It feels like Nostalgia, but it’s new content!! Having Chris Harris produce his own content again feels great! Him and Neil are a dream team and we are lucky to have them back on our screens. It’s been too long and I’m sure we can all agree that they were missed!
Chris...Please... Please... Don't stop making this content. I (and I'm sure a lot of others) need this, you do not need any co-hosts! Genuinely great, to the point, content. Thank you.
I'm commenting on this because I know from your sit down on JRE you read comments. You were the BEST thing on TG 2.0 and I'm so glad to have you back on CHOC! Welcome home!
First video I ever watched of CH was the Aston Martin video where it starts with Chris in the gym working out his left leg. I was hooked. I watched every single CHOC video I could find. Years later and in my mid 30s, watching this makes me somewhat emotional. It’s like I’m in my 20s again broke and in college dreaming about cars. Way to make us feel, Monkey. We need more of this in the world. Cheers, mate!
Is that Neil on the camera again? Phenomenal angles and editing from that guy. And praise the lords for some CH long form content again, without it being dumbed down. MORE. Go visit Ferrari and Lamborghini, they have so much exciting stuff incoming
I asked AI to do a review in the styles of Catchpole, Harris and Clarkson for some hyperbole. I gave it the fundamentals of the car. The output was a great deal of fun, and spookily convincing. Is a steak pie better than a chocolate brownie? Is Chris better than Henry. I think that I'll have them both!
I was worried at first because if Chris Harris thinks the breakaway is “too sudden” imagine normal people 😅 Beautiful car. It’s like we’re back in the golden age!
He’s back! 🎉 You’ve got a winning automotive formula here. Journalist. Racing driver. Awesome personal vehicles and nerdy passion. 7-8 years ago RUclips wasn’t the place for it. Now it is. Enjoy mate
Good to see you, Monkey! I’m 53 and borderline obsessed with cars. I reckon Astons have nearly always been posh hot rods - the smaller ones at least. This Vantage is such a good looking car, those rear haunches are perfect. I’ll never have one of these, but my goodness I’d love to… Good vid as always mate.
Outstanding review. Lucky enough to drive one a few weeks ago and concur with Chris's report allowing for Chris can really drive and I know my limitations! Car looks fantastic.
A Chris Harris car analysis is poles apart from most of the other car sites. His understanding and passion for cars puts him in a different stratosphere. Looking forward to many more car reviews!
Given I've been on a recent rewatch of your old content, I was in complete shock for 2 seconds when I saw the title, thumbnail, and more than anything, the length. We are so back!
So good to see car reviews again thank you. To the point on looks, power and interior, it will sell the first car, but you will keep switching brands until the chassis works for you. Then you end up buying from the same manufacturer until they mess up the chassis!
Finally back where you belong. With us lot online. You were great on Top gear but I missed Neil's camera work and long format videos. We're glad you're Chris.
this video makes me forget about all the other car content. no effects no bullshit. chris harris driving, talking and its shot from right angles. thats all we need. thank you sir.
Brother, i remember sending you a message congratulating you when top gear rumors started swirling. Im glad for your success on TG but man this is where you belong. It shows, your back in your rhythm. We love you brother, welcome back!!!
The return of the king! Good to have you back Chris, being missing this type of automotive journalism. Now the only thing we need is a joint video of you and Henry Catchpole 👌
Chris has always had a an uncanny ability to describe how a car FEELS like to drive. He just cuts straight to the chase, no historical narrative on the history of the brand or other fluff that I already know. I always get this feeling that it is content made by a car nerd for car nerds. Welcome back Monkey! You have been missed!
So nostalgic yet once again refreshing to see Chris doing what he does best and reviewing cars the way he wants to . EVER since CHRISHonCars has been MIA . Watching old videos was the next best thing ! Watching other channels reviews is like I’m reading from a magazine or being read an article …on the other hand a video from ChrisH feels more like a mate taking you on a joyride in his New (in this case )Aston Martin … Sadly there’s not many actual OG magazine editors who does RUclips videos full /part time left .. ppl like Chris H & Steve Sutcliffe etc.. seeing a new video from them is like receiving your bonus at the end of the year:- Rarely happens but when it does your over the moon …! So once again if CHRIS turns back on PATREON … to have Chris-on cars back even a few 2-3 vidoes a month .. I for one are happy to donate again! Cheers CHRIS
