🦋 You are beYoutiful inside and out; I love you!
Watching this video with my Pacifica patch on my forehead, Tretinoin under it and the ordinary argilene too.
I'm not going to do injections, but I'm trying to keep this 41year old skin up to date. Ageing is a privilege and I'm doing it gracefully 😍 wish me luck! 😅
Maybe you can help me out: I just bought the Pacifica patch. Can it be used alone or in conjunction with a serum? (I use the Dermatica tretinoin in the evening)
How is it to be reused hygienically?
@@BarbaraT. Yes, I use it with my serums. I apply all my skin care, then the patch and leave it on for 30-90 min!
@@elin_ I was out with regular facial cleanser and let it air dry. It comes in a metal tin (with air holes) with a foil to put it back on. I didn't have any issues.
@@judithtidwell849 can you use it to "freeze" the frown lines?
Don’t forget polarized sunglasses! Helps stop you from squinting, and protects the delicate skin around your eyes from UV light. So fewer 11s, crows feet, etc, but also reduces the speed at which cataracts form so you’ll be able to see longer without having to have eye surgery.
Good point! I’ve only just started keeping a pair of sunglasses in my car, it’s such a game changer lol
I bought those forehead patches in different manufacturers, and they were OK. But I found for the 11 lines that good old scotch tape works the best. I put a couple of small pieces on my 11 lines and wake up in the morning and they’re gone. I’m 66 years old and here to prove that not all 11 lines Need Botox. I am a side sleeper and after years of laying on my side and my skin sagging one way in the other. Because it’s the wrinkles. When I put tape between my eyebrows, the skin cannot sag or fold. Hence, no wrinkles. It works wonders and has saved me a lot of money. I get better results from the tape than I do Botox. You must first determine what the wrinkles are caused from, either movement of the muscle or side, sleeping in the laxity of skin due to sleeping on the side. Try it, it’s great.
I decided to "turn and learn" my own vitamin c serum I'm using now ($25) and it has Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate! It's the Womanness Fountain of Glow, bought it on sale at ulta not too long ago.
Bangs. Bangs are my weapon for the 11’s. 😂
Mmmmhhhh... That's smart !
Everyone let's scream "retiinooiidds"
If there too harsh and drying they can end up causing those lines and making you older as well though.
My skin has never looked worse after using tretinoin it left me with visible scars
@@Name..........you just have to apply plenty of high quality moisturizers when using it to avoid that!
@@elliesmith3321 AND don't pile it on every night all at once! Build it up slowly over time with -yes- plenty of moisturizer!
@@Name..........tret is not the only option for retinoids. There are gran active retinoids, adapaline, retinals, and retinols, all available at different strengths and price points. While tret is the most potent does not make it the best option for everyone.
I use the ordinary Buffet serum on my frown lines, it reduces dramatically and I was shocked with the result.
I just got mine at tj maxx for $16.99!!! My jaw dropped when I saw the price!! Score for me, thanks to you!!
Just started botox for 11's and forehead. And it's the best thing ever!!!! Unfortunately it's expensive and doesn't last too long. I definitely will be asking the little mermaid for some help 🤣 I've heard frownies are great for in-between botox sessions too
Tbf you could argue that when you add up a lifetime of sunscreen, retinol, vit c serum, moisturiser etc probably comes to way more than one face lift when things really start going south idk 😂 my ‘lines of inquiry & confusion’ are already the worst ones 😅 I just like taking part in the life long skin care experiment ritual and see how much difference it makes, compared to those who weren’t sunscreen obsessed 😂 I need to know if it’s worth the eye sting really 🙈
AM: C E Ferulic + SPF50; PM: Hydrating Cleanser + Tretinoin + Moisturiser. I'm a man (37) and I'm being ask all the time about my skin routine so I guess it's working. That's all I use. Nothing more, nothing less. And yes, I don't cleanse in the morning - I don't sleep with pigs. I only cleanse in the evening coz of the SPF50 that I've been re-applying throughout the day. Oh, I use Garnier SPF as they use same filters as La Roche Posey which is more expensive so why would I pay more. I'm not a fool lol happy days.
