Recipe: 16oz of cottage cheese, 4 eggs (no salt, seasoning). Blitz with immersion blender. Pour into two 1/4 sheet pans lined with parchment (no oil) 350 deg F for 30 mins. Makes four servings.
Replace sandwich bread, pizza crust-ish, wraps, etc.
Does it taste eggy? The eggy taste is why I've avoided most low/no-carb "breads."
I know if overcooked, it tastes more eggy. I'm wondering if ricotta or mascarpone would make a difference in an eggy flavor..
Celcius? Centilitres, litres?

@@Biggan503 Recipe: 453 grams of cottage cheese, 4 eggs (no salt, seasoning). Blitz with immersion blender. Pour into two 1/4 sheet pans lined with parchment (no oil) 176.6 deg Celsius for 30 mins. Makes four servings 😄 I am seriously going to make this! Home made cottage cheese is so easy to make.
@@mandy-leedilley502, thank you!
I call myself ketovore. I allow myself small amounts of non-meat seasoning and toppings. Fish, meat, and eggs make up over 95% of my calories. I don't seem to have any issues with (zero sugar) seasonings, small amounts of cheese, or small amounts of low carb veggies. I believe I am more strict than many people who call themselves carnivore but TBH I don't really care what people call me. My goal is excellent metabolic health and I am doing well on my current meat-based diet.
I am a bit like you. 95% of my diet is critters. I don't have any adverse reactions from anything but I'm still pretty strict about things like sugar and disgusting seed oils which I know are inflammatory even if I don't see it right away. A little bit of avocado or some lettuce for crunch in my wrap or onion on my burger is okay with me. Wouldn't eat it if it affected me adversely. But I'm a wild card because if once every couple months I want an ice cream cone, I'll go buy one. I'm glad I don't have to be as strict as some people. Oh the healing I've experienced!
Carnivore is anything over 70% meat technically
I think of myself as low carb, but have been told I am both keto and carnivore. I think it might vary day to day and season to season.
I'm about the same. I'm carnivore, but not super strict. I mainly eat eggs and meat, but also a bit of dairy, mainly cheese(and butter of course), occasionally some cream. But I allow myself spices, tea, coffee, cocoa, and occasionally a bit of dark chocolate(80%+). Saturday is my "cheat day." (a little bit of Chocolate allowed, 10g of regular 80%+, or 25g if no added sugar, which I have with a glass of cream, about 2dl/6.7oz).
This is me too, currently.
2 years in - now it's beef, butter (LOTS of butter), bacon, eggs, avacado, sourkraut, salt, and balsamic vinegar. Sometimes chicken wings or shrimp for fun. I gave up dairy and sweeteners. I used to use so many spices and condiments, but finally started using only salt, and it's really retrained my palate to appreciate plain food. Much easier for me to stay animal based now. I don't fuss over food when we eat out, though, I just try not to go off the rails.
I'm just realizing how great balsamic vinegar is! It's so good with meat.
@tammiehammett5054
Sauerkraut is great with meat too, especially beef 😊
@@kathystearns9012 Yes it is! I ferment my own purple cabbage. I heard from Dr Berg that it is the highest in probiotics and vitamin c of any food.
@@tammiehammett5054 and it's a pretty color 💕
Isn’t balsamic high in carb/sugar?
Gosh this is a Dr Atkins recipe from when he was still alive. A lot of us used either ricotta or cream cheese( Mascarpone). Jamie Van Eaten coined the term OOpsie in her Cleochatra blog. Amazing that good recipes recycle through the years.
Omgosh !!!! Fighting the good fight! I have commented on dozens upon dozens of recipes for “Cloud Bread” correcting them , giving full credit to Cleochatra and her Oopsies, back in the day when most people didn’t even know what keto was. She created so many fab recipes .
Oh my, I remember that from years ago! Now I am rushing to make sure I can make this!
Oh, can use ricotta too 😊
I love how you specify "chicken eggs"....I just ran out of sea turtle eggs😅
😂
😂
This recipe really reminded me of the filling we use in a traditional Greek dish called Tiropita, there is also a version with spinach called Spanakopita. Anyhow, I have been making the cottage cheese version for a while now, but after watching your video a couple of weeks ago, I thought, it's basically the same as the Tiropita I grew up with. So I just substituted the cottage cheese with feta cheese, and some whole cream ricotta (fewer carbs than cottage cheese), seasoned it with pepper (optional), baking the exact same way as you recommend, and which is the same way of baking Tiropita. It made me so happy to have that flavor again, it is literally like eating the dish I grew up with, without any carbs. For anyone who is a fan of Greek food, give that a try. It's amazing.
Ricotta has way more protein than cottage cheese and IMHO, is more delicious.
You can also fry it in a hot buttered pan like a crepe and put butter or sour cream on it.
Thinking of doing this and then cutting into strips and serving with zero sugar syrup for my kiddo for easy healthier French toast .
That seems faster than the oven method. Do you think the texture would be the same? Thanks
Here’s a cool trick you can make with it. You could take the flatbread when it’s done cooking put it back in an air fryer and then the bread will be crispy and you can use it for making pizza. 🍕
How long in the air fryer? And would that be on HI?
@@sparrsheila Make it as crisp as you like your pizza crust to be. You do it a few times and you’ll know exactly how you like it. We’ve been doing it for years.
This is such a splendid share 🎉 thank you
@@spicesmiles Very welcome. Funny thing is I don’t eat pizza, but the rest of my family does lol.
This works in the air fryer too...great on these especially hot days. I have the Ninja XL PRO with an oblong air fryer basket so just cut parchment to size. Use the bake option at 350 and check at 15 minutes.
Great tip . Ty😅
Ooh thank you
Thanks!
I concur, this hot Summer, instead of using the oven, the air fryer has been a game changer.
Do you cut the batter amount in half to keep it thin since it's a smaller pan?
I forgot to mention - I love watching you guys play the piano together!! You both are amazing!
so sweet!
I am a strict carnivore and have been for 5 years. It is the best lifestyle, there's no going back.
Yes ❤ No way I'm going back either!!
How's your cholesterol?
I make cottage cheese and eggs every week. Double the recipe keep it in a mason jar and just bake it up when I need it. 2 cups cottage cheese 4 eggs 1/8 teaspoon salt pepper and garlic power. I add tiny diced jalapeño to the wet mixture cook for 15 minute sprinkle Sharp raw cheddar on the top and continue to back . Omg.
WHOLLY SMOKES!! :) Did you just create "Jalapeno cheese bread" for me?! :) And I JUST went to the grocery story yesterday! lol What brand of sharp raw cheddar cheese did you use, by the way?! I KNOW Velveeta isn't cheese, but I've had no luck finding a REAL sharp cheddar, that does the trick for me! :) I WISH there was a real cheese that tasted like Velveeta, though! lol OH!!! I just thought about an Italian sausage with mustard for this bread!!! :) Can't wait to try it now!
In car 10 days and my fasting glucose is down 90 pts. No insulin! I'm sold!

