I've not heard of that last tip before, and I can't wait to try it. I recently moved to a more arid part of the US, and my skin has changed from oily as the day is long, to dry/combination, so I feel like my makeup is either caked on with powder, or sliding off without it. Definitely sounds like a happy medium
Mr. Goss, I love a man who says what he means! I had a family wedding this weekend. I wore your foundation, powder, eye palette, eye liner, mascara, lipstick and gloss. I got an outrageous amount of compliments. Muchas Gracias!
Oooo I have an (older) dry skin n have to be super careful with powder due to the possibility of it looking cakey. Can't wait to try #5 and see how that works for me! Thanks Wayne between you and Smitha D. My makeup looks so much better than it did in my younger years! (way way back in the late 70s - 80's lol feels like a million years ago) oh n I love your blush only thing I use.
Yes, you are succinct. I love your tips videos, they are so essential to my wearing make-up, even if somedays are stick foundation (Huda is a must), blush (Hourglass), mascara (Merit), bim-boom-bang out the door! What was the dry skin setting spray you used? Hourglass?
Thank you so much, Wayne. I was always using a brush, but now I'm older and dry and it makes me look cake. Will try powder puffs and setting spray. GREAT VIDEO!
@WayneGoss Where do I find a nice classic powder puff? I can only find the Terri cloth oversized puffs. I have a couple nice small puffs, that came with a pressed powder. Do you have a link? 💖
As a relative beginner to make-up this was quite insightful, thank you. I've a bunch of questions about touch-ups actually. What should one expect when it comes to doing touch-ups? Like how frequently do most make-up wearers expect to need to do them? What usually needs to be touched up? Are there any good tips for touching up?
That largely depends on your skin type abd the types of makeup you use. For example, I have to use waterproof eyeliner because my eyes are easily irritated abd water often. Before switching to waterproof liner, I was touching up the lower part of my outer corner at least every couple of hours.
Wayne, You are so beautiful and love taking care of us over 40's! I can not Thank you enough for your content and cosmetic's That's it !! Oh wait, let's catch that finger printer's part ! I hope your talking from your passport only finger print's either way we still Love you !! 🫂🙏💜❤
It's amazing how little people talk about the different ways to set makeup and make it seem like there is only one way to do it. I stopped setting my makeup in early 2022 and it was the best decision I made for my dry skin. My face does set shinier quicker from whats underneath it and from the weather but it lasts longer and looks better.
Hello Wayne I am a silent watcher since forever love your channel❤. I wanted to ask what powder would you suggest for extremely oily skin? Because by the end of the day my makeup is gone 😭😭😭
Hi there! I know I'm not Wayne, but I thought my suggestions might be helpful. I have extremely oily skin, meaning that 2-3 hours after I apply, my oils start coming through. (Without setting powder and spray, I look like I could fry bacon on my face.) That said, the Laura Mercier powder does not work for me. It's very drying under my eyes and just looks cakey on my skin. And pressed setting powders are a no-no for oily skin since they are more emollient than loose powders. The two loose setting powders that work really well for me on all foundation types are the Coty Airspun and the Loreal Infallible Pro Sweep & Lock powders. Pairing with these with a matte foundation are game-changers. Depending on the foundation used, there's usually minimal transfer and the makeup lasts all day. For setting sprays, I have 3 in rotation: UD All Nighter, Elf Stay All Night (a UD All Nighter dupe that I like a lot more than UD), and Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting spray.
How about the difference between setting and finishing powders? I read a setting powder is used to set foundation, and a finishing powder is used on top of all the makeup. And I love the last technique and now use it😊
I’m now in my mid 30s and finding powder brings out those stupid fine lines under my eyes. I’m working on making them less visible with better skin care products, but I’m so oily that I have to have a powder on. I used Cornsilk for years until it was discontinued and have not found one I have liked as much. I miss having a matte face like I used to with powder products when I was younger and didn’t have lines to worry about. Wish there was a product that didn’t emphasize the lines. :/
We are totally on the same wavelength still . Are you reading my watch history !?! I’m struggling with my face so much ! Powder is my worst enemy. It can mess up the way my make up looks - and if it doesn’t do that it looks like crap in a short period and it just will not touch up 😭😭. I wish I could just go without make up but I can’t . The puffy eye thing is the devil absolute devil !!!! My latest thing , is I have been using a foundation that’s way too dark to just make my whole face less noticeable lol. It helps my dark circles to use way dark . But I look so obviously not myself lol.
As I get older and my skin is dryer I do have to be careful with powder under my eyes. But years ago I was quite oily and used to use blotting papers. I don’t see anyone use them anymore but it was a good way to remove the oiliness without disturbing the makeup.
Every day I wait for you … To find us a way to combat our eye and puff issues lolol holding out hope that cancer gets cured soon and festoons or whatever they’re called
Hi last time you ask me to get back to you through telegram.. I’m sorry but don’t have one installed is it possible to get in contact other way 😂thank you & hope to hear from you soon also thanks for your tips 👌always welcome 🙏
And there we go ladies and gents … he’s made something so simple so utterly fabulous 🙏🏾

