FEBRUARY UPDATE! My FULL UPDATED SETTINGS after two months: ruclips.net/video/0grC83SlJhs/видео.html
I can’t believe I get to watch Halo Guides again, what a freaking time to be alive
Amen
ruclips.net/video/gSztkY-LDd8/видео.html No Aim Assist Highlights :) !
I feel this so hard
It’ll bring a tear to a grown man’s eye
BIG Facts!!
I've been playing Halo for 15 years, I don't need these tips... I just came to say, what a time to be alive. I used to watch this guy's youtube videos more than 10 years ago. It is a beautiful thing to see :')
That’s amazing, thanks for watching all these years, cheers!
Then why are u watching this lol obvs u came for the tips
@@PandemicPete bro he literally just explained he clicked for nostalgia
@@mainingredient7429 he’s lying 🤥
What a completely unnecessary backhanded compliment…🤣. You’re a real winner, a true MLG pro. It’s called teamwork Hotshy, get over yourself 🤏🤏
Additional tip: Max Input Threshold is a *very* important setting in terms to how ''fast'' or ''jerky'' your motion feels. If you leave it at 10-15 you'll reach that ''faster horizontal turn'' accel faster, but the switch from the regular aim to that is quite jarring. If you set it to 0, however, you'll need to use your entire range of motion to the edge if you want to reach max speed. 15 is like having dual-sensitivity, 0 is like having a regular one.
dawg i’ve never been bad at halo before. can’t believe im here rn. thx for the help man
This video does in fact not have an infinite amount of tips as the thumbnail suggests, but I'll allow it. Great video!
Super glad to be seeing normal halo content from you!
I’m so hyped we have these style videos
Same like so early on as well fr their a daggum g
I like how you talked about pretty much everything, like the visual settings etc. Good vid
Thank you for providing this! My awesome wife got me the Halo Infinite Elite controller as an early Christmas gift and I mapped it based on an MW 2019 video now I can play with the controls using this guide. Also even with my current config the Elite controller has helped my aim a TON
Always been helpful watching your videos on this series. Gonna try some of these tips asap
I’ll be glued to your channel for the foreseeable future, BBK, keep up the great work!
Thank you so much!
Really high genuine engaging gameplay advice. Thank you!
So happy infinite is out. Subbing right now. Looking forward to more halo content from you 😀
I use PC now, but glad to come back to your channel after 6-7 years!
I personally like vibration as it gives me feedback on what's going on without me focusing on too many elements on the screen, I have been playing with vibration on tho so may be a bit numbed to it as a distraction. I really see this as a personal preference. I do wish there was a vibration intensity slider, I can change the intensity on my elite controller, but I hope to see it as a game option too at somepoint for those who do not have an elite controller.
Aiming was definitely the biggest change I felt during this beta compared to the flight. During the flights it felt so stiff and slow, but now it feels a lot more light which is nice. I didn't have to go as high up on sensitivity this time.
Really? I didn’t try the flight, but even now I have both sense and acceleration maxed (yeah I’m wired haha)
I'm completely new to Halo. I played H2 casually with friends on LAN a couple times back in the day, but was mostly a comedic relief.
Playing the campaign, I'm excited for it. It's my first time actually playing through a FPS (and my first time playing on the Xbox at all). This video has been helpful. I haven't dived into multiplayer yet, because I'm afraid of letting down a team being that new. But one day I'll creep into it, and hopefully won't make a fool.
Oh man, I needed to figure out the settings to make it feel like the older halo games. I'll tweak my settings and give these a try.
A new Halo and a new series from BBK, just like old times I am so happy right now
Subbed as soon as the og skate video reference was made haha, super informative video, thanks man:)
Thank you bbk as always for your amazing content. You are straight to the point, clear and easy to understand, and don’t waste time plugging your content / needlessly talking to the camera.
You are the reason I got better at h5 / got out of a rut, and I knew you would provide the same help with infinite!
Cheers and thank you!
@@BBKDRAGOON have you made the “follow-up video” you allude to about giving an update on where you stand with some of the settings like look acceleration, etc. after playing Infinite for a month and getting a pretty thorough feel for the game? Would also love to see your key binds for the paddles, thumbstick configuration (type, tension setting, etc.), and anything else revolved around game controls/elite controller itself specific to Infinite that you found helpful.
