Can you use ezviz cameras with HomeKit via homebridge?

Do you need to be operating HomeKit, I only use a mesh system wifi will it still operate?
I'm confused. I thought that you can use 2k with homekit but not homekit secure video? They've been added to homekit but isn't allowing 2k.

I have two Eufy cameras and a doorbell and for some reason I seem to have issues connecting it to my HomeKit. I finally got it connected to my Apple HomeKit but now I can't see the cameras and my cameras are also not connecting to my home base 2. Anybody got any pointers?

We are pretty happy with it, but I would say grab the Eufycam 2 or the 2 Pro depending on your budget.

I have bought the EufyCam 2c Pro, and what bothering me is that you can't make a schematic in the Eufy app to create one that the camera is able to record at night and use geofencing at day time. is there a workaround for that option in HomeKit? (first time user for HomeKit)
Are you talking about the 'activity zones'? The stuff you set for getting motion alerts? As far as I know, they aren't settable based on time of day in either the Eufy nor the Apple Home app.
Couple questions: Where does a guy purchase replacement batteries for the cameras. Can a guy have the cameras stay in dormant mode and only come on with movement? If so, how long will it record before shutting off (Say it picks up a thief and then the thief moves off screen).

Will it work with a WiFi extender if camera is out of range?
I wouldn't know how to setup the extender to work with it because I don't see any SSID or anything from the home base. Maybe check their docs?
movethe base closer. the base can work over wifi not just ethernet
Only reason to go for pro is if apl updates homekit with higher res
The Eufy app still shows 2k... So not a total waste imo.
I heard that all Eufy devices can only work if you have 2 separate bands, 2.4g and 5g, at home. IF you have a mesh network that combines 2.4g and 5g into one SSID then their devices will not work. True ? Anyone ?
These particular cameras work directly with the HomeBase included in the kit, so you don't need to set or utilize any SSID stuff.
Can you use the “Hey Siri” feature to see a certain camera?
Yes, on a device with a screen just say 'Show me the X' where X is the camera name. For instance the camera is this video is called Garage, so I just say 'Show me the Garage' and it works great!
I’m very disappointed after buying this because 1/ you cannot continuously steaming the video and 2/ it does not record 24/7 but only if there are motions

Apple HomeKit maxes out at 1080p so you won’t see 2k video on the HomeKit.
Yeah, bummer. I'm hoping maybe in iOS 16, we get 2k support?
Probably would be a better video if you ran through it first so you knew what you were doing prior to recording. You lost me in your struggles and muttering.
