Don't forget the Flashforge AD5M/Pro. The standard AD5M is ~280 on sale and is actually very nice. The Pro isn't worth it IMO, you're better off with the standard and a DIY enclosure kit if you really need enclosed printing. But yeah, I agree. This printer looks kinda rough. I have the Infimech TX and I love it!!! It's as close as you can get to print and walk away. I have had a few issues with filament getting stuck in the extruder. I think it was my fault by not adjusting the drive wheel spring loaded screw. I highly recommend it!!!

With the 220x220 build size, I would have compared this machine to the Creality K1 and not the x1c or p1s. For the price difference after the upgraded cooling, I believe the K1 would be the better buy but unfortunately, it was not compared. Also, it would be great to add more information on the nozzle types during the reviews as they can be a pain to find replacements for some machines. Great job as always! Hi. Great review as always. Thank you! I have been using this 3D printer for over 3 months now. I am very happy. It is the fastest machine out of all my 5 3D printers. It would be nice to solve the firmware update problem though. I would still reduce the preparation time before printing, for example, by half. I think it is possible.
I wish it had a larger build volume, I'm already limited with the 3 various Enders I have now. It's nice to see you back! Your brother did a fantastic job with the previous video but I was a bit shocked to see his face instead of yours. 😆
I was waiting for this review to help make up my mind on which printer to get, and your video pops up a day after I placed my order! Nevertheless, I enjoy watching it! Thanks
Great delve into this one (as usual!). It really is a compelling machine at that price, but I would love to see a big brother - same features, but with a 300 x 300 x 350mm build volume. The missing 80mm o the X and Y would really affect my printing because some of my prototypes must be single piece solutions that can't be split for a smaller bed.
Nice review. Thai company is a sister company Flying Bear who has a similar model for outside the US. Another item to watch out for is the steep shipping which brings this inline with some other printers. Great review.

Great Job.. Great option also... I think your channel really makes these manufacturers work harder at their products. I think you may need to add a few new print challenges incase they tweak their printers to pass your test. Maybe also you can add one simple destruction test to see if the print adhesion is better or worse. Personally I would like to see a -0.1mm fitment test piece, for which if a print still "passes" it's marked down for significantly underextruding. Otherwise, great review as always.
I’m always surprised any company wants to make a 200 or 220mm volume anymore unless it’s in a line of other models bigger and smaller or at least bigger. Not when the A1 and P1P exist as competitors.
This is the point. I own an A1 but I want an enclosed printer. This kind of checks every box, its open source and parent company has been around for ages
I spoke with Infimech. It's coming. Also, remember that Inifimech is just flying bear, so they might market the Reborn 3 as their larger machine, which isn't a bad thing. The 3 looks miles better than the 2 did.
From an engineering perspective that top fabric "hat" is a genius way to cut cost. Usually you have a large plastic cover that would take up a bunch of room for shipping, and take quite a large expensive mold to make. And since the printer is used with the top off a lot for printing most materials, the user can just fold it up and store it instead of a giant plastic cover. Hats off to you. Pun intended.
Oh little One, you are so good at helping us old folks see what is out there and attractive. This machine does feel a good deal. I have a heavily modified CR 10S Pro V1 it is really good BUT, I need a production machine for small and medium sized parts. This is quite affordable. But the Company is completely unknown, will they be around and will there be updates??? Many of your cons could be fixed with minor cost impact, bigger memory etc. Your way of communicating is so good. You really have a gift. I trust school is going well and you have a plan ahead. All the best to you and team, Thank You for a great review, Dennis
Interesting and good review, as always . The build plate is also only 71% of a X1C or P1P build plate, but nice price. BTW Aurora cutting the gear teeth at an angle aka making helical gears, does NOT increase the torque. But hey, most of your viewers won't know this , so let's not tell them about it.😁
Ive been waiting for you to review this one. Infimech makes VERY good printers and are actually "Flying Bear" company from EU. At $379 with all the filtering and camera the TX is a Bambu killer. Its $220 less than a P1S and is actually made with higher quality parts. Are you going to review the new Flying Bear Reborn 3 that just came out?? Its a 300x300x320 Core XY for $499
EU? Why would a "Flying Bear" company from EU need to create a separate company for an American market? And why would they have a telephone number starting with +86 on their "Contact Us" page of the site?
Have you used Vision Miners’s Nano Polymer Adhesive? I quit using any other adhesive for my build plate after I got it. It def has great adhesion and worth a try. As always, this is a great review ☺️
i like that other companies are getting into the Core XY game. the downside to them is that they're a little on the small side. ok, i concede the point that they're targeting first time buyers with them. for those of us that are looking to upgrade but stay on a budget, having an option to buy a Core XY machine with a larger build plate is probably in our first 3 reasons to upgrade.
Just a heads up that this machine does indeed have a setup wizard at least on the latest firmware. When I first turned mine on it did WiFi setup then pid calibration, resonance calibration and bed leveling as well as filament loading. This machine is a great machine and has a very high print quality when you get it dialled in.
