National Geographic needs to hire the both of you. You both are the best narrators. ❤
Those flowers, foxgloves are everywhere in the PNW. It’s the natural source of digitalis for angina. It’s a gorgeous wild flower.
Oh wow, I didn't know that, it is a beautiful flower
@@ThroughMyLensyep it’s also a poisonous houseplant to kitty’s for this reason.
Your videos are ALWAYS excellent, informative, interesting, and very well prepared and presented, in every way, Josh.👏 Pops is a great addition, as well.
👏🤠🤗🤠👏
Really appreciate the kind words!
Josh and Pops, another awesome video! We are currently planning our trip for next summer and you just gave us our next destination! Love your adventures!
So glad you liked it, the Vancouver area is amazing and I hear Vancouver Island / Victoria are both good places to spend time too
Love you Pops! You made it!! I would never do that suspension bridge, you're very very brave😅
I was proud he made it to the top for sure
👏👏👏! That's for Pops defeating that fear of heights like a champ!! 🏆
Great road trip. Way to go Pops!!
It was such a beautiful area
Good for your Pops. I have a fear of heights too, man
Good for pops on the gondola
I just want to write you to tell you that I had an amazing time journeying with you today. Thanks for all your time and effort in creating this video!
I live in Canada and have always thought Vancouver was kind of overrated based on many people's experiences but you guys did a great job showing the parts that I guess appeal to my style of travel, so thank you for that! I'm adding it to the list, but it's not the first time you have sold me on a travel destination that I dismissed prior. Well-done! I am so looking forward to the next video!
So glad you enjoyed it! We really did love this drive, it was incredible!
Keep in mind, Whistler is actively trying to make it difficult for day trips. Locals only, the "serfs" aren't welcome.
The west coast is incomparable to anywhere on earth. I grew up in Ontario and after my first time in the west coast I couldn't believe this was my own country. I lived out west for 4 years as a tour guide through the PNW and the rockies and there is nothing like it in the world ❤❤❤

I lived out west for 4 years as a tour guide through the PNW and the rockies and there is nothing like it in the world. I now live in Australia and have travelled to over 60 countries and nothing compares. It's pure magic ❤❤❤
Good job, Pops! I got to call this area home for quite a few years. Thank you for taking me back to see it through it fresh eyes.
Wow, it must have been a pretty special area to get to know more
These projects are just beyond any memories but the births of children. Just absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing.
was in vancouver early june, wonderful city.. never thought to rent car and do that day trip... next time will check it out for sure, great vid guys and well done pops for the cable car ride!
Well done!! This is so inspiring! I’m with Pop’s when it comes to heights but would definitely push it and get on the gondola also 😊 beautiful video!
Way to go Pops! That was a very high gondola ride! That meal with the meat, potatoes & peas with gravy made me hungry for some comfort food! 😊
Gotta love some good comfort food. I was proud of him as well
But in real life, New Zealand does much better pies than Australia 🙂
Loved this one, great job Pops! 🤗 👏👏
Good job, Pops!! So happy you guys are on the road again!!
Beautiful views wonderful waterfalls thank you for taking us on a gorgeous exploring, it's a blessing
What an absolutely gorgeous day trip. I need to visit and drive around Canada. Great to see both you and Pops having a good time today
Way to go Pops!!!
Way to face your fear Pops. 😮 It looks magnificent. Thanks for documenting this trip. As always supper jealous. 😊
I have been scared to death of a suspense bridge but I have no problem with condolas!!!!
That seems like a more normal fear haha
Beautiful country. Pops you finally faced a fear. Awesome. Love your vids.
Go pops you did it, great to see y’all enjoy life together!
We had so many adventures on this trip, it was one to remember for sure
You are making miss my time living in BC for 18 years. TY for the tour and remembering the grass is greener on the otherside.
Very admired your dad, you are very lucky to hv a dad who able to travel with u❤
Pops kudos to you for doing that gondola ride, that was wicked steep! I have a great fear of heights but enjoy the views, so I try to suffer through things like this, because afterwards I'm usually happy I did. Such a beautiful park to be marred by discarded trains. Sorry, but I think they should be cut up and removed. Entertaining video as always.