I hope the Steak and Butter Guy realizes just how lucky he is. Great recipe, can't wait to give it a shot!
8 year carnivore here- I'm very strict, so no coffee, dairy. I' m also a T1 D for 57 years. I simply can't do extras as I'm still healing- 😎🎻♥️
Hi Cindi. I’m also Diabetic Type 1 now for nearly 19 years.
Hahaha I need my coffee every morning!!!!!
I made this yesterday. It was sooo good. I made my cottage cheese from Grassfed Organic Whole Milk. Today, I made a flatbread melted aged cheddar cheese and bacon sandwich. The bacon that I use is uncured bacon. It was just WOW!!! Thanks, Bella!!!
I’d love to know how you make cottage cheese please? 😊
@@Livingmybethlife ... I've done it a couple of ways, but the easiest is using my Instant Pot on yogurt setting. Thirty minutes on high yogurt setting. It'll say boil and then when ready changes to Yogurt and shuts off. Then I pour about 1/2 cup white vinegar in the milk and let it sit for 30 minutes. Strain using cheesecloth or whatever cloth you have. Let it drain for about 30 minutes. Cottage cheese is ready to use. I just used a 1/2 gallon of milk. The recipe called for 1 gallon, but the 1/2 gallon gave me 2 cups of cheese. Do a search bar search for making cottage cheese. You can do it by cooking on top of stove to 190 deg F. If you do, you have to be careful to not do it fast or too high of a temp. Once I started using it in my Instant Pot, I never did the stove top method again. Good luck, You can make cream cheese, too. Same method... just blend the curds.
Best way to be carnivore for me is to be Keto that leans heavy to Carnivore
Same 💃🏼
Same here
Same I’m more carnivore but I also eat berries.

