Give this man his own show...finally a refreshingly sarcastic drunkard in the vein of Bourdain...enough with the over-edited drone shots and wannabe Instagram models. If you have personality, you don’t need superfluous editing; just a quick wit and love of gastronomy. You sir are a true gourmand!
Matthew Brennan Well this might be the nicest comment I ever got. And also you hit the nail on the head. The only reason I make the videos in this way - though sure I’d love a drone and a fancy camera haha - is because of people like, and mostly because of, a certain Bourdain. Thanks again man
mate i am here now and have been to nearly every place you went to absolutely brilliant love what you do !! best vids shame the little vermouth bar closed 😭😭 but the paella place was the best place i have ever eaten at !! and the snorkelling around there is beautiful !
We’re visiting Mallorca in a few days and I’m desperately trying to find authentic food places! Hopefully all these places are still open even after 5 years. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed it!
Not sure about your experience since you're probably back after 11 days, but I was staying in Cala Millor 3 weeks ago. Terrible food. We tried eating out for 3 days. Always so bad. Only the beer was decent. Ended up eating at the hotel restaurant for the next 4 days after that. We did eat the potato pastries in Valdemossa, that was ok. Nothing to celebrate here though. Sangria, let's be honest, nothing fancy but ok. I think the best thing I ate there was a fuet that I bought from a street vendor in Arta. A raw sausage with mold being the best food I had in Mallorca. That should say enough (jokingly though, these raw molded sausaged are good as hell).
Well this an unbelievably envy-inducing food and wine odyssey, isn't it? The setting for the restaurant with that tuna dish and the spread at the winery, wow. I knew next to nothing about Mallorca prior to seeing this, but now I have to go. Yum. Great job, Luke.
Ben Green Gracias majo! Yeah. I had no idea either. Just that it had sea and mountains. Blew me away. Really want to go back. I should probably diet now.
Ensaimada has pig fat in it which can smell and taste quite raw. Sobrasada is cured and not cooked, so also essentially raw. Not sure if you mentioned trampo, but that is nice if fresh and not overbaked. It´s a little bit like a thin vegetarian pizza without cheese. Fuet that is edged with black pepper is quite nice with wine. Oh wait, you did mention trampo. You are so right about the date wrapped in bacon. That is exactly what it tastes like.
Sorry to say… but the proper place for coca de patata in Valldemossa would be Can Molines. Capuccino is good, but you will never see a local guy there 😅
...ok, I'm living vicariously watching all your videos (mind, I have been to Mallorca). I'd like to think I'd be a real champ and keep up with you on the drinks front - heck I'd do my best! Gracias Tony
Nice video. Seems there is so much to eat here. My bf and I made a little food vlog from our trip here too. I’m gunna put it on my YT tomorrow. Would love to hear your thoughts. 😊
Miam! A shame that Mallorca is under water, like Spain, like Dubai, like Saoudi Arabia, like China.... Actually the whole earth is facing disaster and nobody to tell us... Definitely something biblical is happening...

That tuna dish looked amazing!! Oh, also the wild oyster mushroom dish...dang! Thanks for showing us around the food and drink scene. 😊🍷
Yeah! The food there was pretty darn good. The wines are lovely little things too, though not that cheap or easy to find. I want to go back right now!
Great video. Love the humour

Cheers!
Great fun and enjoyable video, i plan to be there soon
Daniela Abril You’ll love it!!
Excellent 👍👌 😊
What a funny and great video! Very well done!
We have watched this so many times 😂 you look so young in it now 😜
Good!👌
How long does it take to walk from the parking to the Sa Foradada and do we need to book?
It was four years so I can’t really remember; 30 mins tops. Booking would be smart as you don’t want to get there and have there not be space.
" wine is good! " I love you Steve : D
Bernadette Clarke Steve loves you too!
The line "it tastes like a date wrapped in bacon" is probably one of the funniest things I have ever heard online.
At minute 7:40, what is the music played in your car?
Sorry to say… but the proper place for coca de patata in Valldemossa would be Can Molines. Capuccino is good, but you will never see a local guy there 😅
Maybe not. But for a quick coffee stop and a bun it was perfectly fine.

tonydeltablues I expect video proof Tony!
Your video is very good. Where is the restaurant you ate the paella?
Sa Foradada is a peninsula in the Sierra de Tramontana de Mallorca, which is located in the municipality of Deyá.
Benvingut a Mallorca company !
El paio aquest, s'ha begut i menjat mitja illa. Benvingut a Mallorca company.
Ca'n Joan de S' Aigo well done!
Nice video. Seems there is so much to eat here.
My bf and I made a little food vlog from our trip here too. I’m gunna put it on my YT tomorrow. Would love to hear your thoughts. 😊
Nice
Right... seems expensive for an ordinary tourist :D
It was all pretty affordable. In Spain as long as you don't sit on a sunny square everything's pretty cheap.
Nice videos....emphasize a little more on the food and travel info..
give it 1 yr. Shorter videos are in demand
Khondker Rifat Hossain Thanks! Demand and shortness don’t interest me. Every video will be as long as it is ;)
Somehow I knew it it's made by British
Restaurant critic who doesn’t’ purchase his silverware appropriately displays the touch of a amateur...!
Long live the amateurs
Why luxus?
Rich guy.
You missed pa amb oli
Can’t do everything 🤷🏼♂️

none of these are healthy recommendations
And…?
What's your point?
