We've always wanted to see Colorado in the fall, and this year we finally had the chance to make it happen. We only had 8 days to travel all the way from Kentucky, but it was worth it! The aspen were beautiful, and the mountain passes on the Alpine Loop were finally snow free! After years of trying, we were even finally able to do Imogene Pass.

RUclips randomly played this video for me after I was watching some (new) Bronco videos & some other Overlanding stuff and I must say, I’m stunned. The fact that you’ve took the effort during your trip to film all of this is outstanding. Your camera work, editing, music, etc are all excellent. I hope you know that all of your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed! *Thank you!*
This video is truly amazing. The editing, English accent, and the insane camera quality makes it feel like I am watching National Geographic
I'm curious, British or Australian?
@@f.ence. His pinky is up when drinking tea, sooo, guessing British
English. Haha. And Dixie.
Yeah an over landing adventure where they puss out and literally throw away meat because a go go gadget they had broke 😶
New Zealand, surely?
I've watched literally 100's of overland/jeep trail videos on RUclips and I have to say that yours was by far the most impressive I've seen to date. I've been on a number of the trails in your video but saw them from a completely different viewpoint through your drone shots. VERY impressive job; keep up the great work!
In January of 2016 I bought a TRD Pro 4runner with almost no experience off roading. It’s been a great time ever since. I’m a classical musician in the National Symphony. My family and I travel around the country overlanding and enjoying America. We just ordered an off road teardrop from Vintage Trailer Works.
Your videos have been a great resource. Very educational. Fantastic content. Inspirational.
Maybe some day we’ll meet up on the trail. If we do, I’m the classical trumpet player that’s a Sasquatch enthusiast.
Best to you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving
Who needs National Geographic? You're a truly gifted cinematographer and storyteller who is taking full advantage of the spectacular scenery. Well done, will watch this again.
This is some of the best drone videography I have seen in an overlanding video, right up there with XO in the Andes. Great job!
I can't sit through most overland videos on RUclips, but I'm hooked for every minute of yours. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! Glad you like them!
100 percent. Love how the scenery does the talking :)
No problem your preaching, people who go into our beautiful state need to respect it and not litter and take care of their 💩, the right way.
Love your use of the drone!!!
Really well done. Music is calming. Dialogue keeps one wanting to keep watching. Keep on doing what you are doing
Incredible drone footage, very cinematic, and an excellent choice in musical score
I have to say your channel is something special. You have some amazing footage and I really enjoy how you have edited it. 👌
Thank you very much!
Without a doubt in my opinion your best video yet! Everything was perfect. The drone footage was spectacular along with the music. Brought back alot of memories from our trip through most of those same areas this summer. Def gotta plan a trip back for the fall! My wife could never grasp through pictures what me and my son experienced on our trip until she saw your video footage. Now she wants to start accompanying us on our overland trips.
Wow, thanks! I really enjoy having my wife along on the trips, so I'm glad yours is interested now!
My daughter and I got back from CO about 3 weeeks ago. We live in Louisville, KY and she just graduated from highschool, so it was a time to spend together before she starts college. We did Engineer Pass, Imogene Pass, Black Canyon and Pikes Peak. We have a 2000 4Runner w/ 225K miles, and it performed like a champ...been in our family since new.
Your videography and drone work really does capture the beauty in a way that photos can't. You really have to see it to understand the scale, but your videos are the next best thing.
I go on everyone of these trails when we go never gets boring love it
Your choreography is amazing . . . truly professional ! Lived at one time in Colorado, after discharge from the USAF - Minot AFB, ND. After eight years in Colorado - Denver, Golden, Boulder & Greeley. . . I returned to the Northeast - Boston. Your views pressure me in taking a second look . . . at that Rocky Mountain High ! 🤗🇺🇸
What an amazing trip!! I don’t always comment, but I do always watch. Cheers
Wow. I can't believe I've never seen this channel until recently. This was movie quality. I've never gone out before but I have to. It's calling me.
Tremendous footage and editing! I was in Colorado probably around that same time. Late September of 20. Brings back great memories. I was on foot mostly but love the footage of the quaking Aspens!
My wife has a 13 trail edition. I'm thinking yours must be similar age and model. Most reliable car we've ever owned. Thanks for the video!
