You never cease to amaze me! I have wondered when you have time to sleep. Perhaps you have dreams which allow you to create? Thank you for all the terrific ideas and hard work. Blessings!
Instead of adding the scrap piece of card at the top of the pouches, have you tried placing the laminating pouches in between a piece or two pieces of copier paper like a carrier sheet? I've done that and it works really well and you don't get the wrinkles or slight bends in the laminated pieces.
@@PositivelyPapercraft we used to use carrier sheets in school to laminate the kids work Also when you use the flakes on the dragonfly, if you use a dry paint brush to take off the excess onto the white sheet and then just fold it and put the flakes back into the jar ( like you do with the embossing powder).
Laminators are a girls best friend right at the moment. These are awesome Ann. I have the glossy pouches but would like to get the matt ones to have on hand for some of these projects. Be well & TYFS
If you cut the outline of the moth out of a scrap of card, you could use that to mask the card as you apply your Aurora flakes. Then, perhaps, you would avoid any little crumbs or flakes sticking to the places you have taped.
Fabulous... :)) lots of info ... ive tried making a one sided-laminated box using scored paper-right side out-n copy paper inbetween, glitter & one(both sides of) pouch. Great result... so excited! ..lol thank u.
Thank you for your demonstration. I have done something similar but I put a piece of paper over the top of the die cut and then put it in the laminating folder and then laminate it. Then cut the folder sides and it just parts. Hope you understand that. x
Maybe you could treat the cardstock with your antistatic bag, like you would before embossing. I would do it just before the laminating, because I wouldn’t want to reduce the stickiness of the pouch, you need all that to catch gilding flakes. Also, when gilding onto size, (sizing glue) I like to brush with a soft makeup blush brush. It pushes the flakes into the glue and brushes the excess off equally well, especially when I brush in small circles. This is so beautiful, thank you.
These ideas are beautiful and you make the explanations so easy to understand. Thank you so much for sharing. Please everyone don't forget to vote for our lovely lady, Ann.
Who would have thought when we purchased our laminators that they would become our new favorite craft tool? Thank you so much for sharing all of these fantastic ideas!
I really enjoy your videos. I was thinking with this technique if you sandwiched the cutout with the laminate in a Minc pouch. You wouldn't have to worry about sticking. Thank you for the your great videos.
Wow wow, wow. I am amazed! Where can I get that eraser...makes a great difference. Thanks ever so much. I do not know if I could do as well. Well done YOU! Grace
Hi Ann! thanks for using products multiple times and in multiple ways. I’ve gotten so tired of the “one hit wonders” who push products and use them only once. Your approach to using both what we have as well as things that are new is something I really appreciate. Thank you again!
Thanks Ann, another great idea. I was thinking that you only need a large enough piece of laminator pouch to adhere the die cut back into the outline shape not the whole piece of card - just an idea to stretch the use of your laminator pouches tfs
HI Ann,👸 My Goodness Ann, you really have got your creative head on you have worked so hard to bring your wonderful ideas to your u tube channel thanks so much I really do appreciate all your hard work 👍✨ I Loved all of your projects thanks for sharing 👍. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with on Sunday Ann, as a very modest crafter I love u & your channel ✨❤️ Lin
Absolutely stunningly beautiful ❤️. Took it right back to basics for us all. So if we weren't sure you took the time to explain it again and simplified it again for us all. "Wonderful". Thank you so much 💖 for your patience 💗. Angel Blessings Lesley 💟
I love how your dragonfly came out, the green, blue and silver embossing flakes are stunning on it! The butterfly card is so cool looking and so beautiful. Love the "embossing powders and sequins" laminating too, so fun and cool! Such brilliant ideas for laminators and crafting! Hugs, Brenda
It's all about those gilding flakes!!! They're stunning. Such cool ideas! We had a laminator. I'll be asking my husband if it's been packed in our locker or donated when we moved. I can't remember!
I may not know what I'm talking about but something you talked about got the wheels in my mind turning. As to what you said about the laminator sheet that shows through the cut outs being sticky at first but it doesn't stay that way. Before you laminate anything the inside of the pouch is not sticky until you run it through the laminator. The heat activates the adhesive on the sheet. Once you get the item out and it cools back down to room temperature it returns to the state it was before you ran it through the laminator. It's just a guess on my part but it kinda makes since, maybe.
This is fantastic! I'm super excited to try this technique. I Wonder if this would be i cut my die shapes and assembled them then laminated it. then was able to place the laminated piece into the clear envelope. This would be so I could see my dies better. just a thought. Not sure if I explain that correctly so you could understand what I'm trying to say
What a nice surprise to see a video today Thank you. Blue n green gilding flakes are gorgeous. Watching all these before I buy a laminator lol. When I use flakes etc I gently wipe things first with a tumble drier sheet but just make sure you like the smell cos it hangs around for ages.
And there is more... your super ideas are endless, Ann. 👍 May I share a tip for when putting a floppy sheet of laminate through the laminator... If you gently slide a sheet of card underneath, this will support it in transit as it were. Obviously make sure not to let the card go through with the pouch. Margaret x
Love these!! I want to use the method to make shakers without gluing acetate!! AND, the best way to make stencils. The new stencils these days are really, really thin. I have a lot of older ones that work much better. Thank you Ann for sharing.
Ann, you never disappoint! :D Once again, you have added to my crafty ideas and opened up my crafty supplies to NEW opportunities! You truly are a GEM to share all of your expertise with us! I so look forward to each and every one of your videos! :) TYSM for all that you are doing! I am HAPPY to reexplore my crafty stash with all of the POSSIBILITIES that you are suggesting!
Beautiful! I wonder if you use embossing anti static bag around the moth before using gilding flakes if it would help with flakes sticking.
I thought of it too , it would repel the flakes
That's a great idea!
So beautiful Ann your ideas are marvelous what a brilliant ideas 🙏thank you
Beautiful cards and great ideas ❤️
the dragon fly is my favorite just love it so beautiful got to get the blue green flakes to make this you are wonderful
You never cease to amaze me! I have wondered when you have time to sleep. Perhaps you have dreams which allow you to create? Thank you for all the terrific ideas and hard work. Blessings!
Wow, thank you!
I really like the moth and butterfly. Thanks for sharing I will definitely try this technique when I get my laminator.
You are so welcome!