I just found THD in one of Paula’s Choice antioxidant serums for under 40$. I already use some Paula’s Choice products and I have never been disappointed.
Frownies patches are my best solution. ❤
I really love The Ordinary .5% retinol in squalene. I think its helped my skin so much in the 2/3 months I've used it. I definitely want to add vitamin C to my routine though!
My 11 lines started when I broke up with my long term boyfriend when I was 24. I was depressed and always frowned. I noticed when it started when I look back at the few photos of myself from that time. At 30 I’m now getting married and happy but the 11 lines are still there. I don’t like them because they make me look like I’m unhappy when it’s not what I feel at all. I’m happy again. I wish my face could show what I’m really feeling.
My dear late husband of 30 years never mentioned that I SCOWL In my sleep! 30 Years!! THEN while on a road trip my sister said I looked like I was doin Calculus in my sleep. Frownies are great, they stop the scowl for sleep but I was tired of always looking angry, Major ELEVENS so I have gotten Botox and I Love it but it is freaking expensive. It’s so nice to not be scowling all the time😊
I was born 11/11 also! 11 has always been my lucky number! 🦋
The ordinary does have a product that contains Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate for $23 Canadian. The product name is FAscorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F
I use timeless
And also geek and gorgeous. Very affordable using it for years
I just started trying Paula’s choice intensive wrinkle repair retinol serum , at first honestly I freaked out a little bit because it is oily but now everything makes more sense. It has tetrahexyldecyl so I’ll let you know if I start looking like if I was 25 again 😂
Did you see if that ingredient is in it??
@@luxbunny8678 I was curious after watching this video because I bought the serum months ago but because of the oily texture I was very hesitant to start using it. It does have that ingredient.
So far I fell like it’s actually working 😱
I have Botox in my glabellar complex because I do it as part of my Botox for migraine protocol. The added benefit is less forehead wrinkles. I really need to start getting my masseters done by a cosmetic injector or a tmj specialist because for a while my neurologist was doing it and it helped so much with symptoms and the shape of my face. It reduced the look of jowling.
@AnnaBananaBeBe - What kind of Dr would I have to go to get Botox Injections for Migraines & TMJ/Masseter(sp?) Grinding? Would it be a Neurologist or some other Specialist?? Thank you in Advance!!
@@ColorMeErin mine was initiated by my neurologist and now is done by a pain management doctor!
As much as I hate ewg, their database is useful for finding products with a precise ingredient in, like that oil soluble vit. C. I found like 15+ options
12:05 Wonder Woman????? hihihihihih loved the video... I'm a 42 man with a skin of 30 thanks to your channel... Argeline + Niacinamide + Pepides + HA during the day, and Retinol + AH at night have done wonders in one year... A little AHA+BHA once a week also, heheheh. I feel better, I fell beautiful my skin is something from another planet, some days I even get glass skin without even trying hahahah THANK YOU, THANK YOU and THANK YOOOOOU
The ordinary has the tetraisopalmitate in vitamin f which is that vitamin c derivative. It costs around £20 in UK
I'm gonna try them all babes!! Thanks so much!!!
❤❤❤❤
I have a 1 between my brows (as opposed to an 11). Years ago I would sleep every night with a bandaid over the area. Sort of a pro type for Frownies. It didn’t get rid of it but I woke in the morning with a smooth forehead.
Currently trying Argireline on my "1" line lol.
Hi Cassandra, thank you for your very helpful and informative videos! Just want to share my recent purchase with you as the vitamin C oil is much cheaper yet contains your favourite Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate. Its called Oleus Vitamin C Oil and I got mine from Holland and Barrett in England. They have a great deal on it atm Buy 1 get 1 half price 😻 so awesome deal! I hope this will help someone else too 😊
I really love your videos, you are absolute star! I can't imagine my life without CeraVe SPF 50 thanks to you and the Haru Haru moisturising water is great too (although one needs to get used to its slight stickiness).
