  • How to get Onyx Soloque in Halo Infinite. These 8 tips I used in every ranked game helped me get Onyx soloquing. You need to use these 8 Halo Infinite tips, they will help you climb the ranks, rank up faster, and reach Onyx by yourself. Getting Onyx by yourself is very possible in Halo Infinite, there can be huge frustrations along the way, such as crashes, disconnects, and plenty of things beyond your control. The key is to focus on what you can control, and to abuse the elements of Soloque that you can use to your favor. Halo Infinite Soloque is VERY different than that of teams of 4 with good communication. You can use this to your advantage by taking fights you know you can win, cleaning up engagements that have already begun, and escaping from losing situations. I hope these tips help you reach your goal of Ranking Up in Halo Infinite and hopefully hitting Onyx in SoloQue. Thanks for watching.

    The best part is the one about being tilted, because it’s exactly what trainers teach to professionals in every competition. Great stuff! 💪🏻
    My example: we were 3v4 since the beginning in Slayer. I had no hope through the whole match, as we approached the end with a ~20 - 40 score. My team mates were just as frustrated as me. Luckily I was also on a Discord channel with a friend who was casually spectating me and told me to just focus. We lost 48-50, but I was able to get almost all the remaining kills to that point without dying once. We were so close to the miracle, but it felt good anyway because I knew I gave everything despite the situation.

      Funny enough I feel like in slayer the team with fewer players has an advantage, fewer targets to kill which leads to a longer time between Killa if it's played right.

    Great tips man, keep them coming. Something I've been ignoring is how much attention those long 1v1s draw. I almost always get cleaned up by another enemy when I should have just bailed and got better positioning.

    I LOOOVE your emphasis on the mental game and not playing when frustrated etc. It's true of any skill eh, tilt = diminished returns. So many gamers use anger to fuel them, as shown by gaming's reputation for insults and offensive remarks. Something about Infinite makes it feel veeery sweaty imo, like I often feel that I could have won a 1v1 etc if i wasn't making silly errors etc, I think it's because the mp is honestly very well made. But it also means I often need to keep my sessions short and if I'm not on-form I usually only play a couple of games to keep tilt and emotions low.

    Can you please do a video on respawns? Where they are on maps, timing, if there is a way to roughly estimate how enemies will be spread out, should you wait for your entire team to respawn, how often should you check the scoreboard to see who is still alive etc.

    • @charlesschwab7651
      @charlesschwab7651 2 года назад +5

      When an enemy dies. If you watch the kill feed, when they disappear, they’re typically respawning. If you learn the spawns and use this trick, team play levels up significantly. When we roll 4 deep one of my buddies who has less gun skill typically runs clean up duty as well as calling spawns. A big one with spawns involves where your team is located. The game tries to spawn you away from threats. So if your team is clustered between A and B side on streets and you’re separated from the majority of your team after they hit a wipe or even a triple, the game will spawn closer to you than them. So it’s always good after winning an engagement to move to reset on power positions, or push an objective in those moments while the recently deceased are still haunting the kill feed.

    • @Joey-dl6nm
      @Joey-dl6nm 2 года назад

      common sense. if your team is crowded on 2/3 of the map, you know in that 1/3 thats where the enemies are spawning

    Best tip I got from another streamer. Try to stay alive more. I run towards my teammates but if I see they died, I don't take on the fight. I go to another teammate. I never hear callouts so paying attention to where teammates are and their status really help. Hardly ever hear anyone on comms and the ones I do hear shouldn't have a mic. Swear I must have had the same random guy twice and 10 seconds in he was saying how we all suck.luckily I know how to mute people now.

I became onyx in Halo 5 within 3 wewks after watching you replay reviews and slowly applying it. My friends are better than me up front always cuza accuracy but I always manage to be better than them down the line because of the tips u give. Halo is my favorite shooter through each installment and it helps me relax and use my brain in a more skillful manner so knowing these advanced tactics makes the game so much more fun than relying on accuracy and melee. Anyways. Thank u so much over the years and if I can make a request and its doable I'd like to see. Some low lvl replay reviews when u have time. Thanks again.