Agree.....I use a piece of folded parchment paper as a carrier sheet and it works well.
I will try it and see ;-)

Those gilden flakes with the green, blue and silver. They would be beautiful for a mermaid tail or some kind of marine dies.
Love the butterfly and moth.

You are making lockdown in Melbourne, Australia, bearable. Thanks for your inspiration.😣🐨🦘
Another super laminating video. I love the look of gilding flakes.
Love your videos...great ideas and demos!
Ann you are a genius. You are full of fantastic ideas. Your videos are always interesting xx
I love watching your hacks on laminating. I bought a machine now I have more ways to use it
I like the snow on the matt pouch but the clear is my choice for sequins and glitter. sequin stars are great for a night sky over deep blue.
I love these laminator videos
So stunning with the Aurora flakes. It looks just like stained glass! The idea with the butterfly is outstanding. Your mind is amazing!
Very nice great tips! Thank you!
I am stunned by how beautiful that dragonfly is. I had never heard of gilding flakes before but now I must have some!
More brilliant ideas Ann thank you! x

I got mine from Simon Says Stamp x
I know I’m late, but when adhering glitter or flakes I use a piece of wax paper. You can rub really well without pulling bits up. Just my hack x

Thank you for the jam prevention strip tip. I also didn’t realize there are matte pouches… Now I’ll have to check out part one!
Would using an embossing anti-static pouch over the background paper help with stray flakes on the black card?

Thank you xx
great ideas ty for sharing
You are so welcome!
For the guilding flakes, maybe a sticky lint roller would get up the stray bits of flakes.
Ann, that black butterfly is my favorite.

Truly gorgeous Ann. Thank you again for another superb tutorial. You are a great tutor.
Thanks so much 😊
You are a fountain of knowledge Ann. An adhesive eraser would work for the sticky tape adhesive. Great ideas xx

Very creative....
Thanks a lot
Absolutely love the snowy effect on the laminating pouch. That can be used in so many ways. Great tips! Thanks for all you do Ann. You’re amazing!
You are so welcome!
I made little folders with the trapped sequins x
You can laminate pretty wrapping paper too!

Can you use an embossing buddy on the card just before using the gilded flakes?
Thanks for acknowledging my idea. What a wonderful surprise! Perspective Moth turned out beautiful!! Enjoy your evening. 💚💙
