That moment when you know all the tips and just realise ur trash in game.
He doesnt go over teamwork. 99% of halo is teamwork at the higher ranks. Want a few tips that will actually instantly improve your overall game? Position yourself to be able to help your teammates, If your in a spot where you cant help at least 1 of your team within 1-2 seconds then your really poorly positioned most likely. Also never stop shooting, If you have shields and are not 1 shot then try to be blasting damage into everything that moves thats not on your team, even if you can only land 1 shot on a guy, shoot and shoot and shoot. Try every match to do as much damage as humanly possible. Because at high level people just dont really miss that much, putting even 1 shot into a guy whos about to run into your teammate makes his fight 100x easier and more likely to win that 1v1 because hes up 1 shot. Your teammate wins that fight then comes around the corner and maybe he can return the favour and save you. Team work makes the dream work. I remember back towards the middle or end of halo 2 when Final boss was still dominating they openly said that a bunch of semi pro players had flat out better aim than them by a ton BUT they lacked good teamwork and the reason final boss stayed ontop in that era was because people took so long to grasp the same level of teamwork that Final boss was able to put down. So even if you outclass someone, if your getting shot by 3 people, you can have aimbot, you will lose and die 100% of the time.

Great info! I'd suggest turning the environmental sound effects off. You'd be surprised how much easier it is to hear enemy's footsteps, shield recharges, damage from grenades (they grunt when hit by one, like an audio hit marker), reloads and, OS/Camo activation/completion.

Don’t forget if you run an enemy’s shield down and hit the repulsor they can get killed by running into a wall. Pancake medal.
Got this medal to just by trying to see if someone would take damage. It saved me lol
i once repulse someone off the map but towards another island and about 10 seconds later i got pancake which confused me for a couple minutes until i realized that he hit the other island before dying to being outside the map.
Also shoot people across the map even knowing you’re not gonna kill them, you dropping at least a 3rd of an enemy shield could be the winning factor as they go around the corner to your teammates boom kill advantage. It’s situational obviously, just need to watch for the moments.
And you get the assist which just boost your score lol win win
If there's one thing playing Scout in the good ol days of TF2 taught me, its to use your pistol to add in valuable chip damage, even if you can't chase down the target.
It's important to note that you should almost always make sure the areas closest to you are cleared before you do any crossmapping.
Ffs this should be a given... I hate those people who won't fire their weapons until the enemy is 6ft in front of them.
Just watch out you don’t get caught on that reload tho! Hate it when that happens and you’ve only fired once or twice
within the higher ranks, my ranked matches are pretty much win or loss depending if my team has mics. if i’m the only one calling out, most times it’s not enough
What ive noticed is people just lack the ability to work as a team. Mics or not, if people are not positioned to help one another and the other team is your just going to get run over. Kids have grown up with shit like cod, so they have nasty aim but dont have the first concept of teamwork so diamond and above is just a complete clown fiesta.
It’s super frustrating. I get that some people just may not be comfortable talking but the info helps soooooo much. Plus having teammates who realize that pushing 4 guys solo is going to get you killed every time
I'm very late to the party but watching a couple of these videos instantly made me better, with almost no practice at all. Dropping your weapon, flag juggling, grappling mechanics, pre aiming, center mass then head, recognizing potential spawns, team positioning, callouts, I could go on. If you want to get better this helps greatly. Thank you.
The shock rifle also has a blade on it for stronger melee hits.
Tip 21, pray for a good team in ranked

Yoooo this is the best top 20 tips video for halo infinite period and ive watched like 50 of em. I legit instantly subbed to you're channel as soon as you showed how you have video breakdowns of plays on each map and each game type this channel is literally God send.
diamond 6 here. movement is important but more than anything id say crosshair placement is crucial, especially pre aiming corners or common spots. i solod from plat 3 to diamond 6 almost purely off having solid crosshair placement and jiggle peaking.
I'm Plat 4 but struggling to go higher

I hit onyx in crosslay and solo kbm recently and learned a lot from this video, great tips! I found that I started to climb through high diamond ranks a lot easier once I started playing off of my teammates more adapting to their play styles from game to game. GL on the ranked grind everyone o7

Top of diamond 5. Losing a quarter rank for an even KD loss is just brutal….
And then you get 3 games in a row with only 3 people on your team, you go positive but still drop a full rank....
@@cjkawng9031 yea this shit is bonkers. They need to force people to rejoin their match if they log back in after d/c crash while it's still going on, or receive a penalty... but they don't even give you the option to rejoin. On top of this, your CSR loss should be padded based on the fact that you had a leaver, so that your performance is weighted better. e.g. going 10-5 3v4 is worth more than going 10-5 4v4.

I am platinum 6 and won a 3 v 4 in a match against an onyx player but I only got 1/4 the XP that I lost for losing a 3 v 4 the match b4. This games ranking system is busted

Try downloading UU if you’re on pc. I use this app to lower the ping to 70 and below. It ain’t free but it’s worth it. I live in Shanghai

I play consistently on 20 ping and some games feel great others even with 20 ping feel like the most painful unfun experience ever, the game tells you visually that your hitting shots but people dont take damage. The worst mind fuck of all time.