I just picked up the Elite Series 2 and my head is spinning a little bit from the amount of customization and setting adjustments you’re able to make 🤯🤯. And that’s not including all the sliders specific to Halo itself which I previously spent about a week tinkering with to find a semi-sweet spot I was happy with. Looks like it’s back to the drawing board since this controller will likely change the feel of everything drastically 🙄😬🙃
I like this because it’s chill, helpful, and you’re not a jerk about your skills.
Never owned an Xbox until the last couple years so Halo is still fairly new to me.. but since you’re a friggin magician at Halo, I’m stoked to see more content my friend. Keep up the good work!
Biggest advice I can give is simple. Halo is not a solo game. Because of high TTK and headshots not being effective with shields up it is super hard to venture alone and be successful. Positioning and most importantly setting up 2v1/3v2 situations is how most fights will end. In halo a well organized team can easily handle an unorganized one even with a big skill gap.
@@douglascarriere6451 I appreciate the tips my friend! I have learned the hard way that a unorganized team is gonna get wiped pretty quick lol. It’s just adapting to the Halo sandbox which I’m excited to do nonetheless :)
i played Halo on the original xbox, when it cam out and i never once thought of turning off the vibration in the controller, it is a whole new experience i can aim better and i do not get freaked out by some far off explosion in my hands thanks for the totally obvious tip that i never thought of. two thumbs up
Nice vid, will experiment with controller settings in training mode. Glad to hear you're making more of these kind of vids 😊
Great Channel never Stop dude
Played around a lot with control settings and found putting max threshold to 0 helped me a lot along with max acceleration.
Dose it really?
@@dripxdrip For me yes, it feels like my MCC set up.
Been loving the multiplayer so much, haven't gotten into a multiplayer this hard and dedicated to getting Guud, since CoD Modern Warfare, I got addicted to that Multiplayer. I never bothered with Battle Royal, and a good bit of advice is, not taking anything too seriously. Now that I've found my preferred setting I'm averaging top 5 and if I stop sweating and being a try hard 😅 top 3. I tend to do way better if I have fun. I'm also playing with randos and so far, everyone has been great and helpful if not quiet. Vibration off is a good tip, I've died from my controller Vibration off setting my aim way too many times to count. My biggest issue now, is remembering to take breaks lol I even added a notification every 2 hours. 😆 🤣 😂
Game is a lot of fun! Hope to match with you sometime!
Yeah i haven't been into a multiplayer since CoD MF; Halo 🔥
I personally wish they add the possibility to have a higher sensitivity, even with everything to the max I’m far away from my usual sensitivity. I understand it’s not for all, but just to be able to do it will be a great add IMO, at least to turn around fast enough when someone shoot us in the back before it’s already over.
I like this guy! Thank you for the content!
Thanks for the video. Very informative!! Def having a great time w Halo Infinite. I'm late to the party, its my 1st Halo game lol!
I've been waiting for this yesssss
great vid bro, thanks for the help
I go Recon for my button layout but I changed sprint to left stick and slide/crouch to X. It feels comfortable and has that old Halo feel.
Will you be doing an optimal pc settings/keybinds guide? I gave up the controller a long time ago and have zero intention of going back lol. I enjoy your videos!
I knew you’d clutch up with a vid like this
Hey man,
Super awesome vid. It helps a lot.
Just 1 minor question.
What are the pedal trigger settings?
Cya :)
I’m a new player and this was an extremely helpful Halo Tips video! Anyone who is new to the game go and watch this video!
Thank you so much for making this! As an amputee missing a few finger on my right hand (as well as my legs) I’ve been looking for a video like this for a while.
Halo is back! This game feels like the glory days! I'm so excited.
And having it free to play means that the playerbase will grow and it will probably have great longevity.
Now lets run the e-sports side back to the glory days!
Ahhh a good old fashioned bbk tip video. Infinite replay review series coming?
Ayyy. Nice trophy on the desk and emblem.
Please keep up these halo infinite videos
My first ever halo guide
Great video thanks for sharing
The strafe speed is insane on this game!