Love how you directly get into the topic instead of just blabbering. Thank you for your videos
I absolutely adore how you describe women and how elegant it is to see a woman touching up her makeup. You are the best!!!

ooohhh i need the first one, like go at it like a criminal!! like i was kinda doing that but it's not enough and now i understood why. thank you!
Love the last tip!! I have lines I like to cover but just powder enhances them on my lower cheek area so I will surely try this. Thanks Wayne 😊❤🇨🇦
i use a damp make up sponge and dip into powder and blot on that way, gets a nice airbrished finish, is that ok?
Hello 👋 How are you doing today?

Oil controlling primer (try Hourglass) and use his first tip. Press in powder. I use Laura mercier translucent powder. I have super oily skin.
Wonderful. Happy Wednesday from Thailand.

what is your opinion on setting up with the powder on a damp beauty blender?
So, what’s the best way for oily skin tho?
Love this background
God I love this kind of videos. Shorts and very usefull. Thanks Wayne
Ty Wayne. Your the best and you know it! Thats a good thing.

Forever saving us from looking busted !

You are The Best 🥰thank you for information ❤️

Is there a way to get rid of the shadow below the eye cast by glasses? I have big glasses.
Can you name the puff of brand?
When is your cream foundation coming back?
So succinct and always packed with great info.
Thank you. ❤
Great tip
Bish bash boss and there we have it girls and boys, the boss has spoken ❤❤❤

Like getting your finger prints done!!! Wayne! what are you suggesting😉
How do I get your foundation. Beautylish does not have it. I am so disappointed

I still use wet BB too powder or brush for more lightly set
The last technique keeps my makeup on under a mask at work. Except my chin. Love it
❤❤
Doesn't powder age an older skin, thanks
Recommendations for a setting spray? Preferably organic? No harsh chemicals. Thank you! ☺️💕
Hello 👋 How are you doing today??
Subtitulo en Español Gracias!
Maybe learn English ?
Gossy, this may be silly, but I hope someday you catch me touching up my makeup with my Besamé Victorian spider compact. 💜
...Gossy?
@@wangofree yes. His last name is Goss, so some of us who have been watching awhile call him Gossy. LOL he's even called himself Gossy a few times.
@@MorticiaLaMourante I just thought it was funny! Good old Gossy😅
@@wangofree LOL yes it is. I just know if I ever met him in person, I'd end up calling him Gossy to his face.

Although I have dry skin, I still like blotting paper for my T zone.

Wayne, if you make a powder foundation I will buy the shit out of it for the rest of my life
WAYNEEEE IN LOVE WITH YOU.
I thought you said setting spray was a LIE?
I love the short videos. I hate when people desperately try to make a video longer in order to make more money by advertising
💚😍
I’ve got to ask you. Do you really use all of this stuff daily? Really?
