Import Textures to your Scene in Blender

In today's tutorial, I will be showing you how to download, import and apply textures to your meshes or objects in Blender 2.9. This is relatively easy which is why the video is so short! I used ambientCG to download my files but you can use other websites which will also be linked below, they are tested and trusted as I use them myself!

That's interesting. I've never had that image before. Is it due to lighting in your scene? Make sure you're in Material view and not in Rendered view.
Have you also tried a different scene in Blender to see if it is the same issues on all of Blender or just one scene?

Is it possible to make the texture repeat if I stretch it out? I'm working with tiles, and I'd rather not have to copy and paste 100 tiles to have them all actually be different tiles.

Thats might be because you're not in rendered mode if you want to get into render mode just look at the top right corner and there should be 4 modes choose the one furthest to the right

Bad tutorial, texture is super stretched and bad quality.

Go to the UV menu and select all the faces from the stretched texture. Press 'U' and then press unwrap and you can customise the size of the texture
