This is ABSOLUTELY one of my very favorite channels. Each video is informative, entertaining, and interesting... just chock full of beautiful sights, highlights of places to visit, and places to eat. Today's video is a perfect example. Everything flows so well together. I come away having learned so much. Thank you, Josh and "Pops". You did it again.👏🏻🤠🤠👏🏻
It’s always fun to learn the historical stuff of the places you visit. And Pops does an excellent job explaining everything. You guys are a great team! Excellent video as always 🙌🏽
Hej I’m from Sweden and my husband and I spent a summer in west Canada 1977. We hitchhiked from Vancouver to White Horse. Spent midsummer eve there. Rented a canou and sent up Youkon River. What an adventure! So nice to see how it looks like now! Thank You!/ Monika
Thank you for showing my old home, the Log Skyscraper. I lived in the territory for about 20 years from the mid 70's to mid 90's - and in Whitehorse for 5 of those years, where I lived in the one second from the top. I think that was my favourite home of all time. It was log on the inside too, but when I went back to visit years later, I saw they had drywalled it. Dunno why .....
Not just another pretty face. I have been enjoying many videos that you have produced starting with your Route 66 series which I used for research for our trip. I like your voice and how you put together a video. Your 'Pops' is pretty cool too and reminds me of a couple people we know.
Wow, I never expected my hometown to get such a great and informative video about it! You even mentioned some facts I didn’t know even after living here for almost 19 years now. I’m so happy that I get to live in this beautiful town. I even have a great connection with Carcross. As my dad’s partner is the principal of the small school in Carcross, I got a job working at the summer camp there.
You were right across the street from the White Pass and Yukon Route railroad station and didn't stop in. I lived there 75 to 77 and would have been interested to see what it looks like now. But thanks for the tour.
In 1956 I rode the White Pass and Yukon behind a steam loco from Skagway to Whitehorse. Great ride. On my way to Yukon Forests Ministry job near Carmacks Crossing.
I really want to check this out one day. The Yukon, Kluane National Park, and Dawson City are bucket list for me. Really want to drive the Alaska Highway one day. Thank you so much for this video. Will have to check out some of the places you visited in Whitehorse!
Thank you both for another great video! Your father-son adventures are wonderful to watch because you know how to have fun together, your enthusiasm is infectious, and your interests differ but blend well. And your terrific content is beautifully produced every time! (Yes, Pops, you're definitely more than a pretty face! Great line, btw.😉)
I am Canadian and although I've been to Alberta on numerous occasions, I have never gone to the far north-west to see the Yukon. Any friends I have who have gone to the Yukon raved about it, so maybe one day. For now, I'll just enjoy your adventures with Pops, on the road again.
Awesome consistent high quality content as usual. Keep living the Dream! I bought a Garret Gold Panning Kit off Amazon the first time I went to the Yukon in 2005. Its collecting dust now amongst other things like my pullup bar and exercise bike lol.
A wonderful video!! I learn so much about places by watching your videos! Even those I been to Whitehorse & Caracross I learned more about the area! Thank you both!!
We did the same tour but it took us 4 days. Awsome! Unfortunately, photos or videos are unable to capture the beauty of all differents landscapes we have seen. A place to visit and see for oneself. Thanks for this nice stroll on Yukon memory lanes.
Thank-You, for this wonderful Vid. of Home, as one is so far away from Home, these days, but memories & Homesick remains.. i HAVE LIVED & WALKED EVERY PART OF THIS VID. You did it Proud !!! :)) Once again,, T.Y !! :))))
Super Excited tour..white horse part of Earth is most luring and heart touching scenery. These trees and mountains speaks to me. Incredible place.long live white horse. Love you cannada. ❤❤
Awesome content and great videography! I'm like your Dad, definite bucket list! Thanks for sharing and look forward to more... definitely liked and subbed. Cheers!
Been following your channel all the way from route 66!!! Great video & audio & information, you know how to handle a camera, not making us dizzy 😊 keep it up. Btw, im watching all the way from South Africa 👍
I’m about to take my 1st ever trip to Charleston SC and was so hoping you and pops would have some points of interest and places to eat there. Maybe you’ll make that trip one day. I do enjoy your informative videos
Charleston is one of those places that demand return visits to take full advantage of all it has to offer -- historic sites, home tours (spring for sure), plantations and Civil War, museums, time on or overlooking the water -- and especially restaurants; it's very much a foodie town. Enjoy!
You missed out on saying how downtown Whitehorse is insanely dangerous at night. Drug addiction and substance abuse is a lot more common than you might think. Alpine bakery recently closed down because of the violence and general crime. Locals refuse to go there.
Looks like a fascinating trip. I've never given much thought to travel in Canada, beyond hopping over the border to visit Victoria and Vancouver, but this video has definitely expanded my travel aspirations. Thank you.
Also heads up! Your summer window is very small. We have an 8 month long, very cold and dark winter. If you want to come when it looks like this, come in June or July. 🙂 ☀️
Another great video, Josh and Pops! So stunningly beautiful. And that Emerald Lake? Wow! I want to go back to BC. I haven't been there since I was 7. I am 52 now. Long overdue!
your dad is the final boss at the visitor center... hahaha I do find there are certain places where the staff has less idea than the actual tourist. Pretty sad imo.
Interesting fact. Whereas the millennium trail goes beyond “downtown” It stops far short of “ beyond town” City of Whitehorse in its wisdom…. Or could it be greed……established extremely extensive city boundaries. Carcross Cutoff Rd… Takhini River bridge Mayo Rd…. Echo Rd Alaska Hwy…Grey mountain ridge….( I’ve never been to the other edge)
Canada: 10 provinces and 3 territories. Canada's Yukon territory in 2022 by-pass the province of Saskatchewan becoming the #3 entity for crime in Canada. The reality inside the cake.

It’s always fun to learn the historical stuff of the places you visit. And Pops does an excellent job explaining everything. You guys are a great team! Excellent video as always 🙌🏽
That boat ride would be a one of a kind experience for sure. Lots of history there

I'm from Whitehorse and stumbled upon your video. Your boat tour guide was my cousin's husband! So neat to see!
Great video...I spent a year in the Yukon but it will stay forever in my heart....I also met 18 other Hazels there ranging in age from 2 to 92.
You were right across the street from the White Pass and Yukon Route railroad station and didn't stop in. I lived there 75 to 77 and would have been interested to see what it looks like now. But thanks for the tour.

Wonder if you can hike to that suspension bridge over the canyon
Yea, you can walk over the suspension bridge and go on a hike. It is a really cool spot!
Worth mentioning to anyone planning to visit that Alpine Bakery had to close due to crime.
I just drove through there on my way to the Arctic Ocean
Interesting fact. Whereas the millennium trail goes beyond “downtown” It stops far short of “ beyond town”

Very nice video make more video❤❤❤😊
When do you play to visit Cuyahoga National Park?
Cool video, could’ve added more on our First Nations sites since we do have a lot and most of our population consists of FN people.

Bad news people the Alpine bakery closed because of the crackheads next door after 30 years......
Please guide me as to what camera you are using… I take beautiful photos but the ratio always causes a black “ bookshelf” bars on the playback 🥲
