Great ideas tfs. If you used 2 pieces of the wallpaper that you wanted to laminate, place them together with the right sides out you could laminate both sheets at the same time and save laminator sheets
Tip! Lightly spritz the back of curled paper with water to help it relax! Worked for me on piano roll paper!
Hi Ann, great video. Just a suggestion and thought, if you do two envelopes back to back or plan to do another project about the same size, that you only want the laminate on the one side, you could do them together in the one laminating pouch, then you don't waste the other side of the laminate. Maybe you had plans for that plain white piece of paper but didn't mention it or I missed it. Additionally, if the laminator will take it you could fold up the bottom portion of the pouch, leave the top flap open and run it through in the pouch, it will seal the pocket part but then you use an Exacto knife and carefully cut through only the laminate along the top edge of the pocket portion and it opens the pocket. You'll need to leave about an eighth of an inch around the item to keep the pouch portion sealed along the sides.
Thank you for all your tips and videos. I just found your channel this week. I love everything. I bought wallpaper books for $1. each couple yrs ago. 💖
You come up with some neat ideas. You could turn the box on its side and put some candles or something else in the box. With the box on its side you can then see your wallpaper more. Embossing the paper itself, without the embossing powder is pretty too.
Wow. I love all these ideas. Everything turned out beautifully.
Brilliant. What a fantastic use for left over wall paper. Let’s have some more ideas with it. You are so talented Ann. Thank you.
Pretty wallpaper!! I would like to see your bedroom with the matching bedspread and curtains. I know it's a beautiful room. Thanks for the ideas. I ordered my first Big Shot machine and can't wait to start making different items....cards and such. I am so excited!! Thanks for sharing your ideas!!!
Ann, the ideas you just gave are endless!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Hi Ann - you can roll the edge to get the snap into the plier. Makes it easy to get them off the edges. Love the wallpaper!
Right! I also thought the flap could be cut a bit shorter, just enough to get the clamper tool on.
Hi. What beautiful ideas you have and the finished product is amazing. Thank you for sharing this.
These would FANTASTIC envelopes instead of the drab store bought ones ~ thank you!!
Thank you for showing me how to laminate on one side of the paper. This opens up a whole bunch of new possibilities.
This is great... I have been wanting to make scrap paper envelopes that hold up in daily use that coordinates with my card stock! Thanks for sharing this idea.
Hi Ann I love your tutorial. I need an A3 laminator now... I need a second job to finance all my needs and wants! 🤣🤣
A clothes iron and parchment paper and a tea towel on a sheet of heavy cardboard or a piece of plywood or other wood on top of a table or ironing board will work nicely.
You might need to iron it a few times, but there's no hurry, so why not?
@@pamwaldron3504 oh wow great tip!!
You could add a button and a lovely thread with a tassel on the flap to wind around the buttons. Love yr idea
Wow Ann, such perfect uses for your scraps. Since your connector doesn't reach down far enough, you can put in a piece of elastic and tie in a knot at the end and it will stretch out to hold it close even it gets a fat belly of sample pieces. So happy for you.
Thank you lady for another great idea please keep them coming I love it.
Anne i have the grey wallpaper and will make matching pouches with it...great for the wee bits lying around...jewellery i take off at night, tlights etc...now they can match. Covered a box with wallpaper but not as stunning as the laminate. Also got a wee tray on my coffee table for candles and now will laminate a bit of wallpaper for the base! Your ideas are fantastic and soooo wipe cleanable! Keep these fab ideas coming. I got a box of plastic snaps too but find that the gun is too big/ thick for most project materials, if that makes sense. I end up with buttons and an elastic loop bit also finicky for my arthritic hands. Happy New Year! Xxx
Ann, you never disappoint with your ideas. You are the best. Thanks again for sharing.
Love all your tutorials especially laminator ideas. Keep em coming Ann just amazing x
Thank you for showing more of the steps. I don't have a laminator and want to see how much time it takes. Glad to see this useful tutorial!
I love these new ideas especially with the sparkle wallpaper I’m going to incorporate it into a birthday card. Thank you.
Hi Ann, So glad I purchased a laminator after watching your tutorials. I will be giving these three ideas a go when it arrives tomorrow, beautiful, useful projects. Thank You for sharing your ideas and talent. : )
Great Ann ! Very interesting, love the result you got from the embossing folder too. Sure want to try, just need wallpaper... next time I get where there is some i will try it out. Thankyou for sharing your super ideas.
I bought pre covid 3 sample books of wallpaper wonderful and cheap back then
Some sites let you order free samples.
I've never handled wallpaper, but it looks like it would be great to make mailing envelopes with!
You should make 2 storage wallets, placing 2 pieces of wall paper back to back in the laminating pouch. Don't use scrap paper as it sticks to the pouch and is basically wasted. You could make 2 storage wallets from one pouch.
Yes, that was what I was thinking too.
