Found this video on 10-27-2021. This truly is genius. I don't have laminating pouches, but I do have a roll of laminating film. The university I attended had a rolling laminator at that time, and when the ends got short, they would take the roll off so that it didn't mess up someone's project part way through. Well, they were tossing them in the trash and I found out and brought them home...I can use my roll ends and make these with no cost except the electricity to heat them up! AMAZING gift to me, thank you ANN! Blessings to you. Now I can make proper pockets for my dies and I think I could use this to make pockets for my stamps as well. I have been looking for a useful way to store all of them. Thank you so much!
Hi Anne, I had to look back for this tutorial as I needed a pouch for my disabled badge. This keeps it clean and free from scratches. Thanks again for xx
I have been agonizing for WEEKS over how to store my dies in an orderly manner and easy to see what I actually have. This is IT!!! I am so excited to get started with this huge project (I have way too many dies but can't seem to help myself! Lol!!) Thank you SO much for sharing this great idea! And I gotta go now...I've got work to do!!
Loved this idea! And I want to thank you for not talking during the lamination process. I can't stand it when RUclipsrs just have to have small talk as if they want to hear their own voice. I respect the quietness that you observed during the lamination process. You are adorable! And I love your videos. And I love what you teach us. You're the best!
What a brilliant idea and one I am happy to share with the readers of my blog .. I have added a thank you to you in the post and also to the lady who sent me the link Thank You Cxx
Your such a gifted person Ann and we all get to reap the rewards. This idea is definitely genius and one of the best I have ever seen to store your dies. Going to be doing this tomorrow while it is snowing outside. Thank you again Ann, you ROCK!!!!
Re: the finger holes idea, it might even be more practical to punch it only on ONE side, so there's less fumbling to separate the two layers when empty to put your dies & magnetic sheet (back) in... and that way also, if for any reason you'd prefer for the front to always be the front, and the backside always the backside... (although I can't imagine why... but surely *someone* out there who's more neurotic than I am would perhaps appreciate that detail... lol), then it'd be easy to identify which is which as well!)
Wow, am blown away. I bought some plastic pockets online and they were very expensive. I have just made two of my own to experiment and they are great! Thank you thank you!!
Thank u. Awesome technique 4 metal dies pouches with the laminator. I just saw this hack this morning. I saw this was filmed 3 years ago. Have a wonderful day.
Hi there Ann you always amaze me how you come up with all of your mind blowing ideas. Love watching each and everyone of your videos they are just great thanks for sharing them all 😃 😃 😃 xx
What a great idea!!! I have been making mine out of plastic envelopes and using duck tape around the edges!!! This looks soooo much better!!! Thanks!!!
I have just watched your video on laminated pockets and love the idea so made a couple then thought I need double pockets to store stamp and die sets together so I worked out how to do that and I'm delighted with the results. Because there is a magnet sheet in the die pocket there is no fear of the dies pressing on the stamps. Thanks so much for sharing this idea its going to revolutionize the way I will store my sets together.
I've been meaning to get stuck into these for a year! I finally got around to it. First it was little pouches for my ribbon reels a few weeks ago. Perfect tidy solution!! And tonight I've started on pouches for my big dies that don't fit in my folders. I've a feeling I won't be stopping there 😆 😅 Thanks so much for sharing this genius tip, Ann. It's much appreciated xx
Again such a fabulous idea, Ann how on earth can you keep coming up with all these brilliant ideas? Soooo happy i found your amazing channel, thx so much dear!
I'm so glad you're playing around with the laminated pocket idea--your ideas are brilliant! It was I who asked about being able to use a punch to thumb notch the hot laminate--thanks for addressing it in a video--I'm adding a hot laminator to my crafty wish list now! :) Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with! Thanks from the U.S.! Lisa
I have only just discovered your yt channel - how amazing! I was just about to spend $50 on stamp pouches and then I happened across your video. Thanks ever so much - you have saved me heaps !! Very appreciated.
You are an absolute GENIUS! I'm going to do this for all my dies. I've been looking for something that would fit my larger dies and these are so custom. Thank you so much. They are super strong too which is great for the heavier sets.