Gorgeous views. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Josh and Pops, thank you for such a beautiful video! It's just gorgeous there. My grandmother is from British Columbia and hope to visit with my family one day.
Wow! This road trip is absolutely scenic, and the places you've chosen to stop are definitely worth visiting, especially the enchanting waterfalls. Thank you so much for sharing. 😍👌
This was a great video, as is all of your content! Such beautiful scenery! So proud of Pops for facing his fear! That's a hard thing to do. You've made my already extensive bucket list grow. Look forward to more of your adventures! Thanks for sharing!
Pops commitment to the shot paid off! That’s a great shot he got of you walking on the viewpoint!
The village of Whistler was my favorite! Pops, you were amazing inside the gondola ride! 👍👍 I love this road trip, Josh. Thank you. ❤️👍📣📣🚙🚙
Wow so beautiful! And that suspension bridge rivals Capilano! The views from the gondola are spectacular. Would love to go through this stretch of highway someday. Kudos to pops for facing his fear! Thanks for sharing!
Another good one! Thanks!
Pop's did so good!! Love your video's!!!
Now I just have to figure out how to add this to our next trip to the great Northwest...This looks as good as any scenic road we have ever been on and we love Vancouver, so I'm not surprised.
As always thanks for sharing!
Great job facing your fear of heights, Pops!
Yes, Pops is correct. Those beautiful flowers are called Foxgloves.😊
Pops I’d say NO to the suspension bridge! Great video guys!
Another beautiful video
Thanks for the tip! Will check it out
Beautiful scenery & an epic drive. Way to go Pops 👍for conquering your fears of the 🚠. Now if we see you down in a cave or mine shaft, then we will know that the end of time is close at hand.
It feels to me that we’re with you and Pops adventure ❤❤❤
“Sharing is caring “ , take care always, we want to see more🙏🙏🙏
Another awesome journey. Thankyou!
Great video as always❤
Spot on Pops.. foxgloves are a classic "English Garden or Cottage Garden plant", not usually considered a wildflower as such I don't think.. or maybe they are in Canada.. love all of the little islands on the Canadian coastline in your video and others. Pops you are so cool.. keep those feet on the ground in your gondola and don't think of the 1000 feet or so Josh keeps telling you about.. but seriously the bridge didn't freak you out.. go you!! No stopping you now Pops :) Stunning scenery Josh thanks so much..... have to send this one to friends who's on lives in Whistler I think or at least works there in Winter.. snowboarding cheers from Western Australia
Hey Josh! Local here -- next time you're back, try hiking Mamquam Falls. It's breathtaking! It's a short, moderate hike with a technical beginning and just pure uphill at the end.
I’m constantly impressed by your travels!❤
Josh, don't want to get into it, but just want to say that you and your family have made an incredibly positive difference in my life. Thank You and God Bless.....
What an epic trip! Envy! Love BC. Great video, and how cool that you get to have these adventures with your dad.
Just did sea to sky hwy to whistler. It was amazing. Shannon falls, and brandywine falls were beautiful
So very nice…..Thanks!😊
It’s been almost 20 years since I have done this trip. Watching your video is bringing back memories. 😍. And yes, Foxgloves grow wild here in the PNW.
Have you and Pops done the waterfalls here in the Columbia River Gorge? Multnomah Falls is the most famous, but my favorite is Bridal Veil..
I love the videos, it’s like going on a little trip
Another awesome video. As a ski lover from Boston, I've only done this drive in winter, and Whistler in winter, so it's so cool to see the flip season. I've seen and learned things I never knew about from you both!
Awesome!!
The coldest Winter I ever had was the Summer in British Columbia!
haha!
Well done pops!
It's stunning and beautiful
It really is!
Pops is awesome!
Loved the video. Funny, as soon as Pops got on the bridge, I too, thought about that part on the Indiana Jones movie. ☺️ You guys make me miss Canada…💕
Whoever made that model display at 4:49 two thumbs up.
World class, professional, flowing, worth my while video...as usual.
Great video!
Always a pleasure to watch!
Thanks, we appreciate it!
Beautiful guys and bravo to courageous father. Thank you for visiting my beautiful country.