As expected from Aurora herself, a great video sporting new music. Except for the software issues, I felt that you were being over critical given the price of this machine w/r Bambu Labs or others. As an introductory machine, time will upgrade the firmware and z offset issues and a new user will be rewarded with a good starter machine. For sure, Infimech is to be congratulated, IMHO.
I don't think any company should get a pass just because their printer is cheaper. Features should be compared And to me the price is one of the features
Really enjoyed the video, hard to believe I paid about the same for my Ender 5 Pro just a few years ago. Re. The quality comparison. Would it not be fairer to choose a print profile that matches the time of the Prusa? Would a smaller layer hight or slower acceleration improve the quality? If the infimech can produce great dimensional accuracy, seems to me it should; given the chance also produce great print quality.👍👍
I was surprised to see a rear filament mount. I have never seen a positive response to mounting the filament on the back. Why would any company chose this location with this in mind? Other than that, it's nice to see a new kid on the block. More competition means the consumer wins.
Why are default TPU profiles still set to old school printer speeds? I print TPU at 15mm³s on my kobra 2 max. It works fine. The biggest issue i have is the stopping the TPU soaking up water during the print and stringing 😂
I couldn't watch any other review channels after I stumbled on this one. The next bloke that gets up there claiming a review is coming and starts talking, I'm like GTFO. Then I come back here :)
Seeing the regularity of the pattern on the 1st layer print is interesting! Is it possible to use the image of this layer to make adjustments to other parameters, rendering a smoother print? For example, if that 1st layer sheet has a wavy pattern like a washboard road, is it repeatable across prints? If so, couldn't it be corrected for using a few "alignment" prints to find the average of the ripples?
I would imagine to keep the test prints across all the different models she has reviewed the same. If she changed the pattern, it could affect print times (by how much is debatable). This way they are all measured against each other the same.
@@AuroraTech I feel it's extremely important to do flow ratio and pressure advance calibrations with the filament used in reviews, especially when judging tolerances. Tolerances and surface details vary from filament to filament if not using the material and profile provided by the printer manufacturer (and even sometimes when using those). It isn't a fair comparison between printers if this isn't done on each one.
Well, if she doesn't do the calibration on any of them, it's pretty fair comparison. Also, If every printer was perfectly calibrated, every printer would perfectly pass this test. Aurora's method is better because it simulates what 99% of people are going to do when they take a printer out of the box. Run through the wizard and start printing.
@@SpacebarfI agree and disagree. If she use the filament that came with the printer then maybe I would agree more but she doesn't. And without her doing the calibration, I can't tell if my purchase is going to be what I hope it is until I get it myself, which defeats the purpose of the review for me.
You'll need to wait for the next firmware update. Generally, that should be easy to fix; they just need to do auto Z-offset at a higher temperature instead of 130C/40C.
I use Elmer's Craft Bond Extra Strength ($3.25 for 25g from Walmart); it's cheap and effective for any filament, just as good as any so-called 'special formula' that costs $25+.
Hello I'm a beginner and I bought this second printer of mine, despite I read that it reaches 500 mms I made several prints with the profiles I found on Orcaslicer but honestly the prints are slower than my previous printer which was a humble Anycubic Cobra 2 ..Even the boat test with the Anycubic I did in 22 min. where can I try more performing settings or what other solutions can I adopt.. Thank you
I much prefer loading firmware from SD card. I do not like having to connect my printer to the internet, so I'm glad to see that option. I like to have all my 3D printers on a separate network that is not able to access the internet, so Bambu printers are a hard no for me.
I have had the FF 5M, and would say that is a solid machine, but this one is better. And using regular Klipper with the Fluidd interface. And had excellent printer and filament profiles in Orca. And prints without fuss right out of the box. My favorite printer ever, and it's not even close. I'm just really happy that something finally did all the things the manufacturer said it would do right out of the box with little to no fuss. 12 stars out of 5.
I know its not related to this video but id like to ask if the Ender V3 KE video is going to come out soon, im debating if i should get the KE or the A1 mini. The price on them is the same, the build volume is bigger on KE so im leaning towards it, wondering if the KE can have comparable quality as A1 mini with some tuning?
I was wondering this as well. I wonder how you test for underextrusion as well as poor tolerances. I think Maker's Muse did this with a ring that shouldn't come off the print but would only come loose with some tolerance level.
A lot of the resin printer test prints will have a set of cones that are expected to print properly and a set of cones that are expected to barely not print properly. Based on how many extra or how few printed, you can come up with a good next guess for a second pass at calibrating your resin. Something equivalent would be nice here, although just running the regular Orca extrusion rate calibration prints before doing the fitment test would be nice.
👋👋Can you review the Tronxy Veho 1000 x (preferably)1600 Ive message them and told them they should send a free one to you, for an honest review. Hopefully they will listen 👍👍
IDK, the print quality looked a lot worse on this device in comparison to other reviews, maybe it was the filament? Think I'd rather get a cheaper bed slinger + a $60 enclosure than one of these.

Thumbs up for printing more useful things 👍👏
they need to fix that purge booger. I can see it building up under the tray, heated bed.
What a good name for a cat:Purge Booger.
