I thought I was the only one who has a missing gap in my lashes. Not the worst part of getting older but it's annoying. Wayne is an awesome teacher. Nobody demonstrates technique like he does. 😊❤️

I love how these videos are suited to a variety of makeups styles and sensibilities. Not everyone wants to go full glam every day (and besides, it’s super expensive!) and having such adaptable and scalable methods is wonderful. It teaches people to take what they want into their own hands, as opposed to pressuring to conform to every trend as though it’s gospel. Fantastic!

I’m in my 50s, always had deep set dark eyes with very hooded lids and ethnic darkness under the eyes. You have no idea how helpful this was !!!!!!❤️
I’m in my 50’s too with hooded eyes and I never have worn eye shadow and would like to. Kind of feel like I need to now…a little pick me up. And it’s about time, right? This is helpful and I’m going to be brave and try. I like the first shade he used.

Yeah me too! I work at the airport so I start work at 6:30 or 7 am most mornings. On those days I don't wear any makeup. Lol

One thing I never see anyone using which surprises me because I have such great luck with it, is a simple eyelash comb. Using it while my mascara is still wet, it separates without having to use the mascara wand which adds more product (not always desirable). I can also use it to coax errant lashes that are pointing wacky ways, and even using it slowly and tilting it so the edge of the solid part touches the lashes allows me to curl them a little! It's got so many uses. The only rule is to make sure you use it while the mascara is still wet, because if it dries combing will make it flake.
I don't know why more people don't use it! Even if my mascara application looks fine, I'll run the comb through it once just to make it even better.

I can see that look added to with a dark eyeshadow applied to the base of the lashes
(You’ve demonstrated that technique) and a few other tricks.

The vein may be treatable by a specialist with simple saline injection.

When you mentioned "The vein". Suddenly, that old song came to my brain. My Abbey Normal brain. "You're so Vain (Vein). I bet you thought the video was about you. You're so Vain (vein). Wayne, I couldn't resist. Back to the content of the video. It really does help me to watch these. My lid is a little messed up on my right side. Its taken some abuse from another time in life and I do have to be a bit more careful as I apply and blend so that an old injury doesn't look more pronounced. This tutorial was perfect for me amd I thank you. Also. There will still be new followers that see this current video and be so thrilled they saw this. Not everyone is going to dig thru years of videos to find an old tutorial, (I do) but many won't and this not only is helpful for us that have been here from the beginning but the newest followers as well.

Wayne, I am writing this comment to thank you; not just for this video but all your videos. I have learned so much from you and my make up application has improved greatly from your instruction. You are such a good teacher and have really given me a wonderful gift. We went out last night for dinner with family and I couldn’t believe how good my makeup looked when I was done getting ready. I did not look overdone or underdone but just what I was aiming for and the result made me feel pretty. I wish I could show you how it turned out. I also completed my makeup quickly. I used to be hesitant, especially when it came to eyeshadow, but through your videos and frankly just a little trial and error, I’ve really upped my game. So, thank you so very much for all you do and please know how I adore you (and that gorgeous mother-in-law). Lastly, I don’t understand the business side of things but it is baffling to me how there isn’t a Wayne Goss cosmetics store in every mall in America.
This is the best way to go . !! Thank you Wayne I’m a mature lady I never used a transition shade. I always did my eyes shadow as you shown in your video. I tried the transition shade way but all I got was a muddy eye. I love that you have did this video.

This is such great advice…and simple to follow. Even if I do more complicated looks sometimes it is great to have a simple every day look that can be done quickly

Love this easy idea! A few years ago you gave permission for me to not use mascara on my bottom lashes because they are crap. I appreciate that suggestion. I have a few really good bottom lashes but I also have some weird gaps.

So pretty🙂 I’ve got most of my other makeup applications down except this one. Super deep set eyes so “complicated” shadow when I attempt looks like a black hole lol no matter the color. This inspired me to give shadow another shot
