Love tuna salad, living in Florida means a lot of cold dinners in the summer months. I usually use sweet relish and some pickled hot banana pepper and fresh dill. I need to give the dill relish a try instead of the sweet. 👍
Okay, first of all - Kick-Ass Chef coat! Second, I have lost my love for tuna fish, but I think it's your add-ins that are what make it look absolutely delicious and this recipe is enough to make me want to try tuna again. 💜💜💜✌😻
Hey Kevmo, I’m digging the new chef coat. The tuna salad and the way that you plated it is a nice refreshing meal on these hot days. What a treat. Good video man.. ✌️
Ingredients I love with tuna. Need to have some garlic. I like to slice it with a truffle slicer as thin as it will cut. It kind of melts in. Then I like some Penzey's Maharajah Style Curry Powder. Some Sweet or Picante smoked Pimenton de la Vera, I like it warm so I use the picante. I add brunoise schallots. 1/2 of the spoon in the Lee Kum Kee Chicken Bouillon - Chicken Powder. Touch of toasted sesame oil. Easy as you go here. Thin sliced green onions ribbons. I mix everything with the mayo except the tuna, mix and let the flavors diffuse into the mayo 30 min to an hour (frig). Add tuna mix ready to plate. I like crusty toasted sourdough bread with boston leaves top and bottom, with a pickle speer or two on the side. Your plating style on the other hand would be absolutely spectacular! Ima steal it for sure. OH, love the jacket!
Kev, that is exactly how I make my tuna salad and always use Albacore. Can't even stand any other tuna. When I remember, I'll put a few drops of fresh lemon juice to brighten the flavor and sometimes add some fresh dill (just a little though). Love your calming voice, energy and videos. I love tuna but I can't have it much anymore. Out cat goes absolutely batshit crazy if I open the can😂. To be fair, he eats kitty tuna daily for wet food so he thinks he's getting fed
