  • Imagine sinking your teeth into a delicious light & fluffy omelette. Now you can! This is such a simple recipe using just a couple eggs some oil and butter. I just can't believe I've never done this before.
    Eggs are amazing! There's so many ways to enjoy them and this is just one of the many.
    This method was demonstrated by Jean Imbert on Jamie Oliver's channel. • Three Egg French Omele...
    I had to try it out for myself. If I can do it so can you!

    You wouldn't have to whisk it for such long if you seperate the yolks and whites and then beat the egg whites first until firm peaks, then add the yolks and fold them in. I bet it would be way more fluffier 😀

      Baking as a passion whisking together is easier. If you doki awpwratly, you will whisk the whites for just as long, then whisk the yolks for a while longer. Plus, the folding method, though great, is easy to mess up. They might have over cooked it by a bit in this video, but other then that, solid video.

    My dad used to make me and my brother omelettes this way as kids (except he used an electric mixer 😉) he also heated up the plates so the omelette wouldn't go flat straight away. Thanks for the memories!

    Another way to make fluff omelette: beat the eggs as you normally do, add a little milk, beat again, add a spoon of flour carefully and beat again until the mixture is uniform. You can also add some mushrooms in the pan and fry them a bit before pouring the omelette composition. Leave it on low heat, covered with a cap. It's not necessary to turn on other side. Being covered it will get cooked on both sides.

      BTS sweet Army When cooking eggs, butter is used to prevent the eggs from sticking to the pan. Put a teaspoon (maybe a little more) into the pan and let it melt, while moving the butter around to make sure you've covered it all.

    My mom used to make pances and then cover the half with cheese covering the other side over the cheese so it gives you a nice pancake filling.
    Perhaps doing the same with eggs?

      It is a pancake. They cut scene when they poured it, and the mix in the pan was a completely different color and a lot thicker than the mix they showed in the bowl.
      Im still trying to figure out if everyone is kidding or not. Or are this many people seriously fooled by something so stupid?

    what I did i separated the yolk from the whites to make even more fluffy then I whisked the life a or of the yolk then fold the yolk into the whites and cook add seasonings and enjoy

      This my recipe I made, so credit me if you use this or copy it
      What you will need
      2 Eggs
      2 Whisk
      2 Bowls
      Flour
      Tablespoon
      And something to cook with
      1. Add one egg into a bowl and whisk until it forms bubbles or soft peeks
      2. Add two tablespoons of flour into the whisked egg (two tbsp of flour per egg) and mix
      3. In another bowl, add one egg whites (basically avoiding the yolk) and whisk until it forms peeks
      4. Combine the egg flour mixture to the egg whites and fold with a spatula
      5. Get your pan ready that is coated it cooking oil, put your stove on medium low heat
      6. Wait for four minutes for your pan to be pre heated, while you're waiting, switch with a whisk of your mixture and keep whisking
      7. Cook your fluffy mixture and DONT TOUCH IT. You'll know when it's ready when you use a spatula to look under the mixture, be careful to not touch the top
      8. Put it on a plate with a topping of your choice this can be a dessert or meal :)

    I usually whip the egg whites by hand than add the yolks so its easier to get volume

    Just blend it. MUCH easier, if you want an super solid, go sous vide it. Carve it like cheese/salami, but perfectly yummy.

    Eggs should not be browned! That is called overcooking, past the 300 degree mark.i It toughens the eggs and changes the flavor. Why spend all that time whisking, just to turn the bottom into rubber?

    just one question
    i saw many cooking videos and they always said "mid to high" or "low to mid" in means of temperature but what does that mean? my stove i think its called goes from 0 to 9 and i would like to know which "setting" you had while making it :) great video

    Two things:
    1) You can achieve similar results of airy eggs by using a hand mixer or throwing them into a blender for a minute or two.
    2) If your eggs are starting to turn "golden brown" as you put it, they're burnt. It ruins the soft, delicate texture of the eggs and gives them a mildly burnt flavor. Avoid this by turning the heat way lower to allow it to spread into the eggs more slowly and evenly. It'll cook the center more before burning, allowing you to flip it and cook the other side before folding.

    So is this how I should do it? "Take two eggs and separate the whites and the yolks, whisk the whites in a separate bowl until they form peaks and then fold in the yolks and butter. Then turn the heat to medium and put oil on the pan, then pour in the mixture and don't touch it in till your done." Was that correct?

    Did u whisked those eggs with butter? I'm asking bcz u nvr showed at which point u used the butter.
    I've tried by whisking room temp butter wit two eggs, grounded peppers, black salt...came out very tasty and fluffy too. 👍👍👍👌👌😄😍😍😛😛
    But i didn't cook it like u did with open tawa/pan cake griddle.. I closed it wit a lid n cooked for 30seconds, i kept the flame on very slow..bcz I hate the raw smell of eggs,I wanted it to get cooked for at least 99%😁😄
    But I've got a spongy, fluffy, soft omelet.. I tried it after seeing ur recipe.
    Thank u.. 😊but let me know when u used the butter.
