To say that M2K is a "famous smash player" and that he's been "grinding f-zero 99" are BOTH massive understatements lmao.
One of the "Five Gods of Melee" who's been "utterly wrecking F-Zero 99" sounds more accurate.

Mew2king right for saying what he did. They should remove all the easy tracks at least once as an experiment with the 99 race lobby. Also i feel like if you played this game a lot you probably raced him once or twice like i know i have along with some other big names out there. Running into great people is always fun. I quit playing this game when i got tired of lucky bumpers and what actually drove me mad was how you could easily ignore the pinball physics and recover from bumps and spin attacks in this game on top of skyway not letting me boost and ko smoking machines cause even if i boosted before filling up the rng mechanic it would immediately activate if i filled itaduring the beginning of a boost which also made me lose races often cause i never wanted to activate skyway but game forces it on me and it would be better if skyway was a seperate button from boost. Thats what broke me on top of it being nearly impossible to ko others and the horrible vehicle balance where Fox and Goose dominate everything. If this was GX online it would be far more fun imo. It really doesn't feel like an Fzero game when you get punished for being far too aggressive.
Unironically the goat of the smash franchise lmao. Like he’s not armada or Zer0 or Leo in terms of any one game, but he’s top level in literally all of them

It's so funny how the one that wins is so annoyed and sad but the one who barely survives to even finish is the one happy and having a good time. Like don't get me wrong I get tired of people picking mute city all the time too, but Istill have fun, he needs a new outlook on life or he needs to play a different game.

He was only irritated because of how the voting system didn't give him the course he wanted and the fact that he's literally done Mute City I hundreds of times already when new courses just got released. That's a pretty understandable reason not to enjoy the game at that moment.
Also, you clearly don't realize that competitive gaming isn't a hobby but a career. In order to reach a skill level suitable for tournament play, competitive gamers will practice for months or even years, perfecting their technical skills and learning the meta inside and out. At that point, it's not about fun. It's about winning.
