I'll play the devil advocate and say:
"Was there anyone else who watched the video and hated the interviewer?" There were many stupid/pretend stupid questions, which could have been avoided. The interviewer clearly checked up on Michael's life history and then asked a number of stupid questions instead of encouraging to learn Mr. Franzese's story on his own channel and what not.
That's the new Hollywood you see this all the time now. To this interviewer all I'm saying watch Goodfellas or Casino and see how lucky you are. Because that first question to the wrong person you aren't gonna like the answer or what happens next.
It is the fucking job of the interviewer, y'all are too much used to nowaday's softness in journalism and enchanted by Franzese's words, but the job of an interviewer is to make difficult to answer, not accommodating and sometimes annoying questions

@mikevaldez7684 journalists are trained to be neutral and objective. Most take that part with a grain of salt, but not everyone. In fact, when I was still starting out in the industry, I interviewed members of the Outlaws and Hells Angels for a feature piece. I treated them as subjects rather than criminals. You're not going to get far in this industry if people think you're untrustworthy.

Michael was an earner, not “muscle” for the family. His benefit to the family was his business acumen not his “killer instinct”. It is highly unlikely that he has any murders under his belt. But by being somewhat cryptic about it, the air of mystery is upheld and he gets to keep that mystique about him.
He wasn't always an earner and he may have had to make his bones. The Family likes to see the conspicuous display of loyalty.

Simple rules with well-understood consequences for breaking them. THAT'S how to run a society. The US has so many laws that no one can possibly understand them. No wonder we have become a society of outlaws.
He did say in an old interview no to the question if he had killed anyone. It was an interview with his wife present as well and they were both fairly young back then. But apparently since then he's been vague about it for some reason. Can't say if he was honest or not of course, but he did say no to the question back then. I believe the interview was made maybe late 80's or early 90's.