It would be cool if you could talk on Argan oil, spider veins and best products for our hands and how to tackle the aging in this area.
Thank you,
Karerina
I envy everyone who notices any effects after using creams. At 44 my skin is already... hanging and I hate it. I have tried expensive retinol/retinal creams, vitamine c and argireline 10% serums and I have noticed NO improvement whatsoever. 😢 I've also done prp (3 treatments) and microneedling which gave me some glow and that's it. I'm honestly more and more disappointed with creams and in-office treatments!
It sounds like you need specific skin tightening treatments. Those are really a different type. So probably ultherapy. That needs to be done carefully and can melt fat so not an all over the face idea.
I found the Evenskyn Venus gives me good results on the 11s - granted they weren't very pronounced, but after one month of using the Venus they are no longer visible...
I caught a talk a few years back about a physical education teacher talking about his underarms. He would make sure to work out his muscles in this area to prevent his skin from dropping. He would also watch his figure for the same reason.
I believe something similar could be done with our face. In the condition to know how to work out the "right muscles".
I came across Face Yoga Method RUclips channel. I believe in her work.
I also wonder if massages can help.
I wanna explore others options. 'Cause I don't any procedures done. I was traumatized as a kid seeing old woman whom had wrinkles free face, and still are when I see how far some people would go. You could always tell something is off !!!
Therefore, although I do believe procedures could be tastely done, I don't wanna go that path.
Working out the muscles in our faces, or prevent its to move to delay wrinkles to settle in, I hope could end with the same results. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Using the NIRA device nightly and Argireline serum have helped mine immensely.
I love Vegreen's vitamin c, which is oil soluble. It makes my skin so soft
Hi Cassandra. I just bought the Pacifica brow patch. Question: do you need to use a serum underneath the patch or can you use it alone? Thanks 💖
I think you can do whichever option you like
Hi there! Have you done a deep dive on Allies of Skin, yet? My 63 year old face has seen major changes for the better since adopting their line. Incredible! I’d love to hear your opinion.
Hi Megan, if you don't mind, what Allies products do you use and what were the effects? I have tried some products and haven't been impressed, especially for the price...
@@liviusss everything, great softening of lines, clarity and even color. Wash, vit c, serums OMG. I’ve always used tretenoin and vitamin c 20%. The 35% is bomb. The sleeping facial mask (3 nights) is amazing. Most skin care doesn’t do anything. These products work. Try fractional contour (niod) and eye cream. My undereyes are beautiful.
@@liviusssI tried 3 differents brands of vitamin C. They are not equals, that's why I believe it will depends of the brands you picked.
I don’t have a single line on my forehead yet lol. I hope it can stay this way for a while.
Also sleeping in frownies is a must for me❤
My dermatologist said I should start sleeping on my back. Tummy and side sleeping can cause and/or make your ‘11’ lines worse!
Yep, sadly not an option for some of us so I take comfort in reminding myself of that study that saw an almost 4x increased risk of dementia in back sleepers 😅
I live in a very sunny place, and only in my late 20 i started to use sun glasses, so I have those 11 showing🥲
You suggested gold eye patches from Amazon a few months ago around $20-$30 bucks and they actually created wrinkles and puffiness under my eyes. My under eye area actually looked better before using them. I decided to stop purchasing them. I'm hoping that I can reverse the damage.
the study abt vitamin c shown in the video only worked with 10 patients, which is way to little to say anything. Normally you would want at least a few hundred people to test smth like this. Don´t get me wrong, it does´t mean that vitamin c doesn´t work, it just means that this paticular study has to be put into perspective
Review minimalist all products..... They have so many great products.... Just need ur review.. Sis
Cass what about Ascorbic Acid and Alpha Arbutin from the ordinary isn't that a vitamin c oil based product?