So many brilliant ideas... thank you Ann. 💖
Those paper pouches are perfect for budget keeping and money envelopes and things as well I'm excited to try this! Tfs ❤
I think it would be so precious to have a pouch like this for keeping my vehicle paperwork in the glove box!
Beautiful!!! I never would have ever thought to use wallpaper!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
I was able, years ago, to get hold of a wallpaper sample book. :) I have lots of patterns and colors at the moment. They work nicely as backgrounds on cards too. Blessings!
Made one of your smaller pouches with paper napkins, use them for coupons. I have lots if samples of wallpaper so I'll have to try the bigger puches. I'm glad you're happy with your bonsai machine, I bought one with the free pouches and the folder along with my napkin curled right around the heating roller. 1st time was fine after that ruined. I have a very old generic one that still works like a charm, so I better stick with that one. Thanks for more inspiration.
Love all those ideas, so I know what I’ll be asking for for my birthday. Thank you Ann for another great tutorial. xx
I love the pouch. My laminator only goes to 8.5 X 11. I will see if I can adapt the pouch. No extra wallpaper will try the paint store to see if I can get the discontinued books. Thanks for an excellent tutorial!
Anne, you have great storage ideas! You make lamenating look so, so easy. Can't wait to see what's coming up next. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and ideas with us!
Oh....what fun! I have drawer liners I've never used, and I have that same tray too...and smaller ones, it would make a great set and be prettied up. Have you tried it with fabric?? A great way to use up some papers too...thanks again, Ann!
Loving your laminating ideas. Keep them coming please.
If you cover the inside of the embossing folder with the ink and then run it through the machine it saves you from repeating the process. Loved the ideas you shared.
I'll use laminated wallpaper for my disc binding journal cover. I have loads of high-end wallpaper samples and rolls. The grasscloth will look amazing. Thanks for the idea Ann.
I'd been wondering if I needed a laminator ... now I know the answer! Lol. Really enjoying your videos, thanks for the inspiration. xo
I soooo love your videos, such great ideas (and I love listening to your British accent) You could use a small square of velcro to close the pouch with. I have them on covered paper pads and they work well.
Pretty wallpaper! I bet your bedroom is beautiful!
What a brilliant idea. I've only just found you, and so happy I did. My laminator has been in the loft for years, I had no idea it could be used for so many things so it's coming out - TODAY! Thanks again for all your great videos x
Glad it was helpful!
Love your ideas ,I would repaint the tray first
Hi Anne, you could do two snaps as a closure if you go at it from the side if that makes sense, hope this helps 🥰
Sorry Noleen , I honestly didn’t see your message , just was watching and typed . Same old me just jump straight in and don’t look first . Great minds and all that lol
@@angelaharnett6437 no problem, I do that all the time, I was just thinking about it to myself and thought it would be lovely with two and it would make it more sturdy as it's a bigger size.
You have so many creative ideas! Thanks so much.
Really great ideas, I wish I knew what the measurement were, here in Canada we do not have A3 at least I have never heard of it before, our cards are A2. Maybe you can included inches in your tutorials, not a criticism at all, just helpful for us not in the UK. Thanks for sharing I am loving your channel.
Ann loved these ideas especially the embossing folder idea. Will have to put an a3 laminator on my list lol. Great tutorial x
Wow wow wow! Love the wallpaper and the pouch idea. Would love to see pics of your bedroom. I bet it is stunning. That wallpaper is stunning. K I’m on the look out for some bigger laminating pouches now. Who knew! The embossed card was stunning and the tray ide is very cool. Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year! Hope your home is getting settled! Hugs from Ohio USA!
I will have to play with this. I always thought once you cut into the edge of the laminate, everything just comes apart. Hmmm... Thanks for the ideas. Lovely tray. Creative Blessings!
Totally great ideas, Ann....thank you for sharing, dear. I loved the idea of using leftover wallpaper too.
Awesome ideas!!! I have to go make sure I've seen all your ideas with a laminator.. I really enjoy making mini albums. I'm going to try and make the cover and pockets with my laminator. Thank you so much for inspiring me.
You are so welcome!
Love all the ideas you shared! You have great tutorials, love them! ❤️
Thats such an awesome idea! I have a roll of wallpaper I juat love the pattern of, could inagine many things to do with it... But always hesitated because of lack of a sealant on top :)
And the white papee can be used for alcohol ink art! :)
Did you know if you run your warped or rolled papers thru your laminator sandwiched in between copy paper, your paper will be flat and easier to work with
Hi Ann, OH WOW ANN, yes u are Right it is a really cool idea u are so clever to think of such Awesome ideas so Pretty & what a Transformation fab thanks so much for sharing Really Appreciated 👌 Stay safe Stay Well love Lin ❤️👍
Thank you so much Ann, I really really enjoyed watching you again. And this was a year ago, so it was like watching the first time. I really really love ❤️ those wallpaper pockets/pouches, I’m really really going to try that out. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Absolutely loved it all; especially the embossing of the wall paper!
