Let me get this straight.... You took a turbo car (which needs exhaust velocity, AKA Pipe Diameter, to build power) and downsized the piping.... Thus losing power in the process. I realize he's a paying customer, but, he took a decent Sport/Luxury car and turned it into a Civic with a fart can. A Fool and His Money are Soon Parted. Awesome.
Do people not understand that a turbo has a muffling effect on the exhaust and will not be as loud as naturally aspirated with the same exhaust?

Shouldve went with 2.5 with a x-pipe to 3" with the 4"tips. It sounded a little restricted
X pipes make it quieter though, and restriction well yeah but low end power is better at least lol

@@Falco_e46That wouldn't increase low end power as it's a twin turbo. If anything you'd lose a bunch of power everywhere.
Either way sounds OK I say it's just a waste of money for a few more Decibels should have left it the bigger pipe lol
It literally got quieter and sounded more raspy.
It wavelength literally got choked smaller and made higher pitch. Also I'd love to know how it robbed the top end.
@@marshmowerIt definitely robbed 15-20 hp from 2,000 to redline being that it's a twin turbo being choked.
he is losing alot of power by going with smaller piping, turbo vehicles love 3in pipe and basically anything you can do to open up the exhaust.

Sounds good! ALWAYS, always hard to really get a good bead on how a turbo car sounds before/after though. Folks can debate about pipe size and cats til the cows come home, bottom line is when that engine gets under load, she's gonna be louder with smaller pipes out the back plain and simple

My dad bought a 2019 Infiniti Q60 Red Sport used. The previous owner had the muffler deleted. He liked it for about a month “too much drone noise” and ended up finding an OEM to put back on.
if he wouldve got vibrant resonators, it wouldve had a deeper growl with no drone, man i love the q60

Should have just run open manifolds if he wanted it louder. Besides being a much louder Q50 and providing optimal back pressure, it would also reach Q90 performance levels.

The VR30 just does not sound good. I still have my 2015 VQ3.7 with test pipes sounds 10X better.

Some areas don't allow exhaust shops to remove the cats. Where I live an exhaust shop can be shut down if an audit reveals they removed the cats, and these audits go through everything from paperwork to camera footage.

I love these videos but bro there’s no such thing as a q50S it’s just the q50 and the q50 red sport with a red S that’s ONLY on the sides of the car nothing is ever stock on the back but the q50 and the Infiniti symbol and the difference is the red sport comes with extra pumps and a blow off valve for the two turbos
