Great Christmas 🎄 gifts 🎁 for both of you!

Great pickups gents! Steph did one hell of a job! A couple of collection goals met, and some really nice surprises. I kind of kick myself for opening that Arc Trooper pack because the packaging was so nice and they re-released all those figures in the main line. Oh well, live and learn. I picked up a few of those Bossk/IG-88/Snot trooper packs back in the day because I put Bossk in quite a few of my displays and I was army building the snowtrooper! That could be why they are so hard to find now. I find it hilarious that Martyn did not have any of the channel merch until now. 😁

Those Chandrila Star Line carded figures are AMAZING.

Great analysis gentlemen! I really enjoyed these episodes. Episode 5 being the majority of the action and a Episode 6 being the breather/character episode. We finally see KB's "medical condition" and I thought it was well done. I'm about 8.5 for both episodes. Could've done with out the hermit crabs (they ultimately didn't do anything) and Jod's sea shanty, but otherwise really enjoyed it. I'm assuming the return to At Attin will be next week with the kids helping to ready the defense against the pirate attack in typical Goonies/Iron Eagle fashion because they've seen the defenses on At Achron.

Another solid review. Enjoyed the character development but these two episodes would have flowed better as one long episode. Still strong though, I just hope the remaining two episodes can resolve all the plot points they’ve been building to.

Many thanks for asking me to be apart of your Skeleton Crew series. And being on with Dave was a pleasure (as it always is with you Long guys!) Like I said, I'm looking forward to seeing how this ends in the coming two episodes.

Happy new year everyone! I actually enjoyed Episode 6 more than 5- 5 was a little too much Goonies/Last Crusade, although I did really enjoy it. Liked the Miyazaki references (and Dave's catbus- looks like the one my friend bought in Japan about 20 years ago!). I just felt episode 6 had the right balance of character development and wonder which is what I want from Star Wars.

Yeah I agree with Adam, 7/10 for me on the last episode. Great review and chat as always chaps 👍👍

Enjoyable watch, for me episode 6 was weak but that’s just I don’t like stuff when it’s slow and I why they showed conflict between the kids but not sure it was needed. Episode 5 was great. A lot to wrap up in last few episodes with them being so short

Another fantastic video guys and some great pickup choices, some favourites of mine in there too. Completely agree about counting The Ghost Crew as one as they are a set, especially for a carded collector. Those figures and cardbacks are just amazing, would have to count The Ghost as my Number 1 of the year. I finally picked up a Kenner Farmboy Luke this year, for a modest price, and he’d be in my top 10 as well I think. Finally getting Jabba and building out that throne room was also another highlight. As you both said interacting with our wonderful community has also been amazing this year, especially meeting people at NEC and Echo in April. I made a few first appearances on RUclips this year which was fun and hope to continue this in 2025 as well as hopefully getting to more toy fairs, Echo and NEC in the Spring are in my diary 😊 Thanks for all the great content and the friendship over the year Adam and Martyn, Happy New Year to you both! 👍😊

Great lists gents! Definitely love both #1s. That bounty hunter pack is one of my favorites and the homage to the vintage figures in style and the names is something I absolutely love! If you're going to break a "rule" for your collection the Starspeeder 3000 is an excellent excuse. I would also keep the Ghost around...it's a fantastic vehicle! Of course one of the best highlights was meeting up with you and Stephanie, Martyn...hope to someday meet Adam and his family! Looking forward to even more fun in the new year!

Always a great time looking back at the pick ups from the year. So many cool items added to both of your collections. It's very challenging to narrow it down, but you guys did a great job doing so. Having watched all your pickup episodes throughout the year, I was certainly interested to see what would make the top 10. Solid top 10's without a doubt. Wishing you both a very prosperous, healthy, and Happy New Year's. Can't wait to see what next year's hunting brings to your collections.

I feel that this episode is basically setting the stage for the rest of the series, it added a few more bits and puzzle pieces to the mystery that's ongoing and had some character development as well. Maybe not as amazing as some of the previous episodes but still a good one in my opinion. Looking forward to today's episode (12/24) and catching your two episode review next week. Oof! Episode 3 taking a beating by today's guests.... But I do agree, when you look at the show from your childhood point of view / a kids point of view, I think it is better (as that's the general audience that it's aimed for). As an adult, I'm still enjoying it, but I can tell that I'm not the target audience, which is completely fine. I think we all know that the folks at Disney looked at many of the properties that were popular with kids from our childhood years and tried to mesh them together into something for Star Wars fans new and old to enjoy. And so far, kudos to them for hitting a lot of those notes well without being right on the nose. I'm really fascinated with Martyn's theories as well in regards to the planet and the Sith and using it to finance the return of the Emperor and his monster fleet that we see at in TROS. 🤔 And yeah, I can see where one might feel the Owl character kind of takes you out of it a bit, but at the same time I think kids probably love that character & I didn't mind personally. But she is a little bit Harry Potter-esque, that's a fair point. I sure hope that Crimson Jack is not in any way Jedi or ever part of the order, but just has some for sensitivity. That to me makes more sense, as in this galaxy anyone can have force sensitivity. Somebody with a little bit of force sensitivity would make for a great pirate or con man, which is how I think this one is playing out. As for the discussion of "What is Star Wars" and is "X" content Star Wars or not Star Wars, I think that depends on the person watching. I hate to be a gatekeeper for SW in general, but I can appreciate that people have different feelings on what they feel Star Wars should be. I know I have feelings about that as I would prefer to see things closer to George Lucas Star Wars, but there are bits of content out there that GL wouldn't have put out, like Andor, that I actually love & adore. But if Star Wars is for everybody, then there should be Star Wars content aimed for different types of fans. At our age, having seen so many films and having spent so much time breaking them down, it's hard not to watch new content without comparing it two things we've already watched. Every once in a while they'll be something new that really stands out, but a lot of the things that we (our generation) find most entertaining and enjoyable have some sort of nostalgia back to things from our past, at least that's how I feel from my perspective. Definitely some difference of opinion for this episode in your reviews, but I applaud you guys for trying to keep it on the rails as it's easy to get sidetracked with things we've been discussing for years in regards to the franchise. Looking forward to watching your episode 4 review soon & seeing where this show goes with the remaining episodes.
