I have found that lint rollers are wonderful for glitter and embossing powder ❤️
Thanks so much for that tip Samantha! Would they remove the glitter though from the stencilled pattern that you want to keep as well? Or do you mean for all the excess glitter that is in my craft room and on my dog? 😄💕💕
I found lint rollers are also good for cleaning Cricut mats. It not only takes the lint but puts glue on at same time! We learn a lot from these video’s!
I love learning from everyone! Thanks for that tip too! 💕💕
@@KarensKardzz I use my lint roller for my work surfaces and the floor… anywhere the glitter or embossing powder gets that I don’t want it lol
That’s a great idea Samantha! I’m going to give it a try and I may even include the dog in that lint roller cleaning! 😂❤️❤️
Both cards are really great!!! Be kind to each other. Stay safe. Love to all

Great idea
Thank you so much Linda! 💕💕
Beautiful cards! Please tell me what else that you used on the snowflakes besides the white ink. They are so pretty
Thanks so much Kim! I used Distress Mica Flakes inside the laminating folder and that gives most of the sparkle. I hope that helps! ❤️
Great projects. i love all of the laminating tips. I am curious though, why not just run it through the laminator one time with a single sheet in the pouch instead of twice to get the double sided laminating? Not doubting you, just confused.
Thank you Dina! Sometimes I do run things through with only the one sheet, but if it’s likely to move around without the extra support, I tend to put it through with the two sheets. Usually, this is when I have loose glitter in the pouches. And the only reason I do that, is I’ve done it with the one sheet for support and had it tip over and move around, so now I’m nervous about the one sheet. 😂💕
love your ideas and your video! Can you please tell me which laminating pouches you used? Thank you.
Hi Lacey, thank you so much! I have been using the Amazon Basics laminating pouches. I also have thicker 5 ml Scotch pouches, but I did use the Amazon ones in this video. I hope that helps! ❤️❤️
Oooh, a new Karen’s Kards video!!! I love these laminate folder cards. On the first card did you cut a circle frame of glittered laminate to put over the edges of your circle? It kind of looks like it but I can’t tell for sure. Maybe it didn’t need anything to give it a finished look? As always, thanks for sharing 💕
Thank you so much Teresa! I actually put some Die Cut’N Bond on a scrap of white cardstock and then cut the circle frame from that. Then I added the glitter to the now sticky frame. One day I’ll learn to actually press the record button fully! 😂❤️❤️
A wonderful tutorial! Any tips for the reverse stamping?
Thank you so much Rennie! For the reverse stamping, I used a piece of clear packaging acetate that I placed in my stamp positioner in the corner. I stamped onto that and then placed my cardstock over it and pressed down. The image is never as great as stamping onto cardstock, but I traced over it with a Copic pen afterwards. I hope that helps. 😊💕💕
Very cool techniques with a laminator! So it is only the mica glitters that work well with this technique?
I’ve tried a few other frosty type glitters, but they seem to become “invisible” after being run through the laminator. The Distress mica flakes seem to be thicker and more opaque and they keep some of that frostiness. As for the Distress Glitter Dust, it’s just super sparkly and that shows up after laminating. I’m sure there are other gold or silver glitters that would probably work also. If you have some, maybe test out small batches first? I’ve even tried some sparkle pastes with mixed results. I hope that helps! 💕💕
@@KarensKardzz thank you so much for the information. I definitely plan to try these techniques out
You are so welcome and I hope you have fun!
What is a parchment carrier and where can you get laminated folders
Hi Robin, a parchment carrier is just a folded sheet of thin parchment paper and mine came with my laminating machine. As for the laminated folders, you can find those in most office supply stores or Amazon. I’ve been using the Amazon basics 3 ml laminating folders but I also have the Scotch 5 ml folders which are thicker. I hope that helps!
I would advise not to do that trump! Because other stuff can come out.
I like your card idea. I just don't like the Santa. It would have been cuter to have a penguin, snowman, or reindeer face.