That's me also 😊
Just made a carnivore pepperoni pizza with this flatbread as the crust! It was my first time making food like this, and it turned out surprisingly well 🙌
The crust was this flatbread, then sauce made with butter and heavy cream cooked on low heat until thick, then mozzarella cheese and pepperonis on top. Put the whole thing on a rotating pizza oven heating the upper part until the cheese melted, and viola 🍕 It tasted like normal pizza! This is a great once-in-a-while treat that doesn't throw me off track. Thanks, Bella!
Thanks. I came here hoping to find someone who'd made pizza with this, especially pepperoni. Cheers
@@nathansmith6914 Me too.
@@meredith3588 I made the recipe and fried it in a non stick pan. Cooked both sides, added some pepperoni and pizza cheese, fried a bit more, finish in oven for 5 minutes or so. Let cool just a little on breadboard and the bottom was solid and crispy, you could hold the little pieces like normal pizza. Hands down the best keto or carnivore pizza base. I was blown away.
@@nathansmith6914 Haha, I just made another pepperoni pizza today, and it was scrumptious 😋 Although, I wanna find an alternative to the pepperoni that doesn't have any plant ingredients in it... I have this odd, sharp pain in my right calf today. And the heavy whipping cream has carrageenan in it. Anyway, pepperoni pizza is nice as an occasional treat, or at least for now, since I already have the pepperoni slices in the fridge 🙃
By the way, I usually only eat organic, grass-fed ground beef (and unsalted Kerrygold butter, but lately, butter disgusts me somehow. Is it because my body is ready for fat loss now?). This way of eating got rid of all my facial acne (just a few pimples) after a trip, and then today, I got a pimple after eating a bit of that pizza yesterday.
@@nathansmith6914 Oh also, the pizza I made was really soft, and the cheese would slide right off as I bit it. So I had to eat the pizza folded, but it was like a banger carnivore sandwich 🥪 😋
I made this tonight. It was fabulous. I sprinkled it with parmigiana and flipped it over half way through the baking. It will be my pizza crust for the next pizza I make. So easy it is ridiculous ❤️❤️❤️❤️👍 thank you!
OM GOSH!! :) What a GREAT idea!!! I would use my alfredo sauce with grilled chicken breasts!!! Been LOOKING for an easy pizza dough!!! :)
Love love love that you're only using 2 ingredients. So easy and looks delicious! Thank you!
you two make beautiful music together ❣
Thank you so much for this recipe! Also the fun banter and the beautiful piano playing!
So thankful for it all!
Great recipe! Thanks! I cut it down to fourths so I could experiment and not waste a whole recipe. So using a half cup of cottage cheese and one egg, I added a couple tablespoons of panko pork rinds and that was good! I also tried it with ricotta in place of cottage cheese and that worked as well. So many things you can do. Thanks so much!
Good to know!! :) I'm looking for something I can toast up and spread some sour cream/onion dip (using dried onions)! :) CRAVING an "Everything but the Bagel with cream cheese" type of toasted snack! :)
So glad you mentioned the ricotta, I couldn't get full cream cottage cheese. Thanks

I’m trying this for my kiddos asap!! 🤩 Thank you again Bella, you’re going to be the very best mama someday! 🥰
I just made this... and it browned nicely on the other side... used a stainless steel pan, and parchment, but mine was more liquidy, and needed about 50 minutes of baking. Maybe the extra time browned the other side...
Beautiful... can't wait to try it.

I am loving your recipes!.
I usually love supporting carnivore snack brands, but I can't get behind something that costs more per bar than an actual steak. If you buy the 6 pack, its like $16/bar. Yikes!
I'm sure somebody will figure out how to make these homemade, that would be great because I agree, I'm not paying that. I learned how to make carnivore crisps on my own and boy were those good and so much cheaper!

So many carnivores have golden retrievers. I have two and I’ve always said that anybody that has a golden retriever are good people.
Carnivores with Black Labs are even better 😬
How about a wiener dog that has long hair and looks exactly like a short legged golden? Lol

Bella I love your fridge! 😮 🤩
Amazing recipe! You guys are ADORABLE ❤
Wow this recipe looks awesome, can’t wait to try it! I’m 9 days into animal-based and feel great. I eat mostly beef, eggs, raw milk, cheese, and butter, but will also have seafood, chicken, and pork, and the occasional avocado, yogurt, honey, deviled eggs (mayo, mustard, relish), and fruit. Back in 2020 I went carnivore for 4 months and got into the greatest shape of my life (lost 35 pounds and was hiking weekly). Unfortunately I gave into cravings and went through some super stressful life events and totally fell off the wagon. I’m in my 30s and the last year or so really noticed my health slowly declining 😢 But I’m bouncing back quickly. If others can do it, so can I! I’m so grateful for the online carnivore community.
Use allulose-based syrups instead of honey - honey has fructose in it, and it will keep you addicted to sugar!
@@kristineweber8084 Thanks for your suggestion. I can tolerate date syrup and molasses, so those are acceptable. I have also found that a little bit of honey doesn’t make me spiral into a sugar addiction (believe me I am definitely a recovering sugar addict). Plus, the medicinal benefits of raw honey are so amazing, I will always keep it in my pantry! 😀

Nice recipe and loved the piano duet.
Just made it, it's delicious and it smells divine while baking. It's just like the salty cheese pie I used to eat in my childhood. Thank God I found the non wheat version. Thank you for the recipe! Also y'all playing the piano so effortlessly like it's nothing lol. Great job!
I’m more animal based. Tried other foods recently and paid for it digestion wise. Back on animal based and things cleared right up. Thank you for all your great ideas and recipes!
I'm making this after watching just the first half of the video. It's literally in the oven right now. Kinda excited to try it when it's done.

Definitely going to try this recipe. I identify as a ketovore. Just starting this journey because I was seeing signs of insulin resistance and at 57, I wanted to reverse that trend. Animal based lets me keep mineral balance pretty well. Fruits, herbs and veggies give me a spectrum, and I take magnesium because 90% of us should do that. Sometimes I use potassium chloride added to broth, too. Not my whole list, but you might be inspired.
