I love this idea - especially how each page can be designed with my favorite patterns. Although I don't have a snap tool, I thought maybe I could make a closure out of very small magnets (I have loads of them from a recycling project). If the magnets don't work, I guess I'll be 'forced' to buy a cool new tool! Ha! Thank you for this tutorial. I can't wait to get started!
I store my stencils in page protectors. I’m not too precious about the state of my stencils either so if I used your lovely storage design I would worry that the exposed cardstock would absorb too much moisture from mucky stencils. But you did give me a fantastic idea for a labeling system. Looking at the dsp you were using for your pockets made me realize that my storage system really should include an example of the stencil. All I have to do is stencil some cardstock and write the pertinent info on it and tuck it into the page protector. The great thing is this will work for every size of stencil I have. I’ve got everything from 3x5 to 12x12. I actually have about 6 binders worth so now I have a wonderful crafty project too. TFS. I think my binders need to become more bespoke.
I love all the laminator projects Sam. This one is perfect for the stencils. Thinking of one for my stamps. Course it would have to be bigger, but maybe I can figure something out. Or, if anyone here has something like this for their stamps, please let me know. Be well & TYFS
What a great idea!! and so pretty!!! Thank you for sharing Sam!! I will have to attempt to make one!!! lol ;-) Have a nice rest of the week!! ~Amy (Lewes, De)
You can adjust the stop-thingie on the hole-puncher, then you can just push your pages up to it, that way you'll have your holes at the same spots on all your pages - love the idea, I'll use that :)
This is a brilliant idea not only for stencil can be used for all kind of flat things in organising as stickers book , patterns books, brads book ( of course Without pocket )etc.....and display them on a shelf and name them in the side . even for a happy mail love this idea it can be very versatile! Tfs Sam 😘❤️
You've knocked it out of the park again Sam!! Genius idea, thanks for sharing. A little tip for cleaning stencils ... Biotex and water, let them soak in a bucket/bowl overnight. Smells good too 😀 x
This is such a fab idea … I have a laminator but didn’t realise how handy it would be for crafts . I also have so many pouches , never gave it a thought about using it in replacement of acetate sheets
Really awesome- thanks so much for sharing! If you make the bigger one I would be so grateful if you would do a tutorial for that if you don't mind as I'd like something I can store my larger die sets in and I think that may work. Many thanks for video as always 😊😊💖
Yes, a lady above said the same. I just didn’t want to personalise the pockets because I change my mind and donate my supplies when I don’t use them anymore, so the sticker option works best for me as I can just peel them off. But if your someone who keeps everything, then I would definitely personalise the pockets, I think it will look great 😁
Yayyyyyyy! Mine are just in a tim holtz zipper bag so this will be way better and keep them flat! Let us know when you do the slim ones , we will be wondering if you go with the same rectangle shape with two slots or what you end up with. 🤗🤗🤗🤗thanks for sharing!
I can think of so many things I can use this for, stencils definitely, but also I have a bunch of A5 swatches of all my pencils, pens, paints etc which I then laminated and this would be an awesome way to store them together and add to too.
Hi, just a perfect booklet for this. But if you want to label this, you can make a thic 'H' double paper or laminated with your text. ( intermediate bar size a litte outside of the holes, and the 'side legs' for the holes. One hole for the frontside and one for the backside , so two times trough the ring, and not to tide, and hold the rings straight. Your tekst can on the inmermediate bar, stamped or labelmachine, drawn or just what you like. Hope you understand how this is going. I'm dutch, and find it hard to translate my explenation in a short and easy way 😉😅 Hope i will see you doing this once in a video, so many people can joy your booklet with a 'H' to label it...😁❣
Question about the booklet: Do clear stamps stick to the plastic pages? Is it sticky enough to store stamps in a booklet like you made? I hope this wil do the job. And sure i will try as soon as i have some time to spend it in this craft project... Thanks for this nice laminated booklet. I Even want to try: double sided design paper, and in between, while laminating it, a temperary printpaper. Laminate the bottom closed but open at the top, so you get a pocket.. and then like you did the booklet. Remove the printpaper, so now you have a pocket booklet to store something in. 😋❤
What a great idea, thinking about using something similar for stamps and dies, but would question the weight of them, will have to play... thanks for sharing your ideas...

Awesome Thanks for sharing. Happy crafting on a budget 💲. Happy everything on a budget💲. See👁 you in the next 🎥 and on the flipside. 👼🌹
Thank you 😁
If you know what's going in the pockets you could use the stencil on white for the pocket piece so you know what design the stencil makes.

You can use the cropadile big bite to set those snaps. That way you'll have more wiggle room.
Love it. Great idea x