Fantastic trip video. I am used to watching your DIY videos and can now appreciate the usefulness of many of your projects. I have to say your travel videos are well done and worthy of being right there with many of the professional cable shows.
Awesome, thank you!
The music and your videography carries my spirit away, I have watched this too many times and still not enough.
The craftsmanship, the timbers and the size of that mine above creed is something I must see..
Thank you for this.
I think you shot the most beautiful overland video
Your drone shots are amazing mate. I had to get up from the couch and write you this comment. Well done!
Love the footage angles and the background music is very pleasant.. thank you and blessings!
Outstanding video. Keep hammering the idea of recreating responsibly. People shouldn't leave their waste in the woods. There are plenty of products that make it easy to pack out your waste.
Incredible drone footage, very cinematic, and an excellent choice in musical score which really emphasized the dramatic landscapes. Great work!!
you went to most the places i went to this winter, i cant ever go to Colorado without visiting Leadville. however, even though i went to all these places... i went via roads and the million dollar highway in the winter was... yeah an experience lol.
Whoa! Colorado has always been a State that I wanted to visit! Thankyou kindly for your hard work, bringing this to the world!
YES, I would love to see it again...
Amazing video! The camera work was so good, it almost felt like I was there! Also, kudos to the wife for driving. My wife would never be able to handle even being a passenger getting that close to the edge lol. Thanks again!
Thanks! She enjoys it, but she also drives so I can video!
Amazing video. Beautiful music. Thank you!
Amazing! That drone work and music! Would love to explore that way one day. Unreal.
Dont put it off
OHHHH yeah dude Sprinter Van, sooo sick,
When it comes to Overland video's yours are the most awe inspiring on RUclips and I can watch them 100 times over. They truly are works of art!
I'm waiting for the 2022 Tacoma's to hit the dealerships in November and hope to have it ready by the end of 2022 for a 2 month National Park excursion. If all goes well I'm hoping to end my vacation in the aspen's of Colorado. Keep putting out your incredible content! Thanks
I'm a full time Nomad, and Overlander...and this dude still inspires me lol.
Another great video my friend.
I really need to go spend about 6 months in Colorado. Maybe I'll do that early next year 👍
Man what an awesome trip! Looked like an amazing adventure and that was some great drone footage too. Thanks for sharing!
Nice job. Enjoy your photography and your great music. Peaceful to listen to. Keep up the good work.
Great stuff. This video just confirms my need to move to Colorado that much more. Drone footage is amazing, glad it made it out of the tree unscathed!!!
The cinematography and music in this are inspirational. Makes me want to get back out on the trails. Can't wait for spring!
Watch this video on your big screen tv if u can, the drone shots are just spectacular
Dont know why it took so long to come across your video but glad I got the chance to see it, your drone work(offers a completely different perspective from the seat of my motorcycle) is impeccable, music editing ... very well done. I love my trips to Colorado, been to some of the areas that you showed but now I see there are more to explore, Thanks
Great video. You were in my neck of the woods or relatively close. Thanks awesome video skills. Tell your wife she did awesome navigating the terrain.
Totally wicked video thanks for taking us along.
Your music selection is great. Love all of them.
I got to visit Colorado this fall, and I fell in love with the mountains, I saw God ever where, THE Bible says if we people don't praise HIM! the rocks would. And they are, ever day shouting GOD YOUR WONDERFUL I LOVE YOU!!!😇
Great video man. Those little classic stoves are great and will serve you well. what I will say is that the regulators go bad/get clogged with all the driving that we do and dust that gets in them. Also in lower temperatures I've had the propane in the line freeze and had to wait till thaw.
That regulator had been used maybe twice, so I'm a little annoyed that it went bad. I did want an excuse to get a new stove though!
I know this is an older video, but get yourself a roll of .032 stainless safety wire and a pair of safety wire pliers for your tool kit. You can use that stuff for missing bolts, hose clamps, or even safety a nut or two in place! Handy stuff
Your drone work is great!
What type of drone did you use??
Beautiful views and the video was very very nice.
Well brother practice does make perfect. Your music with your drone footage is spot on...great stuff!!
Well done videography and music.......very much enjoyed and just Subscribed.
Finally snow free😄😄😄Lucky guy we had some years when there was the first snow on Aust 18th!!! Summer in this years was short= the first Monday in July
That was breathtaking, and you did a great job on capturing all that!!