Aurora the wise (er) has returned 🎉❤🎉
Aww hell yeah Aurora upload 😎
Really enjoyed the video, hard to believe I paid about the same for my Ender 5 Pro just a few years ago. Re. The quality comparison. Would it not be fairer to choose a print profile that matches the time of the Prusa? Would a smaller layer hight or slower acceleration improve the quality? If the infimech can produce great dimensional accuracy, seems to me it should; given the chance also produce great print quality.👍👍
Welcome back
Have you checked out the Adventurer 5m? Its around same price and the print head and operations are just like a Bambu. Anyways, great video!
The change to tango-style background music really threw me. XD
I was surprised to see a rear filament mount. I have never seen a positive response to mounting the filament on the back. Why would any company chose this location with this in mind? Other than that, it's nice to see a new kid on the block. More competition means the consumer wins.
wow, just wow!
Great review
Great Work. 👍
Why are default TPU profiles still set to old school printer speeds?
I print TPU at 15mm³s on my kobra 2 max.
It works fine. The biggest issue i have is the stopping the TPU soaking up water during the print and stringing 😂
would rather have a bambu labs one any day of the week.
still love watching your videos. ❤❤
Thanks you
Another great review, thanks! Btw if I may ask why are you using grid infill, it is a bit outdated imho
I would imagine to keep the test prints across all the different models she has reviewed the same. If she changed the pattern, it could affect print times (by how much is debatable). This way they are all measured against each other the same.
@@NickSilverYT true!
Do you do flow ratio and pressure advance calibrations before evaluating things like tolerance test prints?
No, I just did input shaper and auto leveling, and then started all test prints.
Is there a fix for the z offset issue? I ordered one, thanks a lot Aurora!!
You'll need to wait for the next firmware update. Generally, that should be easy to fix; they just need to do auto Z-offset at a higher temperature instead of 130C/40C.
Good review, appreciated and keep up the good work!
Thank you!
hej @Aurora in my opinion best glue for prints is dimafix glue but in spray. What do You think ? do you have any alternative in spray for it?
I use Elmer's Craft Bond Extra Strength ($3.25 for 25g from Walmart); it's cheap and effective for any filament, just as good as any so-called 'special formula' that costs $25+.
16:33 orange filament seems to warp quite bad?
ampanget! Should be 200$ price range for that print quality
It looks kinda of cheap to me but.. That's something I actually like for some reason
I wonder if they plan on making it compatible with an ams unit
Infimech vs the qidi q1 pro?? Which do you think is better
Thank you
Is it Flying bear S1?
This isn't a Bambu replacement or match but it's at a competitive price point at least
4:01 let’s go to the beach beach…
I would purchase this except the build volume is too small. Cannot even print license plate frames.
what will we possibly do without license plate frames.
Right, and it can't even print a car bumper... /s

I much prefer loading firmware from SD card. I do not like having to connect my printer to the internet, so I'm glad to see that option. I like to have all my 3D printers on a separate network that is not able to access the internet, so Bambu printers are a hard no for me.
Would you recommend it over the FlashForge A5M Pro?
I have had the FF 5M, and would say that is a solid machine, but this one is better. And using regular Klipper with the Fluidd interface. And had excellent printer and filament profiles in Orca. And prints without fuss right out of the box. My favorite printer ever, and it's not even close. I'm just really happy that something finally did all the things the manufacturer said it would do right out of the box with little to no fuss. 12 stars out of 5.
@@davedempsey5282 Thank you for your answer and assessment
But can you get replacement parts...like extruder gears?
What is the ETA on multi filament system?
Is it fully open source? i.e. can I install mainsail, reinstall klipper, etc? Is the toolhead canbus? Thank you.
Hi. What type of nozzle does it use?
I know its not related to this video but id like to ask if the Ender V3 KE video is going to come out soon, im debating if i should get the KE or the A1 mini.
The price on them is the same, the build volume is bigger on KE so im leaning towards it, wondering if the KE can have comparable quality as A1 mini with some tuning?
The A1 Mini or the A1 are better.
I feel like that tolerance test just tests how much the printer underextrudes.
I was wondering this as well. I wonder how you test for underextrusion as well as poor tolerances. I think Maker's Muse did this with a ring that shouldn't come off the print but would only come loose with some tolerance level.
@@TheRealClutch1010 I was thinking a go/no-go test like in machining where a piece is supposed to fit in one and not fit in another
A lot of the resin printer test prints will have a set of cones that are expected to print properly and a set of cones that are expected to barely not print properly. Based on how many extra or how few printed, you can come up with a good next guess for a second pass at calibrating your resin. Something equivalent would be nice here, although just running the regular Orca extrusion rate calibration prints before doing the fitment test would be nice.
👋👋Can you review the Tronxy Veho
1000 x (preferably)1600
Ive message them and told them they should send a free one to you, for an honest review.
Hopefully they will listen 👍👍
👍
IDK, the print quality looked a lot worse on this device in comparison to other reviews, maybe it was the filament? Think I'd rather get a cheaper bed slinger + a $60 enclosure than one of these.
@9:16 - I started dancing...new song?
Definitely new song. This and another one later one have a tango vibe to them.
20:05, you should move the video previews to the left if you know what I mean.