I'm loving the balance of performance track stuff, coupled with the geeky technical elements (which I prefer). It's nice to see the cars drift and slide but I truly enjoy learning about the technical intricacies of the cars engines, suspension and aero... Thanks Mr Harris nice to have you back in full flow
BBC please consider a show just with Chris, not only showing us driving video but going inside to interview the engineers from the car companies. Chris has a wonderful way of connecting with the engineers and you can tell they respect him in return.
You do realise its next-to impossible for a show like that to make any financial sense for something like the BBC? Chris is only marketable to those that are already well-aware of who is he and what hes best at. and thats not as many people as you'd hope. The BBC would want high viewing figures for 1/20 the production cost of TG. Id also love such a show, but "BBC's CHOC" would be resigned to iplayer only after one season because only his existing audience would watch. sorry to be a downer but I just think us fans of Chris and old TG etc get a little carried away/underestimate just how niche our love for cars/motoring truly is.
Good to have you back Chris! Now do us all a favor and grab yourself a nice Manual Camaro ZL1/1LE around a test track. As someone who loves the Z/28 - I'm sure you will love it even more! Just make sure the darn thing is dialed on track camber and SEND IT!
Sneeze. I rewound that a handful of times. Watching the Master at work! Also the handshake after six axis accelerometer. Love it. very balanced and convincing journalism for a rad car.
Not surprising really. Your roads are empty with no rain to churn them up, whereas the UK is mental busy where you can’t really enjoy cars like this. Gracias
Just start driving all the ones we love Chris. On road and track please quite sideways on both. 430 Scud, 675 LT, E39 M5, F355, 997 GT3RS. A modern classics series from you would be largely viewed
Dear Chris,
I missed Your videos
Good to have You back 🎉
CHOC is back!!!
One of the best news to come out of the car industry for a long time. Finally Chris is back to his car journalist days 🎉
I just love how for the past two decades Chris just reunites with Niel to make his masterpieces
My first thought when I saw the video
Anyone know why Chris left Collecting Cars? I only assumed he'd left, never heard an explanation
We like CHOC and especially when there’s an ICE in the car….CHOC ICE!
It feels like Nostalgia, but it’s new content!! Having Chris Harris produce his own content again feels great! Him and Neil are a dream team and we are lucky to have them back on our screens. It’s been too long and I’m sure we can all agree that they were missed!
Feels like the good times of circa 2014!
Mate, this could be the biggest automotive channel on RUclips...don't ever stop again.
Return of the King
Long live the King!!!!
No, Two Towers.
This is the Chris we all wanted but were not sure we'd ever see again. He's back!
I’m so happy your back Chris! No gimmicks, just the pure organic love for cars and creating car content, exactly what everyone wants! ❤
SAME
Chris Harris, Henry Catchpole and Harry Metcalfe all on youtube, producing car content. Life is good.
The perfect combo right here.
You forgot Sam from Seen Through Glass… 😏
They need to do a joint video
@@adamgreen7291 What a fun variation in personality they'd have!
Ohhh how I’ve waited for this content to return… for many. Many years! 🎉
Chris...Please... Please... Don't stop making this content. I (and I'm sure a lot of others) need this, you do not need any co-hosts! Genuinely great, to the point, content. Thank you.
Good to have you back Sir Harris of Skidbury 👏
After all these years, I never unsubscribed. It’s like I knew deep down he’d be back!
I immediately tried to find the subscribe button and realised I was still subscribed from before.
Very happy
Waited 7 years for this channel to return. Finally.
About bloody time welcome home Mr Harris.
I'm commenting on this because I know from your sit down on JRE you read comments. You were the BEST thing on TG 2.0 and I'm so glad to have you back on CHOC! Welcome home!