Great video quality. Nice drone footage!
Great vid, bro. Like the fact thats 44 min, it allows me to join you in your journey, beautiful vid, thanks. 👍👍👍
We are very glad that you continue to show and share the PLACES you are visiting and have not fallen into the rut other channels have of imitating a cooking channel. Keep adventuring and please keep sharing!
Beautiful trip. Excellent balance of trails, scenery and commentary.
your videos are very nice, showed wide open view of thoses land scenery , best I've ever seen
these videos are incredible I love them thank you for sharing them
You may find that cycling the regulator fixes it your stove problem.
You may try this procedure from any condition:
Close the tank valve.
Open the stove valve (turn the burner on)
Close the stove valve (turn the burner off)
Open the tank valve
Open the stove valve (start the stove.)
Regulators have a diaphragm that gets stuck on extra low flow if you open the stove valve before opening the gas valve.
This is my interpretation over the years, over several different systems, it seem to work every time.
Maybe this helps if it happens again.
Thanks for the video!
Awesome! Colorado is amazing!
0:49 Propane pressure regulators have an over pressure safety (LOW FLOW) mode they get "tripped" into if you try and open the gas too quickly, especially if the stove burner valve is already open before you open the main tank valve. You can easily reset the regulator valve back to normal by shutting off all the valves, SLOWLY opening the main tank valve, and then open the burner valve to light it.
Thanks, I’ll give that a go! The weird thing is that it worked just fine for 5 minutes or so, but wouldn’t work after that. I may have had the burner on too high.
One of the most enjoyable video I have seen in a long time! I felt like I was in those mountains.... nice 👍🏼 epic thanks for this vid 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
The best video I've watched. 🇺🇲♥️
This video is the most stunning footage I've ever seen of Colorado!!! I live here and never seen it the way you published it!!!! This is an amazing channel, I was on the edge of my seat wanting more. I'm hooked on your channel!!! Simply amazing!!!!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
I will always feel like this place is home. I've been on many of those roads or many very similar. Such memories and great choice of sound track, great video footage too. That's a lot of work. As evidenced by the drone crash lol
Beautifully done! Thanks to you both.
Once again, Bravo!
Amazing trip and video! Thank you for taking us along and sharing!
Great video. Remember this area was Mexico first. Medano Pass is pernounced more like Madona, the singer
I asked some locals about the pronunciation and just copied what they said!
Colorado, awesome State and state of mind!
Great cinematography!
On my fourth time watching this. One of the best videos I’ve ever seen !!
Awesome! Thanks!
What an amazingly well done video......bravo! Thank you so much for creating this!
Amazing work!
I've had issues with those adaptor lines too, they have a ball in there or some kinda valve that's is a real pita to get working sometimes. Smashing it on a rock a few times salved it till I replaced it with a better line. Love seeing the video of places I've been and planning on going, I miss Colorado.
All these places are in my back yard. Can't wait to get out and explore them. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for your encredible good video from your travel through Colorado in the authumn, no doubt about that you make the best and most serious travelvideos. I think that some parts of Colorado can be like some mountain areas in Norway. I have to lay much in the bed and your travelvideos is just like I'm traveling myself. Thanks again from Norway. Best Regards from Arne
Beautiful! Love the drone footage, especially the mines!
Love the drone shots, nice editing!
Black Bear Pass is a different kind of beauty. It's beautiful, and it's terrifying in parts, but overall it's a MUST-DO trail. Use a spotter on the really tight switchbacks and you'll be fine.
Just love your videos. I watch them over and over again. Thank you 😊
Absolutely stunning footage! This makes me even more excited to travel this state. Thank you for sharing and commenting all the places you visited!
Loved your perspectives and the music tracks. VERY ENJOYABLE.
keep up the amazing work! you have some really nice editing and drone footage. near top gear quality stuff
Great video and footage of my home state! I loved the drone footage. Well done chap! 👍🏻

We did this same route: beautiful and thanks for taking us back
Very nicely done!
So awesome, thank you for putting in the time and editing. Can't wait to get out there next year, CO on my mind. lol
Great video! Wonderful views
I suffered from migraines once. It’s painful. Dr. Removed foods with nitrates from my diet. No more headaches. Michigan
You have a knack for making some great content. Love this channel!
Beautiful, thanks for sharing. We are hoping to make it out there next summer