I have some magnetic sheets arriving tomorrow for me to get my dies organised and was looking for pouches / pockets ideas. Your laminator series is the gift that keeps on giving, love it. Also, have been crafting up a storm with your gorgeous "just a note" die that I received a day ago. 💜
Hi, I am watched hours of videos that are very helpful and informative. however this is the FIRST time I have ever commented on one, your idea is absolutely GENIUS!!! Stay Safe and Well!
Oh.My.Goodness!! This is the coolest!😎 I have a laminator that I bought a couple of years ago...and STILL haven't used. 😖 Don't judge, ok?😉😄 Your process confused me, so I watched it again. Ahhhhhh! I get it! Brilliant!💡💡💡 Thank you SO much for sharing your ideas.🤗
Oh my goodness! Yesterday I got out my collection of dies, scratching my head to think of a way to improve storage - my original idea of plastic CD packets with magnetic sheet worked to some extent but some of the die sets are too big for that system. So, this morning I did a search on RUclips and found your video. What a find! Such a brilliant idea and I am so grateful for your 'magnificent obsession' :-)). I have all this equipment so guess what I'll be doing today. Thank you for sharing this great idea - it's a real game-changer for me!
Such a helpful idea. Thank you so much!! I've been trying to find a good way to store and organise my dies that doesn't involve having to buy yet more STUFF!!! I have all this equipment already so here's to organised dies thanks to your idea.
Thank You Thank You Thank You for showing us this idea. I have just tried it and I love it! I am now going to convert all of my stamp and die pockets to these ones. Now I can get my stamps and dies properly sorted and stored.
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing your tutorial, can't wait to try this fabulous idea of yours. I have been trying hard to think of an idea for storage if my die collection. Thank you again 💓
You said it - this is brilliant! I had no idea you could do this with a laminator! I have all sorts of things that I could use this for! Thank you so much for sharing! Now I’m going to binge watch your other videos in hopes of learning more! Best tutorial/storage idea I have seen so far!!!
Made these and I totally love them!!!! You can actually make them in any size that you want!!!! i messed up on a few and thought I turned shinny sides together but didn't so I took dies and cut out items with them. I actually didn't waste a thing even with my bobo's!!! lollol Keep up with all your genius ideals we all love them!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this idea! I would never have thought of it! It will make storing items so much easier. As I am an Australian it is very hard to find cheap storage solutions here..... crafting is a very very expensive hobby in the land down under... so anything that reduces costs is welcomed with open arms.... Thanks Julie
Firey367 I could not agree more with you about it being expensive here in Australia. I live on the Gold Coast and truly wish we had easy access to some of the wonderful craft places in America, however postage can be a real killer. So glad I came across this video for the pockets.
I was about to place a very costly order TOMORROW! I’m now canceling said order! Going to get a pack of pouches instead as I already have a laminator. Best crafting hack I’ve ever seen.
Hello Ann 👋🏼 I have only very recently found your you tube channel. Like a child on Christmas morning is an understatement 😂 I am having so much fun watching your videos and learning lots of stuff. I am very new to paper craft and I’m not very good at it. I was starting to lose confidence and thought about giving up 😢 But creating is very good for mental health. When I follow your tutorials I actually produce something half decent. So thank you so very much 😊 Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪 P.S. This particular video is a game changer!
I just found this. I have watched this 2xs. This is perfect for what I need. My dies are stored in many different ways. At least with this method, everything can be uniformly stored and easier to find or know what I have. I have some doubles because I forgot what I had. Thanks for sharing this.
What a great idea. I was at a craft day and one of the girl had her dies in these pockets after watching your video, so here I am, finding out exactly how to make them. Thank you.
Oh my word!!! Absolutely brilliant! I’ve just spent several days trying to find pouches to store the paper pumpkin stamps in - would have to buy expensive custom sized ones. Not anymore! So excited! Thanks for sharing! 😃😃😃. Happy girl here in the USA!
