"Neji Deserved Better" Sadly, you could say the same about many characters in Naruto.

The whole curse seal is really wrong. Goes to show that the Leaf village had a lot of injustice going on. From genocide, to foreign conspiracies, to magical leashes and discrimination.

When Neji fought kidomaru i cried as a child when it was unclear if he died or not after the fight. When he actually died in shippuden, adult me cried again. I love Neji and he definitely deserved more. Thank you for this video.

People keep shipping Neji and Tenten together, but I don't think that's the case. I don't think that Neji wanted his kids to have the same curse mark.

Do you want to know what's the most depressing part? According to Masashi Kishimoto (the creator of Naruto himself), the reason why he killed off Neji is to bring Naruto and Hinata closer. I didn't make things up, he literally admits that Neji dies as a cupid for NaruHina during his interview before the release of The Last movie.

Look I really want to believe naruto was in fact a hard worker and he is but the series still shows hard work does not beat out natural genetics nor fate. Yes he mastered rasengan and shadow clone and even sage mode but dont forget the only reason he was able to do so was entirely because he was the jinchuriki of the hidden leaf. nobody wanted to help or train him until they found this out nobody else was given the attention nobody else had these ties by family nor history. for just one moment go back to the zabuza mission he would be dead due to the poison of the brothers, dead to haku's kekei genkai, dead many many times over without the ninetails helping him. It doesnt matter if the ninetails didnt like or even hated him he was able to always cash in the get out of free jail card every time. If the richest businessman in the world personally tutored me and every time I made a decision where my company would go under he bailed me out when I finally made it could I really say I was a hard worker? Sure I kept at it I made mistakes and I spent nights doing this practice but the only question I have is wouldnt most people be able to do this with this much safety net if they had a moderate amount of work ethic? poor lee and the others never stood a chance and I love naruto he is a good guy and a genuine/ naïve soul but he still had his hand held and led by the people around him its a real shame. because it just shows the reality of life and if you were not born into the favor of genetics or destiny then you either suffer, get lucky(something like the lottery ect), take it from others, or become the best you can be with what you have that will still not add up to the best but good for you to try. :(

Imagine if Hinata's and Neji's dads switched roles. Then, Neji would be the son of the head and Hinata would still be a girl who likes Naruto.

Neji was still right. Yes, Naruto worked hard but what if Neji worked harder? Would he have surpassed Naruto? Not a chance.

Childhood is when you idolize Naruto, adulthood is when you realize Neji was right

When Neji died, I heard someone said, "Kishimoto, you could've killed Tenten!" 😂

We should've gotten a story on how the Hyūga Clan came to be.

Naruto was destined for greatness. So when neji said “you can’t change your destiny.”

Well in a sense certain characters are the living embodiment of what Neji was talking about. Reality can be a cruel thing and fate is something that’s inescapable the longer you live. Neji was one of the best written characters in Naruto cuz he didn’t sugarcoat things to make anyone feel better. He lived a life of shackles and familial diplomacy. No matter what path he chose he was always gonna die trying to protect Hinata which he succeeded in doing.

I always felt neji had every right to feel how he felt and naruto attitude was dat of a child who didn't kno nothing bout how the real world works like how most kids wanna rush to grow up but soon realize adult life not all sunshine and rainbows

Someone said something simple about Neji's death, and it's everything there is to say. "A slave's freedom isn't dying for his master on but to not be a slave anymore."

I like the nuance in this video. It doesn't discount how fate shackled Neji while tearing down the misconception that it somehow makes Naruto a hypocrite. I wish Neji had gotten a more complete arc by Kishimoto. It's implied that things in the Hyuga clan got better but we don't really see it and Neji does die protecting Hinata even if it is of his own volition.

Hiashi (Hinata's Father) taking the hit instead of Neji would've make much more sense.