Such a beautiful place, I would love to spend more time there
Isn't that train wreck the site of an excellent Steve Wallis stealth camping episode? Hunker down!
I'm with Pops on this one. I'm fine with heights and suspension bridges, but don't like the enclosed space of a gondola or an elevator. We're heading up this way next year, finding your videos very informative. Thanks!.
Thanks. Been on that drive and it is amazing. Next time check out horseshoe bay as well. And here is an upvote for pops.
I live in West Vancouver. I have driven that road since the 70's. On a sunny day it's shockingly gorgeous. But, there's a reason we locals call our home "Raincouver". It only rains once, continuously, from October 1st to April 1st. I'm watching this while in Maui, and it makes me cherish our life in British Columbia.
LOVED Whistler! You gotta check out Peak To Peak gondola and go on up to Top Of The World…stunning views. It’ll take your breath away.
Fantastic video. I would love yo go there and do all this
Wow what a cool place
Proud of Pops.
Pops, look at you!! You survived the gondola!!😊
Josh, thanks for another amazing video!!
@biker5662 Barely survived...it was touch and go for a few minutes there!
GR8 VID ~ LOVED ❤ IT !!!
just got back 45 minutes ago from a last-gasp-of-summer trip up to Squamish - gonna kick back and see how much overlap we have :)
Hi from South Africa!
Well done! 😊
Thanks for watching it!
Love your videos...and "like" for
Pops on the gondola.
FYI when you are panning for gold you have to use the riffles in the pan or you will just wash any gold right out.
Aww ok, good to know!
I wanna do this in the Fall!
you are so athletic, finished so many small trips in one day.
What a journey. I wish I can do a road trip like that with my parents one day.
Yay! I miss ya videos!
Thanks for watching them!
Wonderful... and l am glad that you guys enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Sea to Sky Highway... absolutely packed itinerary and you made it amazingly....next time make sure you check the Stawamus Chief & the Brackendale (for viewing eagles)...well done!!!
Thanks Josh and Pops great video
Thanks for watching!
Yeah, Pop!!!
👏👏👏👏 we enjoy your videos so much and we love your relationship with your pops - we are so jealous and say all the time “can you imagine if our dads wanted to spend that kind of time with us?” 😂😂 Great video as always❤. Thank you for all your videos ❤
👍🏽😃 for Pops!
Excellent job, Pops!!!! He should probably be studied though. Scared of the lift but okay with the bridge?!?!?! Very interesting.
@mikeyllo I laughed out loud! I should definitely have my irrational fears studied!! Hahaha!
I'm hoping to take this trip in May.
I don't blame your pops... I'm the same way about heights! I'm okay with certain things, like most bridges and even rock climbing... but being in one those gondola things freaks me out so bad for some reason 😅 Thanks for another amazing video!
Gondolas freak me out too for some reason. I think it's the enclosed space. I'm ok-ish on a chair lift for some reason. Makes no sense!
You Go pop! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love how pops is not fond of holes and heights! We could have some awesome visits while waiting for you to go through these places 😂
@annabellgettingwell1531 That pretty much describes my fears! Holes and heights! Hahaha!
I’m the first like. I did it for Pops! Proud of him!
haha thanks for the like!
When you are on vacations, calories don’t count 😁 I’m glad you guys are enjoying delicious food in all those adventures. 🙌🏽
Stay at whistler and go to Joffre lake, a must do
Bro, you was in my backyard trail!! I’m only minutes walk from train wreck! Hope you had a great time
I very much enjoy traveling through your lens. One suggestion: I would love it if you would date your videos for the month of your trips. Since I think many of us preview our own potential trips through travel videos, it helps our planning. In the comments you say this is June, but it came out mid-September. I'm motivated to do this trip! Thanks.
This is a great idea, I might start doing this with our travel videos. It would help to see what the weather is like at a certain time.
Joffre Lake park ,which is further north of Pemberton ,is the last scenic spot. This park has trails that allow you to see Icefields, cold rushing streams and 3 beautiful turquoise blue water lakes. This park along with Whistler are must stops for us local . Joffre lakes is so popular that you have to register for permission to access the park one day ahead of time.
