I’ve been following you for quite some time and standing back now I see 145 THOUSAND subscribers. All without the use of string bikinis, click bait, gratuitous feet shots or shameless product endorsements. WOW.
He's Having FUN , that's what keeps this alive , do you remember when james was Fixing the engine and was covered in oil , and someone said " Your living the Dream " and he Replied " F the Dream" 🤣, I still laugh at that now . 😂
@@SailorJames my intention is not to offend you. I’ve been watching you since you left California I’ve noticed a transition from a really good sailing channel to a good travel channel. Your channel got me interested because of your insight on. The Water. Current. Wind. Just in general sailing in it self. By the way you and Ronda have good presence I wish the both of you all the luck.
That view from the top was amazing, definitely worth the effort. Great snorkelling video too. Fair winds from Port Macquarie this week 😂. Hope ya well guys
I remember decades ago like 4, the Bahamas looked like this. Easily. No more. Mostly coral rubble now. Caribbean not as bad but working on it. Gland to see healthy hard corals like this.
I was thinking as you first started hiking through the woods that it felt like The Lord of the Rings and then you said it!!! So funny. So beautiful. So jealous!
Beautiful , Loving the island hopping trip , Just out of Curiosity How is SV Triteia holding up ? , My SV Triteia T shirt is going into the Draw till next summer , a few people asked what Boat it was on the t-shirt , so i pointed them here ⛵😀
Triteia is great. All cruising boats require regular maintenance, repairs and projects. If you care for a well built boat she will last several lifetimes
Another excellent video. You consider going through Kimberley before leaving Australia. There are very few places like that and it seems only local YT channels go there. Cheers, Hal
No we didn’t visit the kimberlies, the reason foreign yachts rarely visit them is because you would have to beat back into the tradewinds to clear out of Darwin
Was anchored in butterfly bay one evening when the wind increased dramatically; seemed to accelerate down the mountain slope. Do they call it a katabatic wind? Anyway, it was extremely strong and blew a large powerboat out to sea while the owners were ashore. Helped them retrieve it once the winds died down. Very exciting evening.
Hope you didn't miss Whitehaven Beach. I know you can't do everything but that place is the jewel in the crown. You can literally spend a couple of months in the Whitsundays and not see it all.
@budawang77 you are so right about Whitehaven though, even if not into beaches, the pure silicone sand there, whitest beach I have ever seen, like being in an old alpine cigarette ad.
Much of that area (Butterfly) had its coral badly damaged by Cyclone Debbie a few years ago, was sad to see all the coral heaped up on the beach, looked like a bone yard.
Nicely done Rhonda! You brought Triteia up to the mooring ball at a smooth & steady pace. James seemed inpatient with his hand signals as you approached the mooring ball, but that could have been leftover frustration from the prop•rock 💋kiss💋. Did that incident prevent him from bending you over at the top of your hike, enjoying each other as you look out at the *spectacular* view‽ Thanks for the video folks. Well Wishes. 🙏🦉
You're an inspiration for following dreams man. Thanks for the great content
Man, I love your choice of music for the underwater reef section

I'm so happy for you brother.

That was a spectacular view. Every hike adds an element- poisonous snakes, poisonous plants…..what next

Yes downslope winds can be deadly
Nature of the beast or nature of the beach?😅

We are not that interested in white sand beaches and more interested in hiking in the bush or snorkeling the reefs
@@SailorJames Fair enough.