I get the Ordinary one..
I've been using on my hypapigmentation on my cheeks and I'm 53 and it's fabulous ❤
I use retinol one night a week. My skin can’t take retinol too much
Try the adapalene - I can even use it on my neck which other retinoids make look like hamburger, it's that mild (and cheap!)
I wouldn't recommend adapalene which is prescription strenght to someone who struggles with retinol already but I do think it's worth giving retinAl a chance, it has been shown to be better tolerated in most people while providing the same or even better results as it is a conversion above retinol. Avene, Medik8, Naturium, Geek&Gorgeous and other brands make great ones.
What‘s the difference between Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate and Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate?
Cassandra, which sunscreen should I use in Australian sun? I don't understand. Please suggest me something. One for face and one for body. Thanks
Kinda a sidebar - but it's always curious to me that Americans love 11-11 and think of it as fun or a time to make a wish and in Canada and Britain 11-11-11-11 is the moment's silence for fallen soldiers and one of the most sombre days of the year
We also observe Veteran's Day in the United States (previously known as Armistice Day) which marked the end of World War I (on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month). It is also a very somber observance with many events taking place in most cities and towns in the United States. It is a national holiday where federal and state businesses are closed as well as schools.
I was born on 11/11 and my dad was a Marine Corp veteran who fought in the Korean conflict and was severely burned. We took Veteran's Day very seriously in our home. There are many of us who do take it seriously, it is on the news every year.
re cheaper products - mdik8 C-Tetra £30.49 - don't know if it's as good???
i've basically had them since i was a teenager and now they literally show when i'm at rest (i'm 35) *CRIES*
Argireline didn't do anything for me and I used 3 bottles. Was really disappointed.
Great video!
Cassandra- can any skincare go hinder the patches? Like a full nighttime routine (copper peptides, Matrixyl, retinol. Are there any products that should not?
Thank you!❤
Question I furrow brow in my sleep. Can you use silicone patch over tretinoin? Or does it trap it causing irritation?
Heeeey Cassandra! I splurged recently for the perricone ccc serum you recommended here. Question: is application before hyraloronic acid or after or can I eliminate hyra on the days I use this?
Anyone else find those patches just create new fold and wrinkles as they pull on your skin?
So this is on the pricey side but Clarity rx has a vitamic c oil serum that is so nice and lightweight. I think its around a 20% and around 90-100 bucks
Do you suggest putting the vitamin C serums in the refrigerator to help them not to spoil?
I call them my WTF Lines. The depth of them shows you how many times I've thought to myself, "What the F***?!". Mine are deep.
Getting the ROC line filler retinoid treatment
Where does Vit C fit into layering serums since it oil?
Could you discuss sinoxin 2 which is basically hyped as botox in a tube?
Hi! Do you know anything about the Morpheus8 treatment?? One of my local estheticians have been promoting it HEAVILY and I'd love to know your thoughts on it!
I don't really have 11 lines but instead I have a loss of volume in that area. It's hard to explain without being able to post a picture. But is there a way to put volume there?
I would love some advice for scarring I am an addict to picking squeezing and scanning my face it's a compulsive behaviour called ( dermatillomania ) which has left my skin so scarred with hyperpigmentation and very large dips where I picked so much
I know creams won't turn the clock back but is there anything I can use that will let me actually see a difference fairly quickly? part of the problem with my condition is that cause my skin looks bad I tend to pick more cause the damage is already done (I'm aware that's not the way to think about it) I'm 38 very pale with freckles so it makes my scaring so much more obvious being pale I can't spot conceal cause of my freckles in I've found that the older I'm getting the healing time takes longer any advice from someone who has this condition or has treated this condition would be absolutely amazing 🤩🤩🤩
Fan from Japan 🇯🇵
The ordinary has ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate would that work instead.
