When you can’t afford a scat pack but want to look like one and have everyone know your car is slow and sounds like ass. An X pipe should have been installed at the very least.

It’s like at what point does this shop talk these people only a better setup? I get wanting to make money but if I brought this car to the mechanic I go to he’d laugh at me and suggest I do something else. Maybe this shop does that and these clowns are stubborn, I don’t know. Yeah kinda have to agree with everyone else. Needs an x-pipe at minimum, I personally would never true-dual anything unless it was super high performance. Hopefully he comes back for some resonators. But it's a rebuilt title car, you can tell by the panel gaps at the front and the Scat Pack bumper lol. So I guess the sound goes with it haha.

just took my mid muffler off and omg it sounds so bad....like a trumpet with water in it. tbh i hate the v6 now. just a muffler delete didnt sound too bad but dont get rid of the resonator its just a fart cannon after that. tbh imma probably sell the charger just becuase of this fact. i want something loud and nice sounding you cant get that with a v6 :(

should of got high flow cats, kept the resonator and rear mufflers or delete the rear mufflers but you gotta have something to cover up the rasp of a v6 but still increase the volume. he at least needs the resonator back. and if something wasnt true dual from the factory its hit or miss how it will sound doing it after market
I’ve had 2 300s. A used 12 and a new 16. Never touched the 12. The 16 I put a K&N cold air intake on. That intake sounded really good. But you straight pipe that motor, sorry owner, but that sounds horrible. Besides that Fiat Chrysler brands are horrible reliability. I had 45000 miles and I had went thru 2 sets of rotors and pads, a new rear end and transmission that was grinding. I feel sorry for the guy that bought it.

i own a charger with the 5.7 and a challenger with the 3.6.
and let me tell ya!
i prefer the v6
power is about the same (stock ofcourse) and mpg of the v6 is really good.
it sounds great runs great.

BEST ADVICE TO GIVE: DON'T ! DO ANY EXHAUST WORK ON A V6 BECAUSE IT'S NOT SAME AS A V8 IT WILL "NEVER" BE THE SAME SOUND.

Besides, there is not a chance in whatever little world you live in, that the customer is not aware (at LEAST to some fraction of a degree) as to what a true dual straight pipe on a V6 is going to sound like. And honestly, it's the customers fault for not doing their own research if they really did have no clue.
Nor do I believe there was never a conversation had between the vehicle owner and ANYONE working there that did not include the discussion of how ear-splitting it will be with this setup.
