I just started watching your videos today and have signed up for your Facebook group. Hoping to learn a lot, start an Etsy store, and reach passive income in the amount of my salary over the next 2-3 years so that I can start enjoying life. Glad to have found you. I will be binge watching your videos over the next few days and then I will hopefully set up a store soon. I have a lot of questions/concerns about the tax and copyright side of things and whether i should set up an federal tax ID/LLC/business bank account and all that from the jump, I haven't seen anything like that on your page yet but will continue through all videos. Hey, Thanks so much for your feedback. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos and learning a lot. I don't cover taxes because I am not an accountant or tax professional. I stick to what I know and pay someone else to do my taxes for me :) So my best advice is to seek out a tax professional and don't take advice from an Etsy seller.
Great content. Just subbed! One question. When I open my shop and start listing, my area will be in physical products, as in custom wood crafts. I've honed in on what I want to make and figured my margins etc to be profitable already. Based on that, would you recommend I build a substantial inventory ahead of time before I start listing? What I want to avoid, that you touched on, is being a slave to back orders and delivering orders. I'd love to be a step ahead on inventory but don't know if this is the proper approach! Thanks for help!

Hey Anji, I just started getting into Etsy and am stuck on sale samurai. I watched your bootcamp and some other videos but it no longer looks like your videos. Instead of seeing other options I only see most trending when looking at basic search. So basically it only is showing me more options with lots of competition. Any idea how to get it to show me something more helpful?

Can i get a specific number on ,What is considered low competition and enough search ?
Yes I have so many videos on my channel about this. But good low competition for a new store is less than 3,000. And search volume can vary greatly. I don’t look at search volume as much. Clearly the higher the number the better. But as long as there is best sellers using the keyword (and low comp) I will go for it. The lowest I’ve had and gotten a best seller myself is 32 search volume.
I'm bummed bc a customer messaged me today saying they never receive their shirt, comfort colors, it says delivered on the 22nd of April..so I did a full refund, does this mean I lost the money from printify and the sale? I feel like I lost atleast $50..just on one order.
Oh wow. I would not have refunded an order that said delivered. I would ask the customer to check with neighbors and post office first and then get back to you. Usually they will get back to you a day later and found it. If they don't and still give you trouble there is two options: 1. have them open a case with etsy for purchase protection 2. reach out to printify and let them know the customer didn't receive it, they checked with neighbors and post office and it's no where to be found. Usually between one of those you will get it taken care of not be out of pocket.

Business or personal?
I don’t use PayPal. I just use Etsy’s built in payment processor.

You should be able to write support and provide the link in my description (as your referral) and ask them to be credited
