Just one comment: You should have taken the time to detail clean every single accessible part during the reassembly process. The car's basically new, it should be as clean as new inside and out. Even in the hidden areas.
Vlad, to say ‘don’t go no where’ is a double negative, meaning, to go somewhere! So you are telling everyone not to watch! The spray painter was a true professional so well done him. Such a superb job. Give him a pay rise. And I agree with a previous comment, you really should clean all the hidden parts. For some people it’s not what is on view but what is hidden. I had an extension built to my house and the builder was so diligent and professional he actually pointed the bricks in the cavity! No one would ever see it, but he knew it was done properly. That level of detail is what you should be aiming for. David Kindig wouldn’t accept dirty parts. So neither should you.
Beautiful car and nice work on your part, but where's the final cost wrap up? That's usually the piece I enjoy the most at the end of these videos, and I'd really like to know what this one cost the new owner in the end.
If I didn't see all the video's I would not have believed it was the same car keep up the fantastic work as long as you have a you tube channel you got me as a viewer love you work ✌👍
Again an excellent job done from you Dr. Vlad! Congrats! Greetings from Germany, in fact I live only around 80 km away from Stuttgart Zuffenhausen were this Beauty was assembled in Porsche Headquarter and Factory for the 911 Series
Another great video. It amazes me how you know how to strip all those cars and more importantly put them back together! I know you've done a lot of Porsches but 992's must be a bit different? Good work! Full send, like nothing ever happened ;)
Wow great work LNC. Keep them coming and thanks for this one. I own a 992 S in white so really interesting to see you take the car sort. Cheers from still sunny London
I had my doubst about the paintjob, it looked like a color difference , but in the daylight it looks good! ( i'm ex colormaker in the 80's) Keep up the good job! Greetings from the Netherlands
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 very weird color if you look at the front bumper and the rear bumper on the video inside of the shop it look slightly different color even on the drivers side... outside with my iPhone 11 looks perfect 🤷🏻♂️
Love your work. What would the additional cost be if instead of Bondo, one just replaced those two panels? What was the overall out the door cost of the car plus all repairs, parts? And once retitled, is the car fully covered by the factory warranty?
Prohibitive, thats most likely why they wrote it. The customer (rightly so) probably refused a brand new car repaired with filler so they wrote it off.
MarksBikeExports I doubt that’s the reason they wrote it off, the panels wouldn’t cost anywhere the 2/3rds of the value of the car, which typically is what it takes to write off. Chances are the car wasn’t titled yet and the dealer couldn’t sell it as new or register it like that, so writing it off was probably the only option they had.
@@E..M.. agree. In my state, retitling after repairs isn't too difficult, still wondering how manufacturer would deal with warranty after re-titling....
I like how cars in America have ‘fenders’ whereas in the UK they have quarter panels, ‘wings’ and wheel arches :-) Edit: Vlad, you do a lot of things right mate, but ‘full send’ red-line a car with just 45 miles on the clock is not one of them.
The car needs to follow a "run-in" procedure where the vehicle must not do over 4k rpm (in normal traffic conditions, no highway use) for the first 1,200 miles and not use "launch control" till at least 1,800 miles...hope the engine and PDK aren't toast.
Crazy system with the titles over there in the US. Some cars are really badly damaged and still have a clean title and this one with minor cosmetic damage has a salvage title. Pretty sure if this happened while on a test drive the dealer would have it repaired and sold as brand new over here in Europe. Maybe if it was a real honest dealer they would tell the customer and offer a slight discount since it's no longer 100% factory new, but I'm sure a lot of dealers (Yes, also those who sell premium brands) would sell it just as new.
Lost for words . That came out sweet , LNC never disappoint , amazing work. Vlad I want to ask you one question please. You fix up all these top cars , what do you drive yourself ??? Really like to know ??? ❤️🙏👍what your favourite car ?
Vlad, can you make a video explaining the salvage title vs non salvage title, pro and cons of salvage title, insurance, sales tax, resale, trade in implication of a salvage title.
Thought I had missed the cost breakdown, but looks like he forgot to do that part. Imo, one of the best parts of the build is to know what the customer is into the project for.
I asked him to do a cost breakdown at the end, but he never does for some reason. I think the car was bought for $80k an probably $10k for the damages. The new owner basically stole this car, but it will forever have a salvage title and I wouldn't mind it.
One question Vlad, what is the sensor that you connected at 9:05 on the front wheel liner? Great work as usual Vlad!! My Cayman S was totaled a few months ago a miss it badly. Now driving a Merc SLC300 nice but not a Porsche.
I actually think it was the wet sensor, they’re little sensors in each of the wheel wells to detect water to change the transmission/engine while it’s wet outside
Wow , what a beautiful job you did on this build as usual.
Thanks for sharing.
Richard

I’m working currently on 6 other cars, no time to clean everything single part, that why we hire professional detailer.
It's the detailer's job.

Great job!!!! Amazing what you can do!!!!
Dr Vlad smashes it again. 👌💪💪👊
But what about the PPF on side of the rear quarter did you replace it?
Thank you my friend we install the PPF later

LNC COLLISION & CAR CUSTOMIZATION Haha, no worries. Great video as always, looking forward for what’s coming next!
E M should’ve seen how the customer drove it 😬 like it was stolen 😂
LNC COLLISION & CAR CUSTOMIZATION Did it with love though, right? 😂 Keep it coming mate, loving your work

But is it ready for delivery? You didn't mention if it was. Nah, Vlad you da man. Two thumbs up.
Before watching this video I thought it might be hard working on the 992, not now they are easy to work on, good job Vlad well done I wish you well.

Yeah, I'm sure this happens all the time in workshops but still if I was the owner I would be upset seeing this on RUclips.
@@rogerwilco5187 Yep...Porsche owners are particular in the way in which their vehicles are handled.
Most of the buyers go straight to the freeway after bought the car -))
@@tinoxeco4484 Glad I'm not one of them, follow the run in procedure, change the oil at 1,600 miles and then bed it all in with low rpm high torque
So satisfying to watch these rebuilds. Great work. Do you only do high end cars or mid-range luxury like a A5 or Macan?

Hi did you sold the car before or customer bought like so you can fix it. !!!! Thanks
What a steal!
Well Done on the Repair :)
another awesome video Vlad from you and the team. !

Sounds good
What about breakin cost down part for the car?
Thought I had missed the cost breakdown, but looks like he forgot to do that part. Imo, one of the best parts of the build is to know what the customer is into the project for.
I asked him to do a cost breakdown at the end, but he never does for some reason.
I think the car was bought for $80k an probably $10k for the damages. The new owner basically stole this car, but it will forever have a salvage title and I wouldn't mind it.
@@yass123 I think it was 81.5, but anyway it was not over 90k all in. I wouldn't mind either.
You can have a lot of fun with that car and still probably get most of your money back.
The right tail light has humidity in it 4:41
And race start with a brand new customer‘s car 😏
We told that to the new owner about the taillight, he took the car to Porsche dealer they changed it the by warranty for free. 💪🏼
What a car and it looks as if nothing has happened well done great content and video love from the UK London 🇬🇧 ❤

Vlad, great job as always! When you installed the front right wheel well, you connected a sensor, is that right?! What is it’s purpose?

Actually a sensor to detect water to change the tranny/engine characteristics
