There are a dozen ways to make decent scrambled eggs. Gordon shows just one (today) and the pan (as long as it’s nonstick) is almost the least of it.
Use enough butter, use a silicone spatula, don’t burn the butter, keep everything moving, use medium heat, cook the eggs slightly undercooked because it keeps cooking even when the fire is off.
      There ya go!
      Have fun. 😊

Only thing I do different is I whisk together the egg and a dash of milk before adding it to a preheated buttered skillet. I'll always defend the good old microwave method, but this creamier "restaurant style" approach is giving me a new appreciation for the humble egg. Organic eggs from pastured chickens makes a big difference too.

Gordon is a god of cooking. Learned so much over the years. But I have a couple of fortes and I would take him to school on Eggs.
I have eaten 5-10 eggs a day for over 40 years. I must know how to cook them. Right?
    1. No non-stick. You can do Stainless, ceramic coated (NOT what they call Ceramic today), and my fave, cast Iron. There is NO safe Non-stick coating.
    2. You need nothing more than REAL butter, salt, pepper and whatever spice or veggie you like.
    3. All types of preparations have fast cook, slow cook, high heat and low heat. Some are boiled or Poached with steam. Yep, two different things.
Doctors are pissed because because my good cholesterol is off the chart great. Here is the secret, organic local farm eggs from Chickens that don't eat GMO crap and no non stick pans. Most production eggs will make you sick. Don't care for comment, do your own research.
I love you Gordon!! You are the best Chef in my eyes! However, you could use some help with your eggs. Respectfully yours....
Would be happy to help you with this.🙂
