A question, I know that amateur landspeed runners always need more torque, punching through all that air requires a lot of force. Whats the deal with these electric motors? Assuming you're all sealed up and aerodynamic, esc/motor can take it, wheels dont explode etc and youre geared correctly, do you just need as many sustained amps as possible to get close to that theorectical speed?
I'm by no means an expert but it seems like they have to fight all those things and aero, stability, control and conditions. Then if all that goes right it overheats and burst into flames from the massive amount of amps being drawn. Lol. But think about how fast they are going at scale. It's like a full size car going 1200+mph