Just found your video today while searching for a stronger plastic package for my dies. I like your idea and was going to try it and then I remember I still had the Xyron Exlaminator that I have hardly used in the past 10 years!! I also still have a few packages of the avery plastic bags I had used for my dies. I found that I could just cut the flap off the top and run it thru the xyron and I have a stronger plastic bag to now use after trimming the edges!! You are amazing and what a wonderful way to use this idea for shaker cards!! Thanks a bunch and so I thought I should go ahead and subscribe so I don't miss any other great ideas!!!
all my stamps and dies done!!! have crafted for years and struggled to find adequate storage solutions.....this did the trick!!! best idea ever, thank you

EDIT: just made them, fantastic! I bought a massive amount of spellbinders dies the other day - over 60 and just in the process of doing my 1st one of these, brilliant idea!! EDI
Thank you so much. I made my first 2 pouches after watching your video. I will have get more magnet sheets to revamp my collection. This method keeps everything together, visible and neat. Excellent idea!

This die storage project is incredible! Most of my storage sleeves are ripping at the seams and is so frustrating. These will be nice and sturdy. I love the added punch for removing the dies easily. I can't wait to get started! Thank you for sharing your wonderful idea!!!
@@PositivelyPapercraft I made these die storage pockets yesterday. They are so sturdy and very easy to make. Thank you again for your brilliant tutorial.
Ann, Thank you so much for this clever idea. I wish I would have seen this earlier. I stored all my dies in notebooks, but it was too bulky to go through, so I ordered 3 packs of 50 Maxtec pouches for $8.99 and reorganized all my dies into bins like yours. I love it!👍💕 I still am in need of more storage pouches. So I'm going to give it a try and make them myself, since I have the supplies. Thank you.👍😁💕
You clever lady. I just made half a dozen of these. I did not have any magnetic sheets, so I used thick black card and magnetic tape which I use to make fridge magnets. It has done the job at a fraction of the price. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I have also done a few to store my clear stamps in too. (stuck to acetate) xx
What a brilliant idea. I have watched your other videos on laminating. This is ideal for my dies. You are so clever to come up with all these ideas. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, great idea. Keen thinking and I certainly will create some. I’ve made smaller ones for journals, but it never crossed my mind to make bigger ones for die cuts!! Thanks so much for sharing.

What a brilliant idea wondered how to store my stamps and dies in my new workroom thank you so much for your fantastic idea
Hi Ann ! How on earth did I manage to miss this ?? But its perfect, exactly what I am needing right now ! Hi Anne, thank you so much for this idea. I can save sooo much money. Very clearly and simply done.
You are so welcome Vermelle!! Thank you :-)
What a brilliant idea. I'd never have thought of doing this with my laminator. It's been
costing me a fortune here in Australia for storage stuff. So glad I found your vlog.
By the way, I love your accent. Just subscribed.
What a wonderful idea. I will definitely have to give this a try with my dies and stamps. Thanks for sharing!
Such a smart way to make pouches. I’ve never seen this technique. Thanks for sharing.
Ann, what a brilliant idea. I used your idea and oh my word!!! how awesome and how CHEAP and yet so practical. You should get an award for this. I have looked at a few idea but decided on your idea because the laminate pockets are by far the cheapest, strongest and so easy to make. I only could not punch the half circle like you did. My circle punch was not cutting through. But I am still happy with it because they are still very accessible. Thank you Ann for sharing this. You are GENIUS!!!!
Use a small circle die and put half of it over the pouch...run it through your die cutter so it cuts a half circle...exactly the same result!
Thank you very much. I use plastic DVD pouches with a slice of velcro fastening for all small die cuts and stamps, but had a real problem with larger die cuts and stamps...then found this video! I have just done some and they are great. I can't wait to see your other videos using this technique.
Once again, thank you 💗
Ty, it is so easy and fun to do. Not to mention you can fit everything.

Thank you.👍😁💕
Yeah, you're right, that's a genius idea! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome! Very clever of you to think of this great Craft aid! Many thanks for sharing.
Ann what a great idea. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
What a brilliant idea.
Absolutely great idea!
You are a genius Ann. 🤗💖
Wow, great idea. Keen thinking and I certainly will create some. I’ve made smaller ones for journals, but it never crossed my mind to make bigger ones for die cuts!! Thanks so much for sharing.
That's very nifty and fantastic. I really love this idea. Thank you so much for showing this to us all. xxx Mags