Bravo Mr Harris, thank you for bringing back a childhood favorite

Aston Martin has a lot of absolutely brilliant cars these days. Incredibly good looking. They all are.
A tear has been shed when this channel re-crossed my feed after several years of absence.
Finally the BEST motor journalist is BACK!!!!🥰
The ABSOLUTE BEST...
Nah... Henry Catchpole at Hagerty.
@martynrollinson Catchpole is, indeed, very, very good.
He is top tier, no doubt.
Is he 'the best' though?
@@martynrollinson No! He's good but you can't hear him half the time.
This clip could NOT come out of BBC. Thank God Youre Back!!!
Why ever not?
Chris Harris reviews are more than BBC worthy.
@@africanotomotiv The BBC is not worthy of Chris.
@@astronmr20 fair comment...
I was worried at first because if Chris Harris thinks the breakaway is “too sudden” imagine normal people 😅
Beautiful car. It’s like we’re back in the golden age!
Thank God .. Chris is back to what he do best and know best !! No need for silly co-hosts !!! Good to see you Chris !!
That engineer talks well. Really enjoy listening to him. Geeky stuff brought across in an engaging and eloquent way!
UK has outdone yourself on this car. In my view the most beautiful car launched in 2024. Its amazing.
Im so upset that they are so expensive in Sweden.....😑
Chris, I'm so happy you're back doing what you were born to be doing!
Thank you so so much for this, Chris. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your return to form here.
Chris is BACK!!!!! Good to have Chris giving his honest opinion on cars again, and the power slides never get old!

Good vid as always mate.
I get weak at these knees with one of these and the DBS Supeleggera and the VH platform V12 manual DBS. Sublime engineering
@@peanuts2105 agreed. I’ve never driven one but would jump at the chance.
I remember the good ole days of CHOC like 2013-2014. I was always looking forward to posts. Thanks for bringing it back Chris!!
Fantastic to have you back doing what you do best ! Just need you and Harry to do a joint video. ❤
The most honest automitive journalist Is back! 👍👍
Saw the name of the channel. Instantly subscribed. Chris is the analogue, organic, salt of the earth car guy we all admire. Welcome back sir!
Outstanding review. Lucky enough to drive one a few weeks ago and concur with Chris's report allowing for Chris can really drive and I know my limitations! Car looks fantastic.
Always a level deeper than anyone outside of Cammisa. Welcome back Mr. Harris.
Catchpole?
Catchpole is the GOAT
A Chris Harris car analysis is poles apart from most of the other car sites. His understanding and passion for cars puts him in a different stratosphere. Looking forward to many more car reviews!
Chris Harris on cars returns what a treat, genuine pleasure to watch
Loving it, these kind of reviews are so engaging. Well done Chris Harris and just as important the production team.
I like the look & sound of the car... But the pricetag, MADNESS...
Thank you for what you do Chris. Life is better when CHOC is uplaoded
Good to see Chris giving us a technical breakdown a car’s dynamics.
Love this type of video! 👍👍
Welcome back! Thanks for giving us your unique take on all things cars! Wishing you continued success and fun on this channel

The Collecting Cars Gillet was surprising....
… a bit of birds muck by the look of it 😂
Shows you how long ago this was filmed lol
Read the description - it was filmed before he left CC.
What happen with Chris and collecting cars?
Don't mention the Gillette 😅😂
It's amazing to have you back, Chris & Co!
We've missed you. ❤
Big fan of Chris. Superb camera work, fantastic narration, no pointless fluff. Well done! also good to see you wearing a helmet, safety first

Mr Harris, I have followed your work for a good 10 years and amso glad to see you back doing your own thing. No one does it like you.
Not even a huge Aston Martin fan but I clicked this video so fast. Miss these types of reviews
