That was a great video, I have been in the Rockies 3 or 4 time,with stops along the way like you. I am 80 and travel in a small motorhome, I will leave PA. in a month and drive to the Calgary Stampede and then up to the Rockies. Those Mountains & Waterfalls so beautiful. Breathtaking views from the bridges. So many places to stop and see, good thing you decided to get your own vehicle. Amazing it looks like you had no one around you at many stops. The glaciers glass floor was amazing. How lucky to be only ones on it. The color of each lake is beautiful. Great video !! We have a short list of our next adventures, and we try to choose one from that. Lol…we tend to choose, mountainous adventures. Probably because we don’t have any here, so it’s something different.
This was such a well-done video, capturing wonderful pictures along the way. I actually took notes as I am planning this trip this fall with Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier added to our trip.

We're heading to the US Rockies next year. I have to ask about your car. We drive an EV. Was charging ever an issue for you, or handing the steep grades of the mountains (lowering the range)? Thanks.
Canada is a beautiful place. I am grateful that this is only a 3.5h drive from where I live. You must come back when forest fire smoke doesn't dull down the views. If you do return to Jasper, you should go up to Edith Cavell!! It is a fantastic experience that will be remembered for a lifetime! FYI (maybe leave the drone at home. It is illegal in national parks, and the fine is $25,000!! Eek!! ) They do actually charge people. For anyone asking when to go: high season is basically from the May long weekend through the labour day weekend. If you have kids, I would book later in the summer when the sun sets at a more reasonable hour

We loved Jasper, so I’ll make sure to keep a note about Edith Cave. Sounds right up my alley! We didn’t bring a drone. What you may have thought were drone shots were actually coming from our Insta360 X3 on an invisible selfie stick. You can see me carrying it in the background of several shots like at 12:47 , 21:07 and at 20:40 you can see it in the reflection of the skywalk. We do love that it gives you drone-like shots…without a drone.

Hi there! Thank you so much! I’m happy you enjoyed the video! When we picked up the Tesla, our Hertz agent told us that there was a super charger in Canmore and then another one in Jasper. So, as long as we had it fully charged before heading up the Icefields Parkway that we’d be fine. Plus, when you put in your destination in the Navigation system it told you how much of a charge you would have left by the time you made it to your destination. So, we knew if we had enough charge to make it there and back or if we had to top it off. Overall, we didn’t have any trouble! ☺️ I hope you have an incredible trip!!

Thank you so much!! It is a selfie stick! It's the invisible selfie stick for the Insta360. I was holding on to it really really tight to make sure it didn't drop into the lake!! lol.
We visited in 2018 - I've seen beetle damage to the trees on Spirit Island since, but they now look as if they have recovered. A bit confused, as I was told that recovery was not possible. Did you visit pre-2018?
Thank you so much! We used a few cameras on this trip. Our main ones were the DJI Pocket 2, the Insta360 x3 (for the 360 shots), and the insta360 GO as our action camera. Oh, and we used our iPhone a lot, too! ☺️ I hope this helps!

We saw plenty of RVs heading up the Icefields Parkway, so I can’t see why not! Just make sure that your tank is filled up before the drive because there aren’t any gas stations along Icefields Parkway and cell service was spotty. Have a wonderful time!!
I hope you get the chance to go! Our room budget was $250-350 per night. A lot of our rooms we booked with travel points through our credit card, so we didn’t pay for them out of pocket. But, I looked up the cost for them later, and they ranged in the $250-350 area.

Hi there! Thank you so much! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video. We didn't have any issues with the Tesla on our trip. Hi there! Thank you so much! I’m so happy our video could help you plan. If you put in Lake Louise in your GPS, it’ll take you straight to the parking lot. You’ll start to see signs as you get closer.

Two remaining questions: 1 - is there a fee in this parking lot you guys used? 2 - to get the shuttle to lake Moraine did you drive to park and ride and got a shuttle from there? Tks again :)
@@gallegospam yep! There was a fee. I think it was $15-20? I can’t quite remember, so don’t quote me on that. And yes, we had noon reservations on the park and ride, so we just headed to the park and ride parking lot afterwards, and took the bus to Morraine Lake
Hi there! You should be fine in July. We went the very last week of August. But, you may want to bring one just in case…especially if you’re planning on going up to the top of any mountains. It’s warm during the day, but the nights and the top of the mountains tend to be cold.
There weren’t fires in the area during our trip, but the smoke from past fires and fires from other areas did haze the area for a few of our days. It was still beautiful though…almost gave it like a painting feel to the vistas.

