the Trade , Inam a retired Professional Woodworker with over 25 years of Professional Woodworking and over 35 as a Woodworking Hobbyist you never have to reveal your mistakes just come up with good solutions and when or if you are asked about a Specific question on that area or design just come up with a simple response of oh yeah I saw a similar design on a Sam Maloof or Frank Lloyd Wright design and Inwanted to mimic that ... trust me nobody will challenge that one as for my own self I am a fan of both of those men and their work as I do have a large personal Library of their work and have been to Museumns of both of them too FYI you are by far one of the prettiest Woodworkers I’ve seen and I ran a large Architectual Woodworking division for many years
Haha great idea! It sounds like you are on to something there.
Wow nice job! Looks great. I need to build one of these
Awesome, thanks for sharing and great work!
pocket holes are legit... love my kreg jig!!!
100% agree. I love mine too!
Great job and would look great in a magazine -- you did an outstanding job!

Looks like a fairly simple design. I might copy the carcass and modify the interior a bit. And I think I’m gonna make a larger one. Thanks!
I would say your projects are of Shaker style. I like the clean lines and strength of your builds. Mighty fine work.

I love how you made everything seems simple to build. Everything seems doable to a noob DIYer like me
That’s my goal! I try to make everything approachable. Because it is! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Great series, and love the Count Chocula shirt.
Ha! I was wondering if anyone would notice. I’ve always loved when count chocula comes out in the fall season! My sister found this shirt for me because I’m a big fan 😂😂
This is the best one in the series in my opinion! Great job!
Thank you so much!! I think it’s a toss up between the desk and this one, but this one was definitely top of the list as far as most fun to build! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! That is an awesome build!
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!
Un hermoso y perfecto trabajo...felicitaciones 👏 9
Thanks so much!!
I don’t understand the hate for pocket holes. It’s such a efficient way to build. Great build!!
Agree!! I inevitably get comments about it on every build. 🤷♀️ I’m impatient and hate cleaning up glue so I’m all for it 😂
Bravo! Nice series. Looking forward to the office pic. I use pocket holes, Festool dominos, dovetails, or name it, for joinery. Whatever joinery the project calls for is what's appropriate. Whatever you're comfortable with, that's appropriate.
100% agree. Use what works and what you’re comfortable using. Thanks for following along on this series! I appreciate you watching!
you are my biggest inspo. for real, amazing stuff. im in austria and i sent my mom your videos back home and she obsessed
Wow, thank you! That is so kind. I'm so glad you and your mom enjoy the projects :)

GOOD JOB !!!
Thank you!
Another nice build. I'm sure your dad appreciates the furniture.
Thanks so much!! He and my mom love the new projects. I’m happy to be able to build them for them!
I'm not sure how I got here but I'm glad I did. I really like that build and will have to go back and watch what all you have done. After watching this one, I think there will many great ideas to find in your others.
So glad you enjoyed it. I hope you enjoy the others!!
@@WoodshopDiaries I lost track of how many I've watched so far but they are all two thumbs up from me!! Thanks for sharing your talent.
This is cute. I might build something like this for a pantry cabinet!
That's a great idea! Happy building!
Really nice! Great job!
Thank you so much!
Nice work 👍👍👍
Shara, I love the way you use 2x4's and other affordable lumber to make well-designed furniture. I also enjoy the way you explain things. Thank you for your time and effort! God Bless!
I appreciate that and glad to hear you enjoy the videos! Thanks so much for watching!
So nice and neat!
Thanks so much!
Great video looks good
Dads favorite child. My daughter is the best as well.
Looks Great! Nice job
Thanks so much!
I can't wait to see the final reveal of the entire set. I absolutely love your design aesthetic, and I will admit that I have learned much from your videos. If I would suggest one thing, you might consider just ignoring the pocket hole trolls. Don't apologize for your approach to folks who will most likely never approve of anything less than their perception of perfection. If your client (in this case your dad) and you are happy with the work product, then that's good enough. If someone wants to build half blind dove tail drawer boxes, have at it... Go forth and make, and record yourself doing it, produce a video, and get out there and build a following.
There is much to be said for you Shara suiting up, even if your suit includes rain boots, showing up, and making a handmade work product. Keep on making, producing, and sharing.
I have become a fan, I enjoy your practicality, keen intellect, design sense, and clear / articulate voice over. Keep up the good work!
Shara eres muy buena en la carpintería te felicito
Thank you so much!
Flawless...you nailed it...or screwed it, lol. Beautiful.
Absolutely fantastic Wardrobe Armoire Cabinet!! 🤙🏾💯. I’ve really enjoyed this whole series of builds. You’re a very talented special person. Always good to see you❤️....Thanks for sharing..
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I really appreciate your kind words and glad you followed along for the series!
@@WoodshopDiaries 😎.....Can’t wait to see what you do next!
Beautiful build Shara! I’ve gotten into the habit of clicking the Like button before I watch your videos, I’m never disappointed!
Haha that’s so kind of you to say. Thank you! I’m so glad to hear you enjoy the videos!
3:41 is beautiful ❤