I started taking a daily multivitamin that features 100% of my daily value of Vitamin A, and I noticed a huge difference in my 11 lines over just a couple months! It was more than ANY skincare or topical treatment, including Tretinoin. I didn't start the multivitamin for my skin, but it's nice to see the proof it's working!
Please please please be carfeful with fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin A!
An overdose can lead to toxicity because your body doesn't excrete any excess - it stores it.
Other fat-soluble vitamins are E,D and K.
I call my 11s my Antennaes! Either I Evolved from an Ant or someday I'll get Beamed back up into the Mother Ship & taken back to my Planet. 😂
Frownies, along with tretinoin (adapalene on my off tret nights) have significantly reduced my forehead wrinkles. I'll never not use them.
Paula’s choice has a product with tetrahexadecyl ascorbate for $43! I may have to try it…
Does anyone know how to stop "scowling" in your sleep?? I literally only get thèse in my sleep! It's soooo frustrating. 😮💨
Patches help with that.
I found my in tjmaxx for almost $40 but was the big bottle!!
You are so pretty ❤
Any of these products good for Eczema prone to Dry Skin
I still haven't found a non-greasy sunscreen. 😟😟
so that explains why i dont have forehead wrinkles im not very expressive with my face i just have resting neutral face i am getting those lines under the eyes and hollow eyes 😅
Is it ok to use vitamin c and retinoids at the same time then? (You just did, idk if you realized that though hance my question :)) Thanks!
Can you please do an acne k beauty routine???
Please, PLEASE stop the quack!
@adrianagv, I'm trying, I've expressed this to my editing team so fingers crossed but please be patient. Have a wonderful and productive week.
I’m sad you didn’t mention the C ingredient products under $100. I/ we need to know a few “Cassandra Approved” specialties PLZ ;>
She does have seperate vitamin c videos: )
@@neyisek6928 Yup thanks~ I’ve seen. Just the quick (newest) recommended *for/ with this specific targeted ingredient would be a benefit.
Ordinary has an ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution.
alsooo born 11/11 at 11:10 LOL. love this :)
I don’t have 11 line, I have a flatline and I hate it.
So it's either The Ordinarys junkie $10 one that doesn't work or spend $140-$180 on the good ones, no in between?
Cassandra never responds to questions, why ?
What about neck lines?
Is the ordinary vitamin c has the special formula?
Um, Perricone MD. Vitamin C Ester...it says $35.00. ??!!!
I'd need those frown patches for when I sleep. I have a lot of nightmares, so I'd need something on my frown area that prevents it from moving. But how can they be reusable?
Man does she talk a mile a minute!
Currently trying the glow recipe vit C which has the TTHC. I wonder if its any good. I never hear talk about it
Are all the THD ascorbate oil based? Peter Thomas Roth has a serum that is about $100, ouch!
You did not talk about what you advertised 😢
I wouldn't mind fine lines so much but I'm more furrowed in between my eyebrows :( what to do about that
Overnight kinesiology taping is excellent for reducing and preventing frown lines. There are loads of instructional videos from Dr's, Derms and physiotherapists on the Tube.
I haven't watched you for a while Cassandra. Mainly because your hyper speed style of influencing gives me anxiety. It's like watching a video on fast forward. But when did you start constantly swearing. It's not very professional for an 'educational' video. Maybe Chill out a bit girl. There are probably kids watching too :/
I agree she stressed me out big time I said to myself she is crazy I had to take a xanax after I watched it LOL😅
Hey 11/11 at 11!
I'm a 6/6 at 6!
😁
I have line on my front because im expressive asf im 22 it's complex me a lot tbh :(
The animal beep sound in the background is so annoying
Tret works too right??
Yes, obviously as it is the strongest stuff with most research behind it.
Love this channel however its annoying the duck quack used to cover the swearing. Either own the swearing or just don't swear in the first place. Enough with the quack
11/11 is national single s day in China.
Also im surprised there isnt more cleansers and moisturizers video's on this channel