Tip 21: Change to controller to instantly see your accuracy rise by 15% without any improvement
I found that simply training your weapons in academy and doing gun drills is best for your aim and can transform you into a great player and you could get quite high in terms of ranking for halo by just spending 10-20 or maybe an entire hour while practicing in academy .

I like my offset at 0 all the way around the less weapon onscreen the better. I also highlight enemies in lime green or yellow instead of red. Just makes it easier to pick up on when their peeking. I honestly think the highlight system shouldn’t exist, but hey, if it’s there i’ll use it
Need help with close quarters combat. Always frazzles me and I just can't finish the kill they always gain space on me while I'm looking for them and they get that last shot. Keeping me from gaining upper platinum.
The ranking system is broken I won and I was in the top of the leaderboard and I moved a little bit
Never played Halo before but this game right here is so damn good. I just wish for better progression, more customization options, and more maps.
I just started playing Halo for the first time too and I do like it. It is fun. But I also did notice sometimes you spawn in the middle of nowhere near to your teammates. Respawn is kinda annoying. Also the score screen details isnt great. They should have the score screen before the game exist with more details.

Diamond 6 in solo/duo and onyx 1560 on open/crossover. Want to get better. I've notice I can hang with the 1500 onyx rank people. But when I'm facing 1600 and above I tend to do below average. Really want to get better and move up on the onyx number rank
21. Learn how to use pulse carbine. Use it at mid range only. It shreds the enemies and has super powerful tracking but only at mid range

The words are mixed around for new and default for weapon offset
Also for Tip #15 with the shock rifle, if you throw an electric grenade at an enemy and then headshot then it’s a one shot because it breaks shields.
dynamo grenades don't immediately break shields anyway, they do tick damage

crouching doesn't make you jump higher it just raises your feet and lowers your "profile" so that you can reach higher object with the base of your feet
From what I've seen it takes 7 shots to get a kill with a pistol.
It definitely does go try it out in weapon drills. That's the easiest way to figure out how many shots to kill for any weapon. And a decent way to practice accuracy/consistency
I think it's 4 to take out shield and 1 head shot to kill after= 5

Another tip. If you want to practice sniping , practice with that shock rifle. Its super easy and you'll train yourself to flick to the head before shooting

Meanwhile I still don't know what the melee range is or what shield level is a one-punch
Melee range is fucked because of desync/connection issues and the lunge is inconsistent but for a one-hit melee kill you need to put two full BR bursts in them.
I think it's 2 burst = melee one-punch
Yesterday I literally 2 shot someone with BR and hit them, they turned and shot me after my first burst and also melee’d back, I died and they lived.

So you telling me that me attempting to break someone’s shield faster by trying to hit them in the head was pretty much a waste of time… because I thought those shields would break faster by getting headshots

I have very panicky/twitchy aim, there's simply no way for me improve that other than to figure it out.
But it's hard since it's only in multiplayer
You should search videos with twitch aiming, it’s totally a thing
I do to. Sometimes changing sensitivity helps
Dude my cousin bought a nice gaming monitor, somehow it makes it where im less twitchy, the smaller tv makes it that way its crazy
Try to focus on aiming more with your movement and less with your looking that's what's helped me out a lot
Tell me about it I got in a car accident shortly after the game came out and Halo is one of my favorite franchises ever so it really sucked when I couldn't play it since I was paralyzed long story short I've been working on moving more and I can walk now and play games but my right arm and hand is still a little messed up so when I play it's very hard to click the trigger fast enough to be the player that I used to be but I guess it's just practice and determination

I don't really feel like the crouch jumping is that viable due it it not working instantly if you don't do it correctly you can easily get caught off guard. But to each their own
crouch jumping has always been a staple in halo games, if you can avoid doing a physical mantle and crouch jump instead you should 100% of the time learn to crouch jump. If you dont care about doing the best you can at the game than dont bother, in casual games a mantle or crouch jump wont change the outcome and no one cares, but if you want to win and do really good you need to learn to do this.
Ninja basically never works against mouse and keyboard. So unless you're playing against gamepad only it's almost never worth the risk.

Stop setting your horizontal offset to '+100'. Turn it to '-100' instead. You want all sliders to the max right EXCEPT that one. Seriously try it: your BR will take up *much* less space and you'll actually be able to see people coming from the bottom right of your screen, which you absolutely can NOT with the setting you've shown here ;) Hell just make a comparison screenshot and you'll see the BR takes up much less pixels with these settings.

I actually said it wrong up there lol. But basically this only moves the gun slightly more to the left than what's advised in the video, but it ''tilts'' guns like the BR a bit, which results in less space being blocked out by the gun on the screen. Especially the BR has this tendency to block the entire right lower corner of your screen if you put horizontal at +100 (or max to the right). You can also keep that one neutral and just pull it back (depth -100) and down (vertical -100) if that looks better to you ;p

If they have no skill, you shouldn’t need tips to get past them. You know halo has always been a game with a lot of grenades and punching, right?
@@xIQ188x yeah I've been playing since the first one, just tired of the enemy team yeeting all their grenades the second they see me, cause when that happens there's just no getting out of it. Plus, not all the games relied this heavily on just killing the enemy team with grenades. Either way, tactical Slayer essentially removes my main problem.
