This was so over the top incredible. James and Yoly you are the number one best food vloggers. You would make Anthony Bourdain proud. Thank you for this!
Valencia is my dream city to move to and your video added another tantalizing layer onto why I can't wait to live life there! Your authentic convos with locals were so fascinating and seemed like they really captured the spirit of the culture. I love love love both of your personalities and how you interact with everyone with so much sincerity and curiosity! 🥘
Sin desmejorar el resto de vuestros videos, os habéis superado, este es el mejor video del canal. ¡Que ganas de ir a Valencia tengo ahora! Simplemente una maravilla.
I used to stop for an almuerzo when out with my off-road motocycling pals in the mountains of the Sierra de Mariola. Never managed more than a medio bocadillo, caña and some olives. Sepia's my favourite. Great video!
As a vegan, I can tell you I nearly fainted at the sight of all the meat choices for the bocadillos at El Rei de l'Esmorçaret. Although, I must say it was a lot of fun to watch you guys give it the old college try and attempt the unthinkable with all the amazing food that was put in front of you. That place makes Subway sandwich shops in the US seem like child's play. Good Lord!
Incredible! I’m stuffed just watching this program. Looking forward to a trip to Spain in October. Valencia is one of the cities we’ll be visiting. THANK YOU!
What a video this is, I F'ing love Valencian cooking having visited Xabia for so long and cook so much at home, you two have such a natural way to eat and portray your enjoyment of that said thing without acting or becoming a character! Wonderful in depth researching and journalism. Thank you for putting culinary Espana back where it belongs! The Forefront!
My wife and I have been living in Valkencia for over 2 years now and we are always trying to dicscover new places to eat. Thank you so much for this video! We will be trying out all of them!
My husband and I loved this video. Can't wait to get back up to Valencia to try some new places to eat. We went to Tasca Angel 3 times the last time we were there. Thank you
I live in Valencia and didn't know about some of these places. Cafe Madrid is a beautifully decorated place and the cocktails there are amazing. Boquerones are also one of the first things that I enjoyed eating in Spain. This is a great video and it is good that you got to Valencia and showcased our food. You looked like you had fun here.
I’m amazed you were at Nuevo Oslo! I’m sort of a regular there and it’s absolutely class. The daily menu for 11€ is just amazing in terms of sheer quality of the product. Good service, great food and Raul!
Great video of Valencian food. I lived there for six years. When I took my husband to Valencia years later, his favorite were tellinas. Yummy. Horchata con fartons- so good!!
Just finishing off 3 weeks doing the Spain tour heavily inspired by your videos. Wow....what a country! We have quality produce in Australia but the food/wine scene in Spain is next level! I don't want to go home! Thanks for your great tips for Barcelona, San Sebastian, Madrid, Seville (wow), Grenada and Valencia! What a great country!
OMG - this is one of my favourite videos that you two have done…thank you!! I was in Catalunya in October/November and this video has me craving a trip to Valencia. It’ll have to wait though…I’m booked for Peru in May, and have a lunch reservation at Virgilio Martínez’s Central
Great video! I will be in Valencia one week in june. Ostras Pedrin is now on my list & I took good note of the dishes you ate elsewhere. This video was a marvellous way to start a sunday morning in Canada. Let me dream! Hasta luego.
As a Finn, watching this is just plain absurd. Our food culture is light years away from the Spanish, or anything southern Europe. Im making sure to visit Spain, preferrably Valencia one day 😍
Oh yes!! Valencia is a treat! And the people are so very friendly. The public transport is fantastic and very cheap. The food is amazing, I think Valencia is like Bologna in Italy, it's THE City of food. 😋
Live the vermouth section. I never had vermouth until I went to Spain last September. I had it every day while I was there! (7 days) different ones everyday! I loved it! Can't wait to go back to Spain and try more vermouth!
I spent a summer in Alicante with a Spanish family when I was growing up. Out of all the outstanding food, it was the Horchata de chufas that I loved the most. There was a little shop down the street that sold them along with pepitas and other snacks. I was there every day...
Ostrava Perrin… words can not describe this gem! We had oysters, canned sardines and the smoked sturgeon. We also had the house made vermouth..Worth every bite!
Thanks... so many things my mother used to make that I have forgotten about. AND I noticed you are eating the paella with a spoon directly from the pan. Only thing missing is the bota de vino, but that is more of en el camp.
Es increíble lo completos y bien documentados que son tus videos. Deberías de doblarlos también al español porque nos sirve a muchos locales a entender y descubrir lugares y comidas de nuestras ciudades
I have only been to Valencia once and do remember a good meal there, but you have blown what little cover Valencia might still have had as a culinary capital. I'm still in a food coma from just watching, not even following you around and eating all that incredible food myself. Since I will be in Valencia later this year, I will follow some of your footsteps but have to stretch what you and Yoly ate in 3 days to extend to maybe a week! It's so much fun to watch Yoly's expression when she tastes something really good. She has no poker face when it comes to food. The yum is written all over. Thanks for making this video. Like others have noted, your food blogging is becoming as epic as the places you go and the meals you eat with so much happiness.
Wow, just wow! What a video you guys. Lovely to see the three of you. Wow - amazing content. But I guess you know it's good stuff: the people, the tradition, the evolution, the food... I should be going to bed as I've a very busy day tomorrow but I had to drink a sherry (Amontillado) and watch till the end. Bless you, I really enjoy and reminisce a family holiday and paella pilgrimage to Valencia. Best Tony
I’m amazed James and delighted of course with your videos. I’m in the Pyrenees mountains Spain and you speak Spanish without an accent. Very impressive 👍😂😂
James and Yoly, thank you for portraying the spanish food culture in such a beautiful way! Your videos made my dream of moving to Spain very real. Last summer my boyfriend and I went to Andalucia and we loved it so much! Thanks to you, we ate soooo much good food!
An epic video James, probably my favorite food tour video you’ve ever done and that’s saying something! Love when you guys travel to different areas outside of Madrid
Galicia has seriously amazing food, my Spanish mates took 4days off to show me around, there is a Tortilla restaurant just out of the city, that only serves Tortillas, nothing else. So good, I remember going to a Spanish restaurant in Nelson once, sparked my love of Spanish food.

I was in Valencia last September, what a wonderful city. So many places to visit but not enough time. That Agua de Valencia really packs a punch 😅🥴 Great video, thanks 🙏🏻
Re-visiting all your videos as I am planning my 4 week trip to Spain . I would be very grateful if you could give a ball park figure of how much you spent and what month of the year you went. I need to figure out which child I’d have to sell to afford this amazing trip 😂😂😂

I've been to Valencia quite a few times and always enjoyed it. We were in one of the little bars on the beach and asked the guy whether he had Aqua de Valencia. He laughed, nodded to the sea and said 'Help Yourself!' So we had Gin Tonica and a few beers. Our genial host brought out a plate of mussels and then clams. And we were happy. Very happy.
