I enjoy the chaos that is the naming/numbering of the Droids too, as just when you think you've cracked the code, it's contradicted somewhere else. 🤣 Looking forward to more updates in the future as the collection continues to grow.
Great collection of astromech droids... I have that black R2 unit with the 2nd Death Star hologram. I got it for like $5.00 dollars. Great video, keep up the great work guys... 👏👏🔥
Great collection Adam. I think I must have the Star Tours version of R4-M9 as he’s a lighter green. I picked him up loose for my Tantive IV corridor and thought he might have been a bit faded as never knew about the variant. I’ve got T7 and Q5 too, but wound love an R3-D3 now 😁 Great video, looking forward to seeing the other 55+ astromechs 👍😁
Cheers Scott! Yeah, I want to say the Star Tours one is slightly more expensive too, so could be worth looking out for the other one. I just finished the POTJ episode today. I think any non Jedi factfile cards are from 2002, including the Star Tours irrespective of the series no. I think that’s correct mate. Yeah all the sneak peak are bigger bubbles, there were 4 in total. The rest is on my video including details on the Japan cards 👍
Just reinforcing the theory that only 3rd variations of R-Series Astromech Droids had clear domes. I'm not 100 percent sure of this opinion, however, I have never seen a clear dome on any astromech droid except for an R3 unit. This doesn't make any of us accurate but, at least we're on the same page. 😉 I also have that R2-Q5, and it makes me want to get other Imperial Droids such as R4-I9, R5-J2, & R4-K5.😩("...but I want 'em now")
😂 I feel the same way about wanting them all immediately! I had a double of R4-I9 a few months back but sold it on eBay! 🤦🏼♂️ I think I might do the 30th anniversary astromechs for part 2. Thanks for watching! 👍🏻