Really helpful ! Thanks you
I just ported my controller settings over from MCC and works like a charm! (Though I swapped D-Pad Left and Right because I'm more used to changing nades with Right)
You mean you copied it or there's an actual option to port over the settings?
@@Danbimmerfan No easy option to transfer over from MCC, you have to enter them in manually; but they feel pretty damn similar if you do (if there's even a difference in the first place).
Did the same thing
Question man what do you have set for your back buttons on your controller?
Great tips as always! I've been playing on default and its way to slow. I have to play with it a bit ans see what I enjoy.
Great vid. Very useful
Great info! Thanks!
Hey are you playing in color blind mode for those green outline/obj markers? I have a hard time seeing people who would normally pop out to me in old halos.
Thank you!
Off wz casual 2 and onto halo glad to have some variety agin
Hey bro nice video as always :)
I know that you love the competitive aspect of games (started to watch your content on starcraft 2 with terans strats), so if i may, i will suggest few ideas that i would love to see on this game with you:
Proposing a kind of Bronze to Master series, where you comment your interesting games with strats/quick decision making for Solo Q? (short video of 10min)
In the other hand, it would be also realy entertaining to watch some live replay of you playing with 2/3 teamates together with audio commentary and just having fun (it's personal, but for this type of format i rather would watch a 1h video than a condensed montage of 10mins in order to feel more connected and feeling the true essence of halo haha).
Anyway, this is just some personal proposition, the most important is that you enjoy the game otherwise it will not work.
Wish you the best!
Peace!
I have been playing claw for going onto a year and its a useful skill to have! you can take it with you with whatever game you play and games like halo are those games u need claw with to be at your best
You know, it’s crazy but playing on default just feels the best for me. Maybe it’s from playing halo for 20 years and online for 16 but something about the default controls just clicks with my brain better than any of the other settings I’ve tried
awesome info! Thanks
Great video 🔥
Ah the claw hand style. years in and still going hard since I was 6! The claaaaw 😭
Awesome video! biggest thing for players is to not be afraid to experiment so they can find something they're comfortable with and that works well for them... just not default, no default... pls
I do agree that controller will likely be the better option, but that's fine as mouse and keyboard still feels fine, not like in halo 3 where my bullets go nowhere.
Halo 3 is notorious for having the slowest projectile speed in the entire franchise.
IMO, 343 solved the Assault Rifle issue in Halo 4 after Bungie failed to make it useful in Halos 1, 3, & Reach.
@@o_o-037 I’m not gonna say bungies Balancing was good, but the ce ar is far from useless when it’s got a longer melee range and quick camo
Very good video, new sub
Great guide as always :)
Thanks man, hope youre enjoying Infinite!
can you talk about weekly challenged because not sure if bug but I didn't get the sigil visor
Can you put the link to the Xbox elite 1 white that you using I want that one, I miss it when it released. I already got the halo infinite elite series 2.
Widescreen monitor and tight FOV is what I got out of this for myself 👌🏼
4:58. Worth noting though that different games FOV values are not comparable whatsoever. E.g. Valorant FOV is listed as 103, but the equivalent value in Halo Infinite would be roughly 106 and in Apex Legends it would be roughly 88. This is because different games define it differently, Apex uses a 4:3 aspect ratio and the quoted FOV is inbetween the vertical and horizontal FOV while Valorant quotes 103 FOV as being the Horizontal FOV in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Just food for thought. IMO Halo infinite FOV is best anywhere from 95 to 105 :)
Can confirm the muscle memory thing even after not playing a Halo game (Or really, almost any shooter) for years until now. I went in thinking I was a "blank slate" due to my hiatus and wanted to give Bumper Jumper a try as a new foundation. But adjustment after adjustment pulled me back to the old scheme I used from Reach and such. My hands naturally picked it up and were still as efficient as they used to be when I went back to my old style instead of trying to make them learn a new one. Muscle memory is a powerful thing!
The right stick always tip is cool lol cause I like B to melee in Halo. It's only right 🤷♂️ and bro, the SPEED LINES SETTING! It always looks like I'm getting shot at from behind and it freaks me out lmao. I've definitely lost a couple 1v1s due to the distraction. Thanks for this.
