This is by far the best Speed Culture Studios Exhaust video out. Flawlessly executed; concise and jam packed with info, perfect blend of visuals and audio. Currently doing the same the same set up on my 3.7. I dont see how anyone would wanna ruin this set up for greater loudness and intentional rasp. Just dumb. Great video.

Glad I saw this, definitely getting some test pipes and getting rid of the stock cats. Speed Culture’s set up has test pipes and now I see the difference.

I was contemplating doing everything except the borla, because I have stock cats and SCS said that if I have stock cats and do both mid muffler and resonators. That it would sound pretty close to stock. But from the sounds of this video, still sounds a little louder and better than stock. What are your thoughts?

@@thade6130 Really late but I went with an invidia cat back and berk hi flow cats and I’m more than pleased with the result. Nice and loud but not trumpety like the vq sterotype

So how did you tell the mechanic shop to set this up And also do you have other links for the borla muffler and the flex pipe ? Looks like the links in description don’t work for those two.
You can show the shop this video and show the finished product where I show underneath the car. Speedculture studios on RUclips has a more in depth video with pictures. And google borla universal pro xs muffler 400286 for the exact one that I used. For the flex pipe any 2.5” flex pipe will do the job

Muffler delete with 4 inches tips make same sound or better and louder
Definitely louder , too raspy for my taste tho , good alternative for the price if you don’t really care about performance and just want that loud exhaust then muffler delete is the way to go for sure

Felt quicker lol more responsive, forsure gained some hp over stock

With stock cats you won’t see a big bump in performance.

Bro just wanna know if this how it goes exactly cats/test pipes connects to flange with gasket in the middle of flange and cats welded to the flex pipe with 2.5 pipping welded to borla with 2.5 pipping welded to flow fx into upower tips?

Yes this is possible with awd, you can set it up exactly like how I have it set up , there’s a different way some people have all the pieces set up as well, speed culture studios on RUclips has a more in depth video explaining it if you need it

Just a question why did you decide to put the flowfx at the end instead of the middle? I know SCS his setup he has the borla muffler at the end by the tips.
I have it set up exactly how he has it, the set up I think ur referring to is the set up he recommend for 370zs with the muffler in the back

What's up bro. I was wondering how's the Borla Pro XS holding up? I read that after a while you can see fiberglass on your rear bumper and it rattles under hard acceleration.
So far I haven’t noticed any fiberglass on my bumper nor have experienced rattling under hard acceleration
@@isaiasmeza620 Instead of doing what you did, I bought Vibrant bottled resonators and street power mufflers. However, I do have Motordyne HFCs. Debating on if I should get the Borla Pro XS as well.

how much you paid the muffler shop to do the work?
The shop that I went to charged me $550 compared to other shops that were quoting more, so if you decide to do it call multiple places for the best price and look them up on google for reviews on their work
I got $450-600 quotes. Ended up paying $500

Yes, the exhaust shop will provide the rest of the pipe needed for the exhaust
Is this with stock pipes and stock cats? I have a 3.7 awd and I did a muffler delete with berk hfcs and stock resonators but might change it cause of the drone and trumpet sound.

How did you get the diffuser to stick? Can’t get it to stick for my life. tried 3m, gorilla tape, prewipe with alcohol. Only thing i didn’t do is use a adhesive prep spray but i doubt it would of made a difference
What i did to help it stick was scuff up the paint a little bit where the diffuser goes to make the surface more rough so it can stick better, used scotch brite or sand paper that’s not so aggressive
I used both 3M and bolts lol

I’m not finding an exact match but I’m sure an exhaust shop would have that missing piece or could fabricate one

1) Does this setup effect on performance or milage?
2) Should I get a tune after this exhaust?
You don’t have to get a tune with this set up, you would gain performance if you did but you don’t have to. And tbh I haven’t paid attention to mileage since I’ve had the exhaust

Parts and labor all together was around $850 all depends on how much your local exhaust shop will charge to weld everything together and install

You will have the exact same sound, I have my catalytic converters. In theory you should have more hp with this set up over stock, I have not put my car on a dyno so I wouldn’t know how much more hp from stock
