That's a slick way to prop up the mattress, although it's a good thing Matt's not a teenager anymore, I doubt he'd have been so quick to show what was under it. 😂 The hats look cool too! Your videos rock!
The Icefields Parkway is such an epic drive! The views in Jasper National Park are out of this world - perfect mix of rugged mountains and stunning glaciers. Two days there sounds like an amazing adventure. Thanks for sharing these top sights, definitely adding them to my list for when I visit again! 🙌
Yet another destination to add to my "must-do" list as a result of you two and your wanderings. You are so good at making your videos informative and yet intimate - making the viewer feel like you made the whole thing just for them - like home movies shown to family members. As always, thank you for bringing us along.
Love the “bloopers” at the end and love all the good info, great shots etc. Woul love a planning guide video. We are planning our trip for next year from New Orleans to Arctic with our tiny camper and people think we are nuts…heheh. I will take that!
What a wonderful trip you planned. I would definitely like to learn how you go about planning something like this. I'm sure I could learn a better way of doing it then I currently do. Thank you.
That might be the oldest water you have ever had!! I have been able to do that drive a few times as well, so soooo beautiful. i vote yes for a trip planning video and the hats!
I am watching from my awesome campsite C43 at Tunnel Mountain Village 1 in Banff. This is almost exactly what we did on our trip up to Jasper a few days ago. So awesome! It’s also been a spring/winter mix for us here in middle of June. But we were able to canoe Lake Louise as all lakes are thawed here now. Maligne lake boat cruise was awesome too. We’re in a Hiker Trailer and have propex heater on every night as it’s dipped into 30sF. Leaving tomorrow for Glacier!
Haha!! Nice, love it! Jealous of glacier! We almost went there in the winter but it was well below 0 F 🥶 Went to bend instead and it was 7 F lol 🤷🏻♂️ Safe travels, have fun!!
Have you looked into dry core or aire-flow hypervent for under your mattress. Many teardrop owners put this under their mattress. I have not had much issue yet on my hiker trailer but will probably buy and put under my mattress. Love watching every episode. Rob, Mars PA. 🧢
Good timing on these videos! We are heading to Banff and Jasper next month(from Vancouver Island) with our teardrop, so looking forward to checking out some of your recommendations! Thx!
This was an amazing video. Loved everything. My favorite part was watching you walk on the glacier. Richardson hats are good. I would definitely buy one.
thank you so much for your video. it is awesome! I am planning a trip to the Banff and Jasper NPs, which one do you prefer? what month did you go? Thank you!
Our pleasure! Tough question... we love them both! Each a touch different, but maybe lean towards Jasper as it feels a little more remote. We went at the end of May. Nice temps, no wildfires, but a few roads/activities weren't quite open yet and Lake Louise was still partially frozen.
Have you considered installing the Froli Spring system under the mattress? It’s super easy to install and the price is reasonable for what it provides. Edit: I guess they are called the Froli STAR Bed Kits now.
You are lucky, Jasper is closed for the season due to wildfire. if we camping in a tent, would June be too cold? you mentioned its 30F at night? you drove there with your camper. do you live in Canada?
We got very lucky! But feel awful for the Canadians up there 🙏🏻 That's the one big perk of going early, no fires. If you prep accordingly the cooler weather isn't an issue at all 👍🏻 We loved it. We live in Washington 🌲

I lived in the Calgary area for over 20 years before moving east to Ontario. These videos are making me seriously homesick. Love those mountains.
We love them too, you have some amazingly beautiful country up there!

Thank you for the suggestion. We've talked about getting something like this but probably need to get on it before another winter camping season.
Just curious as to what your fuel economy is for your jeep on this trip.
Thanks.
Yeah I also use hypervent under my trifold mattress in my Hiker trailer. Highly recommended.
That glacier is so old it could have dinosaurs pee in it. 😜🤣lol! Looks like a fun trip.👍🏼
Ha! If there is it tasted great 👌🏻🦖

Thank you for the kind comment! We definitely try to enjoy every minute on our trips.
Definitely would like to see some tips and tricks for planning your trips.
You got it!
I'm definitely down for a hat (or three)!
Heck yeah!!! 🎩👒🧢👍🏻
Very nice, how did you book the monster truck to the glacier?
The world wide web 👍🏻

Perhaps trying HyperVent Marine Mattress Ventilation Pad would help keep ones mattress from becoming a wee bit soggy😊
Thanks for the recommendation! Definitely going to check it out!
🧢🪖⛑️ yes please!
🤘🏻🎩🤘🏻
How old is that water?? Wow!! very cool!!(no pun intended) Living vicariously here in the Florida heat!! the out takes are great! LOL!
No idea how old it was but it was pretty good! Glad you enjoyed Matt's ride on the struggle bus and sweet moves 🤣
LOOKS awesome
I need Matt’s hat and a patch. Thanks. Lol
Soon! 👍🏻

We are now! Going to do a video on those! TY!
🧢-- Logo would look better if it was round or even in the shape of your trailer. Great videos --thanks for keeping it real.
Thank you! We appreciate the suggestion and are planning to switch up the shape.
Buy and use a condensation mat under your mattress.
Thank you for the suggestion! We will definitely look into that.
@@WheresWiseman we use one and have had great success, good luck. 🍀
🎩🎩🎩 hats!!

@@WheresWiseman Most of the town of Jasper you drove through in this video was wiped out by the wild fires this summer.
So sad... Such a beautiful town and park

Drive on the parkway and park on the driveway, who named them any why? Seems pretty messed up!
