The terrain in New Zealand reminds me a lot of the Pacific Northwest Salish Sea area where I live. I LOVE those New Zealand tree ferns, I wonder If I could grow one in my climate?
THANKYOU GOD🌈🌎😍😍 LOVE YOU CAPTAIN JAMES!! THIS JOURNEY OF NEW ZEALAND ANCHORAGES IS SOOTHING TO WITNESS AND BRINGS ME. A PEACE THAT IS SO MANDATORY FOR ME TO SEE AND VIRTUALLY BE WITH YOU DURING THIS TURBULENT CHAOTIC SAD TIME IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW. THANKYOU ENDLESSLY FOR REMINDING ME OF THE MAJESTY, PEACE AND BEAUTY OF GODS CREATION 🌈🌎💋💋❤️❤️😍😍💎💎 LOVE YOU ✍️
Thanks for the video James. As always, beautiful. I like the way you have the rope and the round piece of wood on your shrouts. I would like to do the same. Any way to look online as to how to do that?
Hi James, when is your woman going to join you on your boat? I think it’ll be good for you to have someone with you to enjoy these places. I know you enjoy it by yourself but it’s always a bit more fun having someone with you. Keep up the good work always enjoyed it a Videos Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Hi great video, did you know you are not allowed to anchor in the west coast bays of the Barrier except for Fitzroy due to there bing a noxious weed in the sea floor cheers
These days for foul weather gear I use Mustang Survival gear, really quality stuff. And I wear tons of tech shirts from various companies, anything with long sleeves , a hood and a noted UV rating
Bad anchorage: (excuse the spelling) "In the Maramoo Winds at Rangey Rooah in the Tooamotos." I'll have to look that up, missed that vid. Take care dude, good vibes your way, Crackerjack.
Isn’t Great Barrier Island one of the locations of that’s seaweed infestation that’s killing all the life by smothering the ocean floor? Did you drive on it?
Aotea Island is an awesome cruising destination. So many anchorages. Also, the surf beaches on the eastern side are stunning as well. did you visit Tryphena at the southern end of the island. Great little community there.
I fished a ton and didn’t catch fish most of the time, the waters are very over fished and I don’t want smelly fresh bait on my boat. I have an episode coming up where I caught a Kahawai
i live on waiheke and kawhai are easy to catch. troll the very common white plastic lure off the back when sailing.i just use a cord handline its easier to handle. bleed kawhai straight away and they are great to eat.@@SailorJames
The best RUclips sailing channel. No dingbats showing T&A🎉Just straight forward solo sailing ❤

Once again, very cool and interesting thanks for taking us there with you😐😐😐
It's important to read a book or watch a DVD movie, or listen to a CD. to get your mind of Sailing for a bit out there !

Magnific video... Anda Maori songs?......
James, I've noticed you use diffrent gear (clothing) in your travels. As a newb I'd appericate your thoughts on clothing and what works for you.

Did you drive on it?
Yes it is and I talk about it in the video. I was there in October and there weren’t as many restrictions then

No because there is was an anchoring ban pretty much everywhere except Port Fitzroy back when I visited
@@SailorJames Oh thats right...The dreaded Caulerpa algae.
