Chef Zee! This might not be much, but I wanted to take a minute to let you know that your channel is everything we need on RUclips. I’ve been watching you for over 5+ years now and every meal I’ve made using your recipe and tricks have been out of this world. I pray that God blesses you in your personal life and for your channel to keep growing endlessly. May God bless you always and never doubt that you are appreciated and love ❤️
The tea amps up the cinnamon flavor. But careful not to make it too strong because I find it will over power the drink. Nonetheless it will still be tasty! 😋 thanks for watching!
I make a hella strong tea but with less water I also add one or two star anise and lots of cloves (only cause I looove cloves) but I never put in the whole tea maybe about 3 to 4 tbsp cause I’m always afraid I’m gonna water it down too much lol
This is a great recipe, pretty much the way I make it. Also adding anise stars and ginger to the tea gives it a nice bite to the Coquito. Great video. Greetings from Puerto Rico!!!
I too use ground cinnamon and ground cloves! The tea is the most important part! YES! I make mine vegan because I have drama with lactose. I love your channel and seeing that my recipe is identical to yours brings me joy! Happy holidays to you.
Excellent! I made a pistachio version today after having a coworker prepare me a bottle for Thanksgiving! It was delicious! I added pistachio ice cream as well to mine and listen that tea is the truth! I added star anise, ginger, cloves and cinnamon. When I tell you using brandy set it off😫❤️Mines is fantastic! I’ll be indulging tomorrow because I want the flavors to marry overnight. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
Please make a vegan version. I haven't done it however I did find condensed and evaporated coconut. Shoprite and wholefoods. Thanks for your videos always.
I’m usually a big fan of your recipes, but I tried this and it came out very watery. I think the tea watered down the drink too much. Maybe one cup versus two.

I've been wanting to try coquito for years, but I'm allergic to coconut, but I might have to risk it lol.