The storage pouch is a brilliant idea, and using the wallpaper to make the backing for cards is fab as well! Thank you for sharing this 🙂 xx
Awesome ideas. Ann you are brilliant.
Thank you so much Ann, this is so awesome and amazing too. I brought some of the matt laminate folders and made loads and loads of napkins and made some really really pretty too. And that’s even great 👍 using wallpaper too. So when I can, I’ll be laminating anything that doesn’t move!!!!! Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Haha we will be laminating our pets and homes next lol xx
Another great tutorial! Fab ideas that I'll be hoping to recreate soon! ❤
Thank you :-)
Beautiful job!! Great idea!! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for all the ideas. All are wonderful.
If you're going to use a lot of PVA try buying from a builders merchants. I get mine when I visit the UK as it's really expensive here (I live in France) and I've found builders glue to be stronger than similar shop bought products
I love the embossed card backgrounds, they are beautiful ☺️
I love your tutorials ❤ Very inspiring !
Love your ideas Ann x
love this idea now I have found another way for using WRMK Envelope Notcher !Thankyou
Brill tutorial again Ann,love everything u do🥰❤❤xxx
What great ideas thanks for sharing 🤗. Why do you spritz the paper before embossing does it help it somehow?
A lovely video Ann❣️ love the embossing on wallpaper🤗 great idea👌🏻👏🏻X
Good ideas, love the embossing particularly. If you laminate both sides you could create nice place mats!
Great idea!
Fab hun love the project will defiantly be making some love your wallpaper too
Seeing you use white PVA glue I have remembered that The Works also sell clear PVA glue - have you seen it? I have a bottle but haven't used it at present.
Could you not use the snap things but go in from the sides and put one on each side . Love the folders . Brilliant idea Ann x
What a great idea. You could always use a split pin & string/twine to close it. Which products do you make samples for C&C? Will have to keep an eye out for them xx
Great idea! I work for Sizzix but i also do the sizzix shows on Create and craft. I am down on wednesday the 27th at 7.30am, 8.15 am, 3pm and 8.15 pm if you can tune in and watch me :-) xx
Great idea making pouches , could you trim some of the depth of your top flap so your machine reaches the hole to put your snap on x
Hi instead of using the white paper could you use 2 pieces of wallpaper and get 2 pouches out of one laminating sheet just a thought
yes you sure can !!
Great idea! You could just trim a little off the flap to make it work.
Re roll the wallpaper and you won't have so much curling. This is a great idea for left over wallpaper
Brilliant ideas as always! Thanks a lot to share Ann! Best for you in this new year!
You could make a pillow diary to match your bedroom decor.🌺
Gently curl the storage pocket into the pliars. This will allow them to reach deeper into the pocket.
I will have to pull my laminater out and my huge book of wallpaper and give it a try!
Can you sandwich a laminating sheet (not a pocket) between two sheets of wallpaper and laminate them together? If so would it work with vinyl wallpaper or would the vinyl melt. Years ago I was making paper purse out of vinyl wall paper that looked like real purses. I glue two pieces of wall paper together so the inside was finished as well. They looked great only to come unglued several months later.
I did the tray hack over Christmas with a laminated napkins! It’s a great idea Ann xx
Gorgeous! Fabulous ideas
Thank you Ann great stuff!!
WOW fabulous projects 🥰 I love your ideas and tutorials ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
What fun projects! Awesome! Tfs
As your paper is A3 and the pouch has to be bigger to seal the sides...could that be why the pouch is bigger than the A3 Works paper?
I would make 2 thick card button and attach with the eyelets and use fine twine to close it.
Lovely tricks with the wallpaper. 😊
Absolutely A May Zing. Love everything in this video. Will be trying these and I'm inspired to try a few ideas of my own. All the best to you and yours for 2021 stay safe
Ann have you tried wiping the embossing pad on one side of embossing folder, then it gets imprinted onto the paper. SureI have seen Tim Holtz do this, but appreciate it might not work with wallpaper. Great video as usual ty💖 🌍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌍
Ann, check with your local paint and wallpaper store and see if they give away their Sample Wallpaper Books. Where I live (Northern California, USA) Once a month my local store gets rid of their out dated sample books. I have been getting them for the past 20 years, great variety and It's FREE! a great source for crafting on a budget!
Oh fantastic!! I will do that next time i am over there :-)
Folder is a good idea and lining the bottom of wood box with wipe clean pretty paper, Thank you :)
Wow. Great ideas. TFS. 💖🤗
I just discovered you, starting to watch your videos, love them. Maybe I haven’t watched enough yet - but what is the purpose of using paper (1 or 2 sheets) in the pouch along with the item you want to laminate?
Welcome to my channel Connie. To stop the pouch sealing together
@@PositivelyPapercraft I just made my first pouch. Adorable! Thank you!
