This is so gorgeous. Actually, the weather adds to the aura, I think. It's almost surreal. It's always a treat when you are joined by a family member. YOU SHOULD BE DOING DOCUMENTARIES. Noone provides us with an overall picture of places, better than you do, IMO. FANtastic, as always, Josh... 👏🏻👏🏻🤠 🧊
Virtual traveling is one of the coolest things on RUclips and I'm always glad to encounter one of your new trips. It's so nice to travel in this way! Thanks! : )
The areas between Banff and Jasper are some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen anywhere... Spent 2 week in a Camper Van there and absolutely loved every minutes of it. Thanks for sharing Josh! Love the relationship you have with your dad. So special.
You HAVE to go back as you definitely missed a lot. Have done this incredible drive about a 100 times now and can't wait to go back. This is one of THE most stunning drives and scenic areas in the world. Can't believe you missed Moraine Lake! Thanks for sharing.
A beautiful end to the day with a video from the Icefields Parkway. Your descriptions of places are incredibly accurate. It's great to listen to and watch! Greetings from Connectiut.🥰
Just wanted to say thanks for that long-distance shot that Pops took of you across the lake at your first stop. I absolutely love it when you get a shot that shows perspective. The prior shot you had of yourself showing those icebergs in the background, they just look like little pieces of ice. 😂 That long shot shows they are humongous! What a great trip. Thanks for sharing.
My mother, sister and I went there back in the 80s and stayed in our 3 man tent. Heard bears roaming around the campground and sniffing around our tent. Very exciting! Thanks for the memories and all your fantastic videos.
We were there in July, fortunately the weather was absolutely beautiful. Peyto Lake was actually blue (with the sun shining) an unbelievable blue. We stayed in Jasper and Banff 3 days each, then headed back to South Carolina. Amazing views, amazing everything
The Icefields Parkway was the highlight of our trip to the Canadian Rockies! You definitely need to checkout Moraine Lake next time you’re in the area! I thought it was even more beautiful that Lake Louise! Looks like you and Pops had a great time! I will definitely go back to the Canadian Rockies for sure!
This drive is amazing! I've only ever done it once, since I live on the east coast of Canada, but it's one of the best drives I've ever done. I really hope I get to go back someday! Thank you for the all the videos you do!!
I'm so happy you enjoyed the beauty of out glacier parkway! It truly is my favourite place in my province. I hope you go on the Banff gondola! The views take your breath away when you reach the top.
How phenomenal! I’m glad you got a hotel on lake Louise. All the stops along the ice fields parkway were stunning. What a phenomenal summer you both had
Your trip is certainly bringing back memories of when my family visited in 2005. One of the most amazing trips ever. In my opinion Lake Louise is lovely but Moraine Lake is even better.
I really wanted to visit Moraine but it was non stop rain the next 24 hours and I figured I would wait till I had the best experience possible to see it in the future.
The canadian rockies is an amazing place!! Even when cloudy it looks epic! One stop I'd recommend (and we did it only bc we had a little extra time) is Horseshoe Lake. It's super close to the Edith Cavell turnoff, but on the east side of the hwy. The hike in was super short (10-15 min one way). We didn't do the whole loop, bc we got a great angle from the spot we went to. I also liked Moraine Lake better than Lake Louise, but I think it looked better in the conditions you got it. Thanks for another great video!! Love watching your content!
I was in Jasper in July, and had to flee because of the wild fire.I drove up to Jasper and planned on seeing everything again on my way south. We could only go west from Jasper. i love it up there.
A few thoughts. You keep filling my bucket list! I'm now adding these locations to the list. I've never been to Canada but this all looks so amazing. Also, you have a really great voice for the narration of these videos. And also, props to Pops, he is awesome! I really enjoy the videos with your wife as well. Keep up the great work! Question: how expensive are these locations in comparison with Alaska?
Thank you for this fantastic video. I am visiting Banff this September from the UK and some of the places you have mentioned I've put on my itinerary. I want to swim in Hector Lake, need to find a way to get there! x
We are heading on our RV roadtrip through this area this summer! Thanks for the great info and taking us along the road. :) Looking forward to seeing all of these beautiful places. New subscriber too! ~Kelli and Wilson
Absolutely stunning, even in the rain! I long to get up and explore that area too! Will get there one day! Thanks for all the good info! It looks like it’s best to travel south on the parkway than north, crowds, getting to waterfalls earlier, etc. Did y’all find that to be the case?
I'll start by saying that I've gravitated back to your videos! You guys do a great job. When you surprised your dad with that hotel in Utah, I got emotional (holding my 6 month old daughter) thinking about how much I wish my dad and I did things like that together. Now, enough with the mooshy part. I've been to a lot of the places you've gone to. I love Utah, Alaska is incredible, etc etc. I was wondering how this area compared in your mind? I'm heading out there to explore Jasper, Banff, and Yoho at the end of May. Thanks! Cheers.
One of my favorite places on earth….the awesome Canadian Rockies ❤ Did you make it to Moraine Lake, near Lake Louise? If not, you missed the absolute best lake in the entire Rockies with views that would take your breath away. I’m so surprised this wasn’t on your agenda.
Next time you see a small mill next to a pond with 4 feet of head, think back to these falls. There's enough power in that little mill to grind or saw or weave.
Especially taking a photo after going up the short trail up the hill before the base of Moraine Lake That is the gorgeous place to get a photo looking down at Moraine Lake and the Peaks that surround this beautiful Lake..Bow Lake fantastic too...in 2013
Heartbreaking to see you experienced the drive in this weather. Did you miss Moraine Lake or did you put the content in another video? it puts Lake Louise to shame.
You guys'd like Norway. It's easy to take a bad picture anywhere. There is a difference between a picture of a nice thing and a nice picture of a thing. Pay attention when people are going on about pictures. "OMG Teddy, that is such a beautiful picture!" No, it's not. It's a bad picture of a beautiful thing. More often than not.