What are your settings on the elite controller itself? Like the curves and such?
dude, i just changed sprint to A (being the fact that you can only sprint forward) and L3 to toggle crouch, like old halo was, but now lets you aim on slides) and bumper jumper, but with LT, because i spam the hell outta jumps and slides while aiming with RB (Like a double trigger, or like a mouses do), and the fact of being able to not loose sight while on any of this actions really focuses your right hand to shoot ,items and aim, while the left hand is all movement except for running (so you use it more wisely, because running always leaves you unarmed), i did all of this in destiny some months back then, and it works wonders in halo
So what would I use as ur paddles? Just curious.
I like how I can swap to keyboard and mouse at any point in a match without touching the settings. I use controller when I'm on foot and when I hop in a vehicle I'll swap to K/M for that aim sensitivity being higher... especially when on a warthog turrt
I find that having jump mapped to Right stick works really well for me
this is good stuff
In halo 5 I used .5 sens both horizontal and vertical and 4 look accel. In this game I wish I could drop the sens lower than 1. I have to accommodate by lowering my look acceleration which is not something I'm keen on because I like being able to whip still. Will have to look into the max input thresholds
im thinking of getting the elite controller for the paddles. i would like to bind my crouch and zoom to back paddles.
Did you remove a paddle or is it broken?
How do you enable 120fps in the game. I have it enabled in the Xbox system settings but halo is still 60
is the Aim assist stronger on xbox + controller or PC + controller??? any proof or links to support would be appreciated?
Just asking because normally on apex aim assist is strong on Xbox + controller when compared to PC + controller.
thank you
Great video! Mind if I ask what you have your paddles mapped to?
I have them mapped to, B, X, and A. Thank you!
@@BBKDRAGOON So you have B as top left paddle, X as top right paddle, & A as bottom right? Am I understanding correctly?
@@BBKDRAGOON I too am wondering which paddle is bound to which button.
Maybe I have a crappy controller. But I can't seem to make the slightest movement without the scope jumping past the target. A good video that shows comparisons with different controller settings would be a big help to noobies to FPS games played with controllers. Thank you for your effort and presentation.
Could never truly get my head around bumper jumper (no way to test unless in the deep end) but having the boot camp lets me get muscle memory for the controls. Only thing I swaped was x and b button around. Great and useful video man
Sniping is way better with bumper jumper, as is basically any precision combat involving jumping. Give er a shot you'll get the hang in like a day
I was skeptical of this video until you said bumper jumper 20 seconds in🤣 been playing on it since halo 3
Never played halo multiplayer but I’m enjoying infinite far more than I expected.
Insta-subscribe. Great information in the context of this game being new at a good pace
used to run bumper jumper but now button puncher is my go to
do you kowa stock ej or ek nla motor lst
I just started playing it. My screen doesn't show my sights when I zoom in or anything at all like the radar, health ect. Do you know how to fix that?
Can i pick a server?
I constantly get a 300ms i had very little 20ms games
I need help i’m trying to upgrade shield core and the other stuff but it won’t let me it will only let me upgrade grappleshot I already tried youtube but I cant find anything.
Thanks. 😎🔥🥇🏆
Can you please let me know why my ads zoom goes in and out? Settings for that.
Have you experienced this controller mapping issue?
I'm trying to map my controller so that grenades and equipment can be switched using the D-pad but for some reason, after setting up the grenades using the left D-pad then up, down, left, right to specify which grenade, when I go to setup he right D-pad for equipment, it says it's already mapped for a grenade. However, if I use ABXY to determine which grenade/equipment, I get no warnings about those buttons being already mapped, even though they clearly are. This seems to be a developer issue, but when I get my Elite Series 2 soon, I'll just use the back buttons... hopefully.
Wow seeing your spartan without outlines is soo nice
Which it was like that for real :(
Do you like full-screen effects and exposure to 100? Is there a reason for that?. Its not exactly clear what they do.
you fiddle with the weapon offset settings at all? I imagine having your gun take as little space as possible is best, but it seems like it can maybe feel a little weird
I haven't yet, I may in time
