Kudos to you for having a good go at the native pronunciation of local place names. It is not easy in NZ, you did well and I know that the effort is appreciated here.

That smile on your face because your friends invited you to dinner when you get in is priceless. I look forward to both cooking it for someone else and will be forever grateful to whomever has a hot meal for me on the other end!

Dude! Can we have an hour long AMSR video, with a long continuous clip just like the short part in your intro on this video, with the side of boat view angle.. The water noise is relaxing.. Just it sailing through the water blissfully.. It'll get loads of views being tranquil ❤

I have cruised that area alone in a similar boat with a good softbait rod and a few lures its very easy to keep yourself supplied with snapper fillets for dinner every night. You don't need to anchor, when conditions are right drop sails lash tiller hard across and drift fish usually you have dinner within 5 minutes. I have also caught fish from the anchorage exactly where he is.

Side tie. I have a different boat but when I dock like you were docking I try to keep my boat speed up to counter wind and current then right at the last moment i will throttle up in reverse then step off with the stern tie in hand and use it to brake any further forward motion. My basic slip is down a tight fairway in a downwind slip. Fin keel spade rudder very maneuverable and Prop walk can help. I'm back on the boat a lot more these days. Another tip.. Any hardware you need to access for service? Where you need to open it up for access if it has Aluminum and Stainless. it;'s a good Idea to regularly open that up and keep it accessible. I have been having to drill out and re tap some of those places. Tedious .Corrosion sux.

@@SailorJames Yes I know, No criticism. My Slip is in the estuary and we get big currents every day plus My Slip i sin line with the current and also down wind. it's very tricky. Worse when you are new to a spot. I know my slip and have practiced hundreds of times. Can't do that in your situation.

@@SailorJames ok, I noticed that function on the windy app, with navionics it wouldn't so much apply on Georgian Bay, the current isn't so scheduled like a tide, I think I'm safe to say that, good to know ✌️

I appreciate you making the effort to get the pronunciations of the places you visit right… A lot of YT sailors act like it’s no big deal that they aren’t even TRYING to get pronunciations of places right and it always comes across as disrespectful. Thanks for not doing that.

I have an app called Marine traffic, that you can track vessels, but when I put the name Triteia, it shows a much larger vessel (12m) and it flies the flag of Malaysia, and is currently in Singapore. Is there a different identifier I can use to find you?
