    That’s a great way to break down the plywood. So much better than trying to wrangle it to the table saw or hunch over it on the ground. Great job on the video too!

    Hi Matt, I've been thinking about building a cabinet for a water dispenser in my house, so even if I don't have the tools you have, this is great to start figuring out the step by step and keep me going with that project. Thanks for the video buddy, looking forward for more!

    • @foofstarr4856
      @foofstarr4856 2 года назад

      Really? Thinking about it? Well here is a break down for ya. Step one, get all the tools that he has. After spending 10k on tools, don't forget step zero, which comes before step one. Get a big house with a two garages (one for your cars, one garage for your new shop that will house the 10k worth of tools you bought for in the first step. That comes obviously after you pay off your credit card debts that you used to pay for said tools and the dream of yours, and the credit repairing that needed to be done in order to bring your score up to be able to approve for that bigger house and garage. Now you can move on to step two, and that is to learn the techniques of carpentry, jointery and whathaveyou and begin building yourself the water dispenser of your dreams. Then step 3, invest in quality video production tools and high end computers (another 10k) to start your own channel and social media following to make back some of what you spent on the tools and big barn house this past few years. Or, skip all this and pay your local Joe Moe carpenter RUclips dude to build one for ya and there ya go. Cheers.

    looks nice, now attach 1/8” thick soft weather seal to the inside edge of the door to keep the dust out and keep it as dust free as possible.
    i did this to my shop cabinets and it works great. i did compensate for the weather stripping but if it’s 1/8” thick and soft, it may be five and the door should close tight enough.
    although one of my cabinet doors twisted and has an opening but the rest are fine.
    just a thought.

Also your reference some special type of wood glue that sets up a little quicker and it’s a little thicker. I didn’t see it in the video description I just saw a normal type on. • @MWAWoodworks
      @MWAWoodworks  3 года назад +1

      At a minimum you'd need a table saw to make the cuts assuming you can get pre-milled lumber to be able to make the door. Then you'd need at minimum a drill/driver set for assembly and if you don't have glue and clamps you'd need a kreg jig to make pocket holes.

    Great job with the video. Unfortunately, however, I don't have a router, planer, or joiner. In your future videos, I'd love to hear alternative ways to getting a similar result with more basic tools. You should challenge yourself to make a video on how to make a similar (but perhaps more simple) cabinet for the average (or beginner) woodworker! That would be a great video!

    • @MWAWoodworks
      @MWAWoodworks  3 года назад +2

      Well, what kind of tools do you have? As long as you can get pre-surfaced lumber you don't need a jointer or planer. And a frame and panel door can be made entirely on a table saw. In fact I have a video on that.

    oi vey RIP my poor ears...guess that's the disadvantage of a wireless system. you walk a few feet to get something and by sad coincidence, the video you were watching plays a high pitched power tool whine. You either pull out the buds and instinctively scream, startling your house mates OR if they're cans, you frantically press the ( - ) volume hopefully to mute the sound before you go momentarily deaf. NGL, that was painful, have your laugh sir. So many videos like this on RUclips (and not just woodworking guys) who think painful sounds are cool elements to include in their episodes (I mean they can lower the levels. Yes, I'm referring to the title card, not the build itself).
