    Hello Friends,
On this episode I haul up anchor at Great Barrier Island after an amazing stay and make way for Waiheke Island to hide from some approaching weather. The passage started out quiet but as the day progressed the seas started to build in the Hauraki Gulf and by the time I approached Waiheke the seas were charging and the winds were force 5.
I eventually made my way around to the south side of the island and tucked into Putiki Bay in the howling winds.

  • @jogrant3851
    @jogrant3851 7 месяцев назад

That got real rough real quick. Beautiful place and loving the moody skies. Are conditions pretty much predictable around NZ? It's really exposed.
Here's a recipe you might like:
In a large pot, fry an onion in oil (whatever oil you prefer)
Add 2L of vegetable stock (any stock you prefer)
Approx 500gm of green lentils (or 2 x 420gm cooked brown lentils)
Approx 100gm of brown rice vermicelli (Pandaroo is nice)
4 x zuchinni (chopped into rounds)
6 sticks celery (chopped, include leaves, if prefer)
    A splash of sesame oil
    A dash of salt
And the special ingredient is 2 handfuls of whole coriander seeds
Put it all in the pot.
Simmer till lentils are soft (al dente)
    Season to taste
This lasts in the fridge for a week
    Take care and Happy Sails!!

When sailors have a goal to buy somthing most important, and then sharing that need with supporters, who can remember what they give to. and as the sailor with what they have as people who give money or other support, all enjoy this life without confusion...bendiciones...m