There is a super charger in Canmore, and another just as you enter Jasper. There are a few charging stations in Banff, but they were really, really slow.

Awww….thank you so much! This is the direction we would like to take the channel…we’re planning on adding more adventures outside of the sunshine state this year! So, keep an eye out! ☺️ We do have a short list of places we want to go. Next in 2026 we’re heading back to Iceland, then hopefully, Japan, Scotland, Norway…I love creating itineraries! I think I might make them as a downloadable for people to use as they plan their trip. I would also LOVE to go to Australia and New Zealand! Hopefully, the budget will allow more travel in the future as we continue to grow.

Thank you so much!! Those overhead shots were captured with the Insta360 paired with an invisible selfie stick! They are so great because you can capture everything around you and then just grab the angle you need later while editing. Hi there! Yes, we had advanced tickets for the gondola and the Moraine Lake shuttle since there was limited space on both!

Hi there! Thank you so much! I’m happy you enjoyed the video! When we picked up the Tesla, our Hertz agent told us that there was a super charger in Canmore and then another one in Jasper. So, as long as we had it fully charged before heading up the Icefields Parkway that we’d be fine. Plus, when you put in your destination in the Navigation system it told you how much of a charge you would have left by the time you made it to your destination. So, we knew if we had enough charge to make it there and back or if we had to top it off. Overall, we didn’t have any trouble! ☺️ I hope you have an incredible trip!!

You had the perfect Moraine Lake conditions - Try the Yoho National Park from Field next time. My best photography was taken from Emerald Lake, Yoho.

Thank you so much!! It is a selfie stick! It's the invisible selfie stick for the Insta360. I was holding on to it really really tight to make sure it didn't drop into the lake!! lol.
We visited in 2018 - I've seen beetle damage to the trees on Spirit Island since, but they now look as if they have recovered. A bit confused, as I was told that recovery was not possible. Did you visit pre-2018?

Is an RV safe to take on this trip or are the mountain roads too much for such a thing?
We saw plenty of RVs heading up the Icefields Parkway, so I can’t see why not! Just make sure that your tank is filled up before the drive because there aren’t any gas stations along Icefields Parkway and cell service was spotty. Have a wonderful time!!

I hope you get the chance to go! Our room budget was $250-350 per night. A lot of our rooms we booked with travel points through our credit card, so we didn’t pay for them out of pocket. But, I looked up the cost for them later, and they ranged in the $250-350 area.

Hi there! Thank you so much! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video. We didn't have any issues with the Tesla on our trip. There are a few chargers in Banff, but they're really, really slow and difficult to get to. When you put in your destination, it'll tell you how much charge you'll have by the time you get there. So, you can know if you have enough charge to make it to your destination or not or if you have to charge it up. But, as long as you have it fully charged in Canmore on the way up to Jasper, and fully charged before you leave Jasper, you'll be fine! :)

@@gallegospam yep! There was a fee. I think it was $15-20? I can’t quite remember, so don’t quote me on that. And yes, we had noon reservations on the park and ride, so we just headed to the park and ride parking lot afterwards, and took the bus to Morraine Lake

Hi there! You should be fine in July. We went the very last week of August. But, you may want to bring one just in case…especially if you’re planning on going up to the top of any mountains. It’s warm during the day, but the nights and the top of the mountains tend to be cold.

There weren’t fires in the area during our trip, but the smoke from past fires and fires from other areas did haze the area for a few of our days. It was still beautiful though…almost gave it like a painting feel to the vistas.

There is a super charger in Canmore, and another just as you enter Jasper. There are a few charging stations in Banff, but they were really, really slow.

Awww….thank you so much! This is the direction we would like to take the channel…we’re planning on adding more adventures outside of the sunshine state this year! So, keep an eye out! ☺️ We do have a short list of places we want to go. Next in 2026 we’re heading back to Iceland, then hopefully, Japan, Scotland, Norway…I love creating itineraries! I think I might make them as a downloadable for people to use as they plan their trip. I would also LOVE to go to Australia and New Zealand! Hopefully, the budget will allow more travel in the future as we continue to grow.
Besides the tour , One thing which I really found good is sharing the date of visit. That gives you a good idea to plan travel time.

What a spectacular sceneries.. well done videos.. we're set up for long drive travel from Vancouver my home place to Banff this coming mid August ..Watching this made me so excited but sad about the fire in Jasper we cancelled our hotel ..Hoping Jasper and its community will get over this tragedy as soon as possible !

Hi there fellow Floridian! :) I am so excited for you and your upcoming trip! No need to be scared at all. The drive is very easy, and mostly through a valley. I can't remember a time where I got nervous about a cliff.