    • @EvilSt0ner
      @EvilSt0ner 2 года назад +3

      It's a lot easier to hit Onyx in Open queue. Your getting matched with 3 man teams that are confident enough to queue without a 4th. They expect you to be useless so if you get a few kills or help with objective their happy. Worst is Solo/Duo if you do it solo your getting matched against teams of two and have a lot of 1v2's to win. Games matchmaking is broken you could be Diamond 6 and it will give you all gold teammates up against full diamond 3 team. Guess they think that is fair.

    I'm not really a ranked player, and kinda mediocre overall tbh, but I think some of this stuff will come in super handy. I often find myself in too deep on the map with no backup and getting mopped up by 2 or 3 on 1s. Then I get pissed because 'my stupid team isn't there to help.' Tilt, then more suck. I also never ping, or see anyone else doing it. These are the big things I am going to work on. Thanks man.

    i've pretty much solo queued my entire time playing halo infinite. don't really have many friends who play the same games and for some reason i enjoy solo queueing in competitive shooters. weird, I know right? i never played halo 5, played the others for most of my life. kind of gave up on it, but i also have 2k plus hours in CS and have a decent level in face it. plus tons of solo queue experience. the main tip i would recommend here is taking advantage of reposition and healing back up. i literally get away with so much when i should be dead because of lack of coms from enemy team. solo queue can be fun, but trust me it is possible. im onyx and never play with anyone but myself!

I was running default the whole time but as soon as I copied Lucids settings I started slaying again. I would also add as a tip, make the enemy commit as much as possible if you are in a tight spot. Make them throw the nade, make them round the corner bc more often then naught it allows ur team to clean him up because of it.

    "I'm not a very accurate player" as he hits every shot lmao.
    I think this goes to his positioning though and knowing when to take a fight. The good thing about practicing against people rather than bots is that, though it seems like it would be the opposite, people can be more predictable than bots and people make mistakes. So if you can give yourself opportunities to improve your aim without instantly getting 2v1ed before you can even take out someone's shield then you can improve your aim to get it to a point where your aim is decent enough and you can catch people off guard

    Don't know if any of you play on kb and mouse. I use to get shit on when I had to melee. Guys jumping all around me and I had no idea where they were. Then I watched a video sorry not sure who. Anyways he showed how he sets up his mouse. He sets it up so if he does 360 his mouse moves 27cm which I think is like 10.6 inches. That means if you point at an object in game your mouse will move 27cm and you will be back to that object. Took some getting use to but made a huge difference in keeping up with those Ninja players. Now I jump over players and get head shots. Much easier to track their movements.

    I'm D6 and I had some other random diamond players on my team during a ranked Slayer match on Streets. The enemy team had two 1500 onyx players and we pooped on them 50-25. I guess onyx doesn't mean you're good lol.

    I rarely play ranked. Just play to have fun. I mean he kept saying you need to slay to go up. Which doesn't always go well playing the objectives. Someone has to grab that damn skull and die trying to zones. Never bothers me. Some players are worse than me and some are better. Main point is your not always a team especially without comms. Just a bunch of individuals doing their own thing. I really do enjoy when I see 3 teammates running around together. Don't take it so serious.

    I think I'd just like to add that this was one of the easiest FPS ranking systems to achieve top rank in. It took about 20 hours over about a week I think for me. It shouldn't be that easy. Maybe there is an argument in there somewhere that the real ranked ladder is trying to get >2000 MRR but that seems tacky to me. I didn't lose any ranking until I was already in D5 and even then it wasn't that hard to get onyx shortly after. Something needs to change at the end of the day. It just isn't rewarding.

    I ping those spots all the time, and no one responds. Even yesterday a girl came on the mic and said "elevator, why the hell is it saying elevator? " I need good friends on my list

    I slightly agree on the accuracy part. In high elo like the video said it does matter a bit more but if you have below average accuracy you’re gonna lose your fights even if you start them first 🤷‍♂️ that being said tho if your playing controller you don’t gotta worry too much about accuracy it’s built in for you 😏
