    • @tsaicho

@@michaelfranzese I think it has something to do with the finances and cancellation rates. From what I understand, all the streamers are currently bleeding cash because of the financial investments they have to make for the content.
Netflix's model of having all episodes available at once for binge watching is great for the users, but it's terrible for the company's finances (which Netflix is finding out the hard way, especially with increased competition). If a streamer places makes all the new episodes available at once, users can watch too quickly. This becomes a problem because Netflix has to come up with new content ASAP or see a lot of cancellations until the following season's new episodes. That was a big reason Netflix had to burn so much cash for new content. Netflix got away with its cash burn for so long because its rise as a streamer occurred during an era of cheap money, so investment returns due to accommodating monetary policies by major central banks (especially the Federal Reserve) made it difficult for investors to make much money on the cash they had. With investors/speculators seeking larger returns, those investors piled into company stocks that fit a high-growth "narrative" (aka, stock market mania), such as Netflix's increasing user base, which made them part of the FAANG companies (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Google). Since Netflix executives did not want to dilute their shareholders (at least before a temporary major market value increase during the pandemic era), Netflix borrowed a lot of money at low rates since so many investors/speculators thought Netflix would keep growing. Unsurprisingly, Netflix now has a major problem because (1) streaming competition increased, (2) Netflix still burns a lot of cash on content, and (2) all during an era in which cash supplies are low thanks to central banks reducing the money supply.
Paramount, HBO, Disney, and Hulu generally release new TV episodes periodically to reduce user cancellation since it's harder to binge watch if users don't want to wait until later to binge watch. This strategy is great for these streamers because now they don't have to spend as much on new content to prevent user cancellation.

    MICHAEL FRANZESE:
THEY JUST ANNOUNCED THAT SEASON 2 OF "TULSA KING" HAS BEEN PICKED UP BY PARAMOUNT +.
Dwight "The General" has now done this through EPISODE 5 which just aired on Sunday 12/11/22 and I am quite sure you saw it:
    1. In the 1st episode, Dwight hit a MADE MAFIA MAN, Vince "The Package" Antonacci, and broke his jaw. Now they made a deal and taxed Dwight to pay $100K to Vince to make up for this infraction of the La Cosa Nostra/Mafia Mob Family Rules, and the Family Underboss and the Boss's son, Charles "Chickie" Invernizzi, has said that is the end of it and there will be no further repercussions or actions taken against Dwight.
    2. In the hospital Dwight put his hands on and threatened the "Godfather" BOSS of the family, Pete Invernizzi, about if Pete knew about some very unsettling and very disturbing news that Dwight just learned in No. 4 below.
    3. Dwight has now AGAIN attacked Vince, and I assume he stomped him to death and killed him now regarding Vince's actions and severe violations of La Cosa Nostra/Mafia Mob Family Rules mentioned in No. 4 below.
    4. BUT BUT BUT - we now find out DIRECTLY from Dwight's daughter, Tina Manfredi, that while Dwight was in prison that Vince "The Package" violated/raped/sexually assaulted/molested Dwight's daughter Tina when she was a minor or teenager and Dwight was in prison.
SO, ACCORDING TO THE LA COSA NOSTRA/MAFIA MOB FAMILY RULES, what should happen to Dwight now? Because Dwight took the current action against Vince for Vince breaking the rules for molesting Dwight's minor/teenage daughter decades ago, and the Family did nothing about it while Dwight was in prison - Does Dwight Get Another Pass Because Of the Prior Actions and Violations of Family Rules by Vince?
I did this purposefully this way in hopes it will get more people interested in the show and they will go catch up and watch all of the episodes.
THIS IS A VERY ENTERTAINING SHOW, AND STALLONE HAS A VERY WICKED DRY SENSE OF HUMOR - the show itself probably won't win any awards, but maybe for Stallone for Best Newcomer to Television, it is more than an above-average entertaining show, and the supporting cast is very good and can hold their own, and Stallone doesn't have to carry the whole show on his back and reputation as a big-time movie star actor.

Hello Michael, I'm halfway through reading the Prince 🤴.. & I've just gor you New Book delivered today. Im Reading More now at almost 65 than I ever did in school! Im a kid who grew up in Gravesend. It was Beautifull Back then! Clean & Safe, was a much nicer time with fond memories. My dad was a wise guy, we never got along... BUT Listening to you, Reminds me of all that, & im Listening with a NEW perspective. God Bless.....

Michael thank you for your comments about women and how they should be treated.
I have always thought that only in books were men the way it was meant to be…I have never met one otherwise.
But you have given me a glimmer of hope that there are men out there who have a standard that they live by
I have only ever been used and abused…thank you for that light you have shown me.

1st episode was decent, everyone after that has been really good. I like that they throw some humor into it as well. Definitely worth watching.

Thank you so much for recommending this Tulsa King. I've always loved Sylvester Stallone's Rocky, and Rambo movies. My wife and myself are really enjoying this show. If it wasn't for your recommending it I don't think I would've watched it. So thank you so much sir.

I enjoy these very much, it was fascinating and at the same time rough. The beginning reminded me of a podcast with Lex Fridman with Ed Calderon, the young people either choose to join the forces or the criminal families. Those who can't get into legal ones just join with the other ones, also because they know how to advertise themselves. There is a structure and often people look for structure in wrong places. But there are different reasons I guess, sometimes circumstances, sometimes human nature, but with younger guys it can often be inexperience and foolishness.

Michael Franzese, this is a great show so far. Not historically accurate, but great entertainment! And I love my Mafia Democracy hoodie.

Micheal I think it would be sweet if you and Chazz got together and wrote a movie about the life. The way you guys go back and forth is like watching a comedy at times even though the material you were talking about was so heavy. I know you two could put something together full of the comedic side of that life and also the real side of it, I know you guys could pull from the past and write something truly touching about the human nature that everyone could relate to. Hope you do man, be a shame if you didn’t.
