Im doing a similar setup but with 2x 8" resonators right after my test pipes, a flowfx 2 into 1 2.5" in 3" out muffler and a single chamberd flowmaster 44 muffler at the rear.
I was contemplating doing everything except the borla, because I have stock cats and SCS said that if I have stock cats and do both mid muffler and resonators. That it would sound pretty close to stock. But from the sounds of this video, still sounds a little louder and better than stock. What are your thoughts?
I feel like the scs doesn’t have enough growl. Feel like a muffler delete has more

does this set up have drone in the cabin?
At low rpm it does drone a bit
@@isaiasmeza620 What you showed in your video is everything that I purchased but the shop is telling me I need other pipes to make it work. Is this true? Did you need any other pipes aside form this?
@@karenyoung5317 what other pipes are they telling you that you need? Everything in the video is what I used, the shop used their own 2.5” pipe to weld everything together
2.5 in to 4in tips btw. Not just straight 2.5 in tips 😅

So how did you tell the mechanic shop to set this up And also do you have other links for the borla muffler and the flex pipe ? Looks like the links in description don’t work for those two.
You can show the shop this video and show the finished product where I show underneath the car. Speedculture studios on RUclips has a more in depth video with pictures. And google borla universal pro xs muffler 400286 for the exact one that I used. For the flex pipe any 2.5” flex pipe will do the job

Hey man, so you have nothing else done to the car in this video? No test pipes or anything? I wasn’t sure how it’d sound with stock cats because I need to pass emissions in my state unfortunately
This setup is just the cat back, everything else stock
I’ll do test pipes and Borla xs and muffler delete if I don’t like it I’ll add something just to make it more deep sound

Just a frost, I believe he swaps out a part that’s frosted

Is this with stock pipes and stock cats? I have a 3.7 awd and I did a muffler delete with berk hfcs and stock resonators but might change it cause of the drone and trumpet sound.

Hello sir, I also installed all the exhausts as per SCS, have you ever encountered that at 2000-3000 rpm, the car becomes like a big metal phone with vibration mode on?

How did you get the diffuser to stick? Can’t get it to stick for my life. tried 3m, gorilla tape, prewipe with alcohol. Only thing i didn’t do is use a adhesive prep spray but i doubt it would of made a difference
What i did to help it stick was scuff up the paint a little bit where the diffuser goes to make the surface more rough so it can stick better, used scotch brite or sand paper that’s not so aggressive
I used both 3M and bolts lol

Front lip is from stillen, and diffuser is from vicrez.com
Bro just wanna know if this how it goes exactly cats/test pipes connects to flange with gasket in the middle of flange and cats welded to the flex pipe with 2.5 pipping welded to borla with 2.5 pipping welded to flow fx into upower tips?

Quick question bro they seem to be out of the flanges from eBay do you know where else I can get some it’s the only thing I’m missing for this setup on my 3.7
I’m not finding an exact match but I’m sure an exhaust shop would have that missing piece or could fabricate one

They go where the catback would connect to the catalytic converters
