    Red Nichols was fantastic in the late 20s and early 30s, though seems by this time they were starting to go downhill. Still a great recording.

      Nichols really ate shit during the jazz-swing transition. It didn't help that their main label, Brunswick, more or less ceased to exist by '39. The thirties were a very messy time for bands indeed.

      @@gunnarthefeisty A rhumba version of this song? Very interesting! A great band but they sometimes did not very good material.

      @@JoeMarx1929 There were very few Latin numbers recorded by jazz bands in the 1930s. Red a bit ahead of the times.