I agree with this guy! U & ur Pops' voice is perfect for documentaries. Very easy to listen to and your info is very accurate & helpful!
Rain or shine. Always love adventuring with Josh and Pops! Also Amie and the kiddos too!

The rainy days and fog actually make this video beautiful. Thankyou!

Thank you for allowing me to be part of the trip with you! Amazing scenery & great people. A pleasure always👍
Our pleasure!
A beautiful end to the day with a video from the Icefields Parkway. Your descriptions of places are incredibly accurate. It's great to listen to and watch! Greetings from Connectiut.🥰
Even beautiful on a cloudy day😊😊
You know the landscape is amazing when a rainy, foggy day still looks glorious. Thanks for sharing the trip with us!

Even though it was raining and foggy, and I watched this on my phone, your footage was still absolutely stunning. What an amazing place!
What a gorgeous fun drive. Looks like I have a road trip I need to plan
Wow!! Gorgeous scenery!! It does look too pretty to be real. Thanks for sharing

As someone who cannot afford to travel at the moment, I really appreciate these videos! Alaska looks amazing and I can't wait to visit someday.
Your Video of the turquoise lake and towering peaks in Canada are breathtaking. I love exploring with you and Dad!

It’s a very special drive and we’ve been lucky to do it a few times…and hope to return in the near future. We always enjoy your videos with Pops. :)
THAT is definitely a bucket list trip

Thank you so much for sharing your adventures. I had heard of this parkway, but I didn't know where to start.
Great video! We were there a few years ago and it snowed on July 4th enough to make a small snowman. Really enjoyed your content.
beautiful drive. I'll have to drive it one day

Can you visit the glass bottom bridge without taking the excursion tour to glacier?
Next time you see a small mill next to a pond with 4 feet of head, think back to these falls. There's enough power in that little mill to grind or saw or weave.
Next time check out Two Jack Lake
You didn't go to Moraine Lake?? 😱 To me that's the most beautiful lake in Alberta ❤
Especially taking a photo after going up the short trail up the hill before the base of Moraine Lake That is the gorgeous place to get a photo looking down at Moraine Lake and the Peaks that surround this beautiful Lake..Bow Lake fantastic too...in 2013
I wish I was there😅
How much is the glacier tour?
You can get more saturated color on a rainy/cloudy day.
