"Green Green", Jimmy Jenson, 1964

Jimmy Jenson was a scandinavian musician in Minnesota, born in 1931 and died in 2015. He recorded a number of LPs containing covers, "scandinavian parodies", and, seemingly, a few original songs, or covers I have not yet been able to find another recording of.

This is a fun recording. He reminds me of other Scandinavian dialect musicians like Hjalmar Peterson, Ernest and Clarence Iverson, and Harry Skarbo/Yogi Yorgesson. Though I had never heard of Jimmy Jenson until now. Also, it's always nice to run into another 78 and old LP record collector from Minnesota "in the wild" on RUclips. Do you have other recordings by Minnesota performers from the 60s or earlier?
